Not recommended even for budget travelers!

Breakfast was decent.

Dirty floors, towels, taps, walls and bathtub. Broken back door that my wife could not even open. Leaking toilet sprayers, water everywhere on the floor because of a very bad shower that leaks water everywhere and the most disgusting bathtub with rotten wooden frames. Leaking water through the window into the bedroom.

Club Bamboo is an established resort near Patong beach! Our of all the noises and chattering of the party centre. walk 5 minutes you will reach the beach. Budget friendly, peaceful. Stuffs are very friendly. Good decoration and service!

Such a accommodating establishment from cleaning to meals to check in and out times. Staff were super stunning and helpful Perfect reception staff who took care of everything

Bad hotel nothing like the advert.

The first room they put me in was far from what the advert shows, the outside furniture was dirty and one chair was full of bird droppings, even the room was dirty still had long black hair in the bath, the basin always had water underneath dark like a dungeon every thing was worn out even the mattress had metal pocking through, I went to see the manager he told me it was an old building, I said yes but the rooms should not be the same he said you booked a deluxe room to which I said it is far below deluxe room standards, so we went to look at the room and after seeing it I was put in another room was better but not all that good, they say they have a jym but even this was not in use for the 10 day I was there, I booked 2 scooters but they only had one and had to wait 3 days to get a scooter, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, the advert must of been from about 12 years ago, even getting to the from reception to the room was like a marathon carrying a suitcase, if you have a bad back or heart condition don't stay here.

Not worth it, ruined my holiday.

I liked the pool area, it had beautiful decorations around the pool giving it a great atmosphere

a lot. I arrived to my room and the bath was full of ants, I let them know but was happy to stay as I could just wash them out, the next day it got worse. Ants everywhere , cockroaches, spiders, it got to a point I literally couldn’t be in my room, there were flies and maggots everywhere, in my bed, on my pillows, on the floor, tables etc! It was disgusting! the staff were not helpful either, I asked for a clean of my room when it was bad and let them know I’d be going out for a couple hours, came back and was still dirty and gross, they didn’t help either with room change when it finally happened on the 2nd to last day there, will not be staying here again, I’ve never had sleepless nights because of the amount of bugs in my room . Was not good at all. I do not recommend

That, that AC wasn't working so well, and the birds outside, right outside my bathroom was making alot of noises. couldn't sleep well at the morning.

Great location near Nanai Road, with Friendly staff and a lovely pool where to relax during the day

Staff Check-in/check-out processes Location - few steps to Nanai Road Facilities - especially the pool, etc I am a returning customer since several years and Club Bamboo Boutique Resort & Spa always represents a good option to consider every time I need to stay in Patong.

This time my Superior Room was beside the Reception. I will reserve my favorite Deluxe Bungalow next time, with is quieter and nicer. Probably some Rooms & Bathrooms may require some renovation.

The place was filled with cockcroaches and bed was hard as a rock, very uncomfortable, the airport didn't work. The bathtub didn't have a stopper, the TV didn't work

Ok, but underwhelming. Not what we expected.

Short walk to Patong beach. Staff were friendly. Pool area is very nice and breakfast was great.

Room wasn’t clean when we arrived. Had to ask twice for them to come and clean it which they did, and they were very apologetic about. Had to ask about 4 or 5 times to get a do not disturb sign which we only got on the last day. Safe didn’t work and there was no solution to that. Bathroom door didn’t close properly. Shower leaked into the bedroom. Fitness centre wasn’t open (one of the main reasons we booked). If you dig into some of the extra info it does say that the fitness centre was closed due to covid but is not immediately apparent in the info and still lists it as an amenity.

In a good location out of the noisy center but close enough. The staff was friendly and helpful the room had enough space and balcony. You can rent a cheap scooter, not very big or new but it can take you everywhere.

Too old facilities,you can hear everything out of the room thankfully the rest of the residents was quiet. The mattress was hard and the breakfast poor no cheese or cold cuts options or honey, also with the most activities of daily tours start at 7:00-7:30 it's difficult to have it when it starts at 8:00.

the staff were really attentive , the lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

we wasn’t able to use the gym and there was also quite a few bugs in our room however when we told staff they came with bug spray immediately.

We stayed in one of the bungalows. Staff were amazing . But the bungalows really need a massive renovation. All sorts of insects, come in from every point of the room, as its not sealed . Bathroom is very old and not pleasant.Above the air conditioning there was bird nest inside of the room. So you couldn’t sleep as the birds were so loud . If you want to stay here choose the rooms upstairs. Generally if they upgrade the outside of the hotel and bungalows would be perfect.

A bargain budget stay. good staff. good food and a very clean hotel

THE POSITIVES. Excellent value for money we paid just under 800Bht. per night including breakfast. I would definitely return again not only for the bargain but because the staff are so nice and welcoming The staff was extremely helpful, polite and very friendly speaking English fluently. The whole hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious comfortable and very clean although well worn.. All the bedclothes and towels were fresh and very clean. The food is excellent and the American breakfast cooked fresh for you, is more than adequate. We hired a Scooter from the hotel which was very reliable and safe with no hassle when we returned the bike. The Hotel is built on a hill and surrounded by trees and the chalets well laid out all around the pool area which was also beautiful and very peaceful with a miniature waterfall running into the pool THE NEGATIVES I would at present only rate it as a very low three star. The hotel is in desperate need of a major makeover (the COVID Years has taken its toll). Not all the facilities advertised are available ( I would advise to call the hotel before arriving to confirm). The biggest thing to be aware of is that there are no lifts and there are hundreds of steps to your room and the restaurant. PLEASE do not book if frail and cannot walk many steps or if you have very young children.

Good budget choice, but not exactly three stars. But not exactly two stars either.

Great pool, but need to run the waterfall more often. The staff was really excellent. They were very accommodating and worked hard to make the stay better than the rooms themselves would otherwise be. The staff and the restaurant was great too and the food was adequate. Patong food is expensive in general.

It would be awesome if they decided to install an elevator. Now guests have to walk several flights of somewhat dangerous, old-fashioned stone stairs. A lot of the furniture is very old. Some of it looks charming, just like the stone stairs, some just looks old and dusty and worn out. With a bit more updating, and the a shuttle, the place could really be awesome. But now you have to use Grab or call a Taxi, as the staff doesn't know how to call a taxi.
