The villa is like be on nature, all sound around is relaxing. Feel like a cocoon .
Easy to visit the ubud center with bike, nice swimming Pool.
The staff were really quick to answer and fulfill all our request ( driver from Gilimaklnuk harbor, scooter rental, massage and even laundry)
I even had the chance to enjoy a flower bath in the room !
The temperature of the water for bath could be warmer (I like it really hot) but that is just a small thing really.

We were warmly welcomed by Made who made us feel at home during our stay at Moringa. Villa is located in a secret location near rice paddy which was amazing experience. Made went a step ahead and prepared breakfast for us. The villa had all facilities and the fridge was filled with all necessities.

Made the host makes the most amazing breakfast for you every morning. And one day I even told her a Balinese food I was wanting to try and couldn’t find where to buy it and she made it for us homemade the next day. The kindest family and host you could ask for to help you navigate your stay in Ubud

Moringa Ubud is a great choice for any adventures looking for a jungle retreat outside the hustle of central Ubud. The Villa was very clean and the pool was incredibly refreshing. As other reviews mention, the hosts, Kope and Made were the real the stars of the show. You will be hard pressed to find kinder, more helpful people. They were always available to answer any questions and provided seamless transportation to the Villa from the airport (even very late at night) and from the Villa to my next hotel for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a great experience off the beaten path, Moringa Ubud is the place for you.
No real complaints but a few things to note. Moringa Ubud is truly a jungle villa. If need a silent, fully dark room to sleep this is probably not the place for you. The noise from the jungle and the nearby rice paddies speaks to the area’s tradition but is noisy all the same. Additionally, the villas are accessible only by a dirt/rock foot path. The staff is incredibly helpful in transporting luggage to the Villa but I wouldn’t recommend Moringa to anyone with mobility issues.

Absolutely loved everything about this villa. Stunning, exactly as in photos. Quiet location about 10 minutes outside of central Ubud. I fell asleep each night to the sounds of frogs and crickets. Very relaxing.
The pool is cold and refreshing and the landscaping is beautiful.
But the best part is the hosts, Made and Kope. They make you feel like family. Such lovely people. Truly the highlight of my stay in Bali.

It is in a secret place, you need to walk a small path to the villa. The villa is so beautiful and swimming pool is so cool. And the breakfast is so good, the host will come to your villa and cook for you.
You must add the host WhatsApp in advance before check in, it will be more helpful.

Made and Kofe were incredibly welcoming and wonderful hosts. They were kind and responsive, and helped us to have a wonderful stay.

Our stay was wonderful, just a 10min scooter ride out of the very busy Ubud. We could come back to our private and relaxing villa. The villa and pool were exceptional. Kope and Made cater to our every need, cooking our breakfast at the villa every morning and ensuring we had a clean villa every day. Kope also organised our activities and driver back home. We will be back!

We had a perfect stay at Moringa Villa. We stayed for 3 nights for my partner's birthday and it was so lovely, I wish we could have stayed a lot longer! The hosts, Made and Kope, were amazing. They helped us out with everything - airport pick up, meals, organised a special dinner for my partner's birthday, helped us buy boat tickets, rent scooters, etc. The property is beautiful - it's very clean and has everything you need. It is your own private piece of paradise - can't wait to come back!
I can't think of a single thing I would change. The location is a little out of the way - but perfect if you are after privacy and quiet.

We loved the hosts. It was nice having a kitchen and a villa to ourselves. The hosts even stocked the fridge with fresh fruit and drinks for us. It was peaceful and beautiful. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and had fun things planned. They also connected us with their brother-in-law for a taxi driver. He took us around and was very dependable and quick to respond and show up! He was also very friendly and helpful. He offered to take us to places we didn’t even know about but were so happy to see!
We didn’t expect to be as far from things as we were. But our driver was always there in minutes to take us anywhere. Also, it was actually nice being a little further away because it was more peaceful and quiet.

I loved the location and the little walk along the path to the villa, rural but not too far from Ubud. The hosts Madi and Kope were amazing nothing was a problem and they would go out of their way to make your stay special. Kope gave us a bag of passionfruit when we left after we had commented how nice they were.

