Ben and Kim’s house was everything we needed. The view from the back deck is amazing, any issues were resolved with a text.

Positive about this property: The location is very good. House is spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay. The owners are helpful and responded quickly and took care of our needs.
Negative: The property description is misleading. It says a house with a pool that sleeps 14. But if you have 14 people including children there is an unexpected additional per person per night charge of $750 in addition to the hosting fee, cleaning charges, etc. I had two members cancel, one family came after one day, and one left one day earlier but had to pay this $25 per person per day charge ($125 per person over 8 people). I have been booking VRBO for many years but never paid extra per person charge. The charge is mentioned nowhere and was not clear before booking.
The house has no pool. You can use a community pool if member of the YMCA. It should not say a house with a pool but one with access to it.

This home was perfect for our large party with lots of teens. The basement is the ultimate teen getaway with the rest of the house having plenty of bedrooms for all of the adults. Communication was great with the owner and location was central to everything. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Colorado Springs!

The house itself was OK, nothing special. There was no extra toilet paper. Not enough towels. No kitchen trash bags. Broken/damaged window coverings. Spiders!! The gas grill was dangerous. For the amount of $$$ I expected more. The kids wanted to go swimming./ and or use the gym. The extra cost was $ 8 per person, but they closed at 6pm. So they couldn't get in because they were filled to capacity. Also it was a 30 minute drive away from the home. very disappointing. With all the fees the cost was over $1000 per night. Ridiculous. I've stayed on the beach in Florida with a private pool & jacuzzi for that amount!

The house was everything it was advertised as and perfect for our entire family. The communication with the hosts was great, the house had everything you could need, the beds were comfortable. It was a great experience and we would certainly stay there again.

We truly enjoyed the house. Plenty of parking in the driveway. It was just enough space for our family to enjoy the holidays. There were a lot of instructions posted throughout the house but it did not stop us from enjoying the home. We hope to stay visit again!

Bring towels
This property suited our needs perfectly. Close to family and great location. But be sure to bring towels, hand towels, and washcloths. There was one towel per person, two hand towels total, and two washcloths total. So we purchased towels at Walmart. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Fantastic stay for our family
We had 2 adults and 4 kids and this was the perfect home for us. There was plenty of room for all of us to have our own space and the kids loved it. The home is well equipped and the ping-pong table was a big hit for evening family fun after sightseeing around town. It is a great location and our family felt very safe. The views of Pikes Peak from the back are incredible. We stayed during New Years Eve and saw that they shot off fireworks from Pikes Peak. Now that was an incredible experience that I'm not sure we will ever see again. Benjamin was very attentive when we contacted him and you can tell that he really cares about his guests and the quality of their stay. Highly recommended.

Excellent Thanksgiving Stay
Due to an impending snowstorm, I contacted the owners asking if my son could arrive a day earlier. They contacted me back quickly, and was able to accommodate them. As a mother who was arriving a few days later, I was more relaxed knowing that they were safe inside their home.
The home is beautiful, clean, stocked, and comfortable. My family of 7 had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend. I would recommend this home and its owners.

Wonderful house for my family!!!
This was the perfect house for our stay! Great layout and so wonderful that it had so many rooms and bathrooms. It is decorated and stocked wonderfully to help traveling with children. We spent quite a bit of time in the backyard and on the deck! This was my first time to use a vacation rental by owner and it was a great experience! Even being in a neighborhood it still felt very quiet and private. Great job by the owners for providing so much information about the home and ammenities.

More than expected
We arrived and accessed the property without issue. The home is well equipped with laundry, dish, bath and hand soap including trash bags and many of the items that one is required to bring or purchase during a trip. All family members enjoyed their own space with breakfast and dinners together in the more than adequate seating arrangement for eating as a large family. This property is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood easily accessible to shopping and site seeing. Our family enjoyed our time in the home and will return when traveling in this area in the future.

Colorado Springs
We had a family gathering of 14 people. There was plenty of space for everyone and sleeping arrangements worked out very good for the different families. The location was great for the Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs activities. We visited the Garden of the Gods, the zoo, Cave of the Winds, the Springs of Manitou, and Focus on the Family. There are still more things to do there. The kitchen was big enough for a couple of people to make meals and there was enough seating in the kitchen and dining room. The living room provided space for the kids to play board and card games and the basement was great for ping pong challenges. We brought corn hole for the back yard and there was plenty of space for people to sit and others to play.

Graduation Stay
Our family of 9 stayed for the USAFA 2019 graduation. It was very spacious with plenty of extra beds, bathrooms and quiet space. It was a perfect centralized location for all of our needs, Academy grounds, Costco, restaurants, etc.
Owners were very easy to work with and thought of everything for our stay. Only wish we had found this home 4 years ago when we started staying for USAFA events!
