Great value for money and a lovely place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Peter and the staff really welcomed us and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There were Wi-Fi issues for a day and Peter sorted us with his hotspot, which worked brilliantly, until to company came and fixed the issue and we had Wi-Fi. I will had the Wi-Fi was superb. The bungalows are lovely and spacious and sitting on the balcony in the gardens is beautiful. There is tea, coffee and cakes to enjoy. Peter helped us with anything we needed and is a lovely guy.

Feels like home

The place is really welcoming, as is Pamela the owner. She has been super helpful with the Island life things. The small size of the resort was perfect for me, and could do my Taiji practice in the nice garden every morning.

Cute cottages and lovely staff

Cute little cottages with fridge, nice porch. Lovely staff! Free coffee. Nearby beach is super gorgeous. Close walks to shops and restaurants

The location was a little more out of the way than I realized. The beach nearby wasn't one of the most popular, nor was the nearby area very lively. I also will probably go for beachfront next time. This is a 7-10 minute walk to the beach.

Would love to come back.

We had a great stay at Papaya Cottage. Nice and clean bungalow. Separate bedroom and a nice balcony to have the morning coffee. The garden is lovely and it's a short walk down to the beach. Lots of good restaurant and bakery's in walking distance.

1 week went to fast.

Tania was so welcoming and helpful. She went above and beyond. When I had sand flaky bored she bought me medicine at no cost yo me. She also offered to take us on a jungle walk to see the waterfalll. Lovely staff. Clean room wil air con. Close to the beach. Daily cleaning of rooms. Thank you papaya cottage. We will be back.

A nice and quiet resort for relaxing and chill out

The resort has a beautiful scenery of plants and nice terraces.... Bed and aircon was good.....

We were in the Monsoon time there and the dirty road to the resort was partly under water. So walking was a mess and the staff transported us with motorbikes to the street. They should improve their small road in a paved and secure way....

Welcoming place

Very friendly staff, possibility to rent a motorbike and big clean room. Location nearby some restaurants and supermarkets. Very good choice for exploration of Koh Chang!

There could be some small lights in the garden. If you come back late, you need to walk to the bungalow in total darkness.

the place is perfect for low budget visitors, but I'm willing to play double for some improvements

like already mentioned: the room was clean, the bed is comfortable, silent air-conditioning and fast internet

- the way from the main road to the cottages was muddy and even dangerous when raining - only one little bottle of water a day is not sufficient for a coffee, a nightly sip and toothbrush rinsing - a little television to pass the time on rainy days would be nice

Felt at home here.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was kept clean, and we had a nice big balcony to ourselves. The prices we paid for everything seemed really reasonable compared to everywhere else we had been to.

Amazing!

I loved absolutely everything regarding my stay. The bungalows are suer nice, spacious with a great shower and good bed. The fact of having your own porch overlooking the tropical garden is amazing. Tooky (manager) and Om (housekeeper) are 2 amazing woman. They are so kind and helpful and it felt like family and saying goodbye was difficult. Also Pamela (owner) was super kind by sending me a message (she was not there) and super helpful. The bungalows are also super clean and I felt spoiled with clean towels on daily base! I would recommend it to everyone to stay here and if I return to the island I will def. come back!

Great place for families

Very nice manager. She offered us a free ride to the south of the island and was very helpful. It felt more like staying with a friend than staying in a hotel. Also our kids liked the place a lot.

The place is the perfect location in Klong Phrao Beach. It has easy access to beach area and has many nearby shops for eating and groceries. The room is very clean and the place is very nice and safe. The water pressure is strong and good wifi connection. The aircon is cold too.The place is quiet at night though very near eating area. Most of all, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. She made our vacation comfortable and relaxing.

Cosy stay

Hospitable and helpful staff. Useful briefing of Koh Chang. Very clean rooms. Walking distance to the beach. Has English-friendly island tours dive courses, wood trekking... available.

Entrance is a bit hard to find. Path needs renovation and light (a bit dangerous).