The hosts really make this stay, Made and Kobe were unbelievably kind and caring people. They became family over our 5 night stay. Made would check in to make sure we are happy and safe (There was flooding in Ubud one day). Kobe and Made set us up with a scooter, a ride to our next destination and our fast boat tickets to Gili Air. The villa is beautiful with a private pool. The homemade daily breakfast was a bonus. Also if you love Koi Fish you can feed them yourself which I personally loved. The only thing that needs fixing is the roof by the vanity leeks when it’s raining. No where close to the bed which is good. Thank you for an amazing stay :)

The most beautiful place I have ever stayed. A homely, luxurious and clean place to stay and definitely one of the highlights of our trip and perfect for a honeymoon. I will really miss the villa and would not consider anywhere else if I had the pleasure of returning to Bali. The location was also good, a 15 minute scooter ride from the Ubud centre.

Maddie and her husband Kope have been so welcoming and hospitable, and have gone above and beyond our every ask. For example, I asked for them to help me host a romantic dinner for my wife’s birthday. Maddie and her lovely daughter had organised a delicious three course dinner and a personalised cake. They even went onto decorate the entire villa with fresh flowers (the bed, doorways and also the bath!)
Breakfast
The term ‘breakfast’ is a massive understatement for what is served here. The options for breakfast were all delicious, we especially loved the traditional noodles and rice with egg. In fact, we looked forward to the breakfast every evening- it was just that good and fuelled us for the entire day! Literally, I can’t even remember buying lunch. They even offered breakfast in the pool, which was a great experience too.
Extra
Along with all their services within the villa, they also offered tours and suggested excursions within Bali. Maddie also bought my wife some oil to soothe her mosquito bites, reflecting the kind and brilliant service offered.
To conclude, I can’t recommend the villa enough, especially for a honeymoon!We will definitely miss it, and the hosts dearly.

We loved Moringa Ubud so much and wish we could have stayed longer. Such a beautiful and relaxing villa. This property is a bit out of town but as we love the countryside and had a local driver it was perfect for us. Made, Kope and their lovely daughter were the best hosts and made us the most delicious breakfast each morning. A truly warm and beautiful family. The villa itself was so clean and comfortable and we loved going to sleep listening to the frogs and geckos singing. I really hope to stay again one day. Great swimming pool too.

The property was drop dead gorgeous from the stunning garden and private pool, to the bathroom with the stone plunge bath! The girls make you feel so at home and welcome, and honestly did not want to leave! Will be staying there annually now as it is just like a little slice of heaven. Thank you for making my time in Ubud so memorable! X

The location isn’t very practical to visit sights or go to restaurants in Ubud. Check in was a bit slow and difficult. And overall, even if it’s a nice place, it’s expensive for what it is. You can find nicer places for the same price

Everything. Whoever stays here will have the sweetest, most attentive and willing to go above and beyond hosts. That will make your stay much more pleasing and keep you busy with wonderful things to do around if that's what you are after. And the villa is gorgeous, it has a gorgeous pool and a bathtub as well. Is close to Ubud centre.. honestly don't think there is a way to ask for more
Nothing. One thing I will say is if you hate nature this is not the place for you. It has a perfect balance in between nature but having your own privacy and an extremely tidy and clean place to stay.

Speechless...i have never met hosts so warm and caring.the place is peaceful and clean...the hosts will ensure you get the best of bali luxury . From flower baths, to floating breakfasts to dropping and picking from the market...and yes their eye for minute details to keep u comfortable....amazing!

Romantic place to stay with your partner with nature sound. Quite place and very comfort , this is ubud.Bu made as an owner very helpfull and kind, breakfast was so good and can accomodate floating bfast by the pool if we want.
Just a little bit about hot water, sometime not working properly and a little bit dark if we want go outside at night through the path.

It was amazing. Kope and Made (owners) treaded us like we were family, the breakfast was really good, the villa looked goureous and the surrounding was beautifull. In the evenings you can hear nature calling in the complete sillenceness. It felt like we were the only people on earth and was very peacefull. I would definitely reccommand this place if you want to relax and privacy.
