Fabulous

Everything was great! From valet, to checkin,room staff,turn down service offered our spa treatments were delightful. The food was very good also. I have recommended this property to family and friends and look forward to returning

I am not sure I would stay there again.

Location is perfect in great weather. The look of the place is very nice as well.

My bed was very hard. I liked the location of my room but was surprised how uncomfortable the bed was.

Coffee maker was not clean. It was in odd location where there was no outlet to plug it in. The room phone didn’t work

Terrible customer service

Great location

Terrible payment system. Would not accept my citi visa due to chip error. Manager could not find solution. I had to use another card. Terrible customer service. Will never stay at A Marriott property.

Won’t be back unfortunately. Far too expensive for what it was.

For what we paid, this was nowhere near the standard. We won’t be back. $4000+ for 6 nights and having to pay $80 for my wife and I to have a standard breakfast felt like robbery. Management don’t have the finger on pulse here. I could think of 20 things I’d do tomorrow to make this place immediately better. They served us fully raw chicken at the pool, they shut the only nice restaurant in the place on our last night for a private function without notice, there was a strike on, the pool was filthy, the breakfast situation was a farce, the “kids club” is hilarious - it’s non existent. The manager there told me to call booking.com at which point I gave up.

Not worth the cost, most staff not responsive, shower leaks everywhere, plumbing issues, noise complaints

I called to speak with a Manager twice they said that they would have her call me back - she never did so I went to the front desk and told them that I had requested to have a Manager call me and they have failed to do so. Once again the girl at the front desk said that she was busy and she would have her return my call …..once again she never did. I was extremely upset at this point and went to the front desk the next morning and spoke to another Manager forgot his name I think it was Carlos he was a little more helpful and apologetic for the inconvenience we had to deal with. He did follow up with me when he told me that he would. This room was NOT worth the money that we paid I really regret booking a room here!!!!! Save your money and book somewhere else!!!!

Disappointing

The location is amazing, the facility was good, we enjoyed the view and the pools, and the staff was friendly.

There was a strike going on that had started a few days prior. The kitchen was not open due to the strike. The food quality was not what was expected and after 9pm, there was no food on site. The protesters were loud, playing police sirens all day. We would have appreciated a heads up and a call to let us know of the situation prior to arriving as we had a large family of 15, and the food issue was a big inconvenience

I loved how clean it was and the grounds were beautiful

Our stay wasn’t good because workers were striking and it was an absolute disruption of our only vacation . It sucked . We can’t afford to go in another trip

Superb

We had a great stay at Laguna Cliffs, unfortunately it was only for one night since we were catching a ferry to Catalina Island the next morning. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. we enjoyed the pool and the hot-tub and a beautiful breakfast in the morning in the restaurant downstairs. Very nice!

very clean, high end resort, great staff…

there’s a fee for everything. there is no self hotel parking other than on the public street. i don’t mind paying for parking but do mind having only 1 option to keep my vehicle on the hotel premisses.
