Situated in Colorado Springs, this charming house for $1,146 per night is a great option for your next trip. 3 Blocks from The Broadmoor! Ground Floor Master Suite, Plenty of Parking, This is not your typical vacation rental home, which will become obvious the moment you experience it. Comfortably air conditioned throughout, this welcoming 6800 square foot home and the extensive surrounding gardens and grounds create a unique atmosphere appreciated by our guests who are searching for something truly exceptional. If spending real quality time having fun with family and friends in unequaled comfort and beauty is what you're after, this is the place. We've been making wonderful memories for folks renting our home for 15 years (as of 2024) through Vrbo. Nothing has been spared to assure that our guests will have a vacation to remember, from a level of finish and décor throughout the home that will please the most discriminating tastes, right down to the superior mattresses, pillow tops, and linens you will find on each bed. (Our guests have told us they enjoy the beds so much they don’t want to get up!) The outside of the home is like an extension of the inside. Have coffee or breakfast on the deck, dinner on the private lanai, or just kick back and relax around the beautiful gas fire pit on a summer evening, ensconced in the private gardens. It’s a transforming experience. Just off the deck is a sculpted 4,000 pound granite boulder spouting a cascade of water which creates the calming sound of a babbling brook day and night. We do our best to make sure guests have a great time during their stay and feel pampered, so you'll find little extras like a book that describes great things to do in Colorado Springs and our favorite places to eat, nice soaps in all the bathrooms, 'How to' instructions posted near the things you'd like to know how to work (the gas fire pit outside, the BBQ, the home theater, etc.), and even an electric car charger in the garage! We often get asked about Swimming Pools in the area that guests can use for themselves and their kids, and we're happy to say there are 7 beautiful ones, the nearest of which is a quick 6-minute drive from our address. We have rented VRBO homes before here and in other countries and it's been our goal to make this one of the very top properties you could rent in America or Europe. The 5-Star Broadmoor hotel is just three blocks away and our home is close to the wonderful Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Seven Falls, Stratton Open Space Hiking Trails, and just a short ride to Downtown Colorado Springs. It's one of the finest properties in the best neighborhood it this beautiful town...what's not to like! NOTE- Sleeps up to 14 guests in this way: 1 Kings bed (2 people), 3 Queen beds (6 people), 4 twin beds in the bunkroom (4 people), and the big sofa sectional in the home theatre area that can sleep two kids 12 or under. Extraordinarily beautiful home and location. There’s were 11 off us (5 adults and 6 children - ages 6-14). It handled us nicely. The property was immaculate. Spacious and well-equipped kitchen to accommodate our meal needs when we were not traveling. Great location, in striking neighborhood, accessible to so many excursion sites (Pikes Peak, Royal Gorge, Mountain Zoo, etc.) We took advantage of game options (early AM and PM) at house: pool, ping pong, darts, croquet, ladder toss, chess, etc. Our adult runners found great running trails in a park close by. The gardens and landscape features around the house were beautiful and well-maintained - a mini botanic garden!! The adults enjoyed sitting around the fire pit in the evening, after the kids had settled, chatting and sipping a glass of wine. The kids saw deer run through the yard and so instituted an evening “deer walk” to see if they could see more. The realtor, Liz, who checked us in-and-out, was lovely. All-in-all, a great experience. Highly recommended.

This was the most outstanding VRBO property we have ever rented. The home was very large and well appointed, it was like we were truly living in someone's home. The owner and both property managers were very easy to deal with and most attentive to our needs. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed our time. in CS and on the property. We had a wonderful time at this property. Stayed with teen children and adults. This is the perfect place to stay in Colorado Springs. If you are thinking about staying at the Broadmoor, stay here instead. We were able to use all Broadmoor amenities including zip lining, restaurants, etc., except the pool… but had the space and privacy of this beautiful house for the family. We loved the bikes, toys, and game room in basement. House has almost historic feel but it’s modern and beautiful inside.
We will definitely stay again!

Fabulous home in Colorado Springs!
We book a home for our family vacation every year at different locations. We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was beautiful, spacious, and easily accommodated our family of 8 adults and 6 grandchildren. The children loved the game room with air hockey, ping pong, pool and a large screen television for movies. The adults enjoyed the beautifully landscaped yard for afternoon cocktails and a game of bocce ball. The location is excellent, and we walked to the Broadmoor a few times for dinner. Vivian the property manager was very helpful, and Bill the owner was gracious and accommodating. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Amazing Home and Gardens!
We have rented several Home Away/VRBO homes over the last few years when we have taken our grandchildren on a “grandkid vacation.” I think we all agreed that this was the best place we have stayed. There were no issues of anything not working properly or needing immediate repair while on the property and everything written in the VRBO description of the house and grounds was totally accurate. The home owner, Bill, and his property management team (Kathy and Vivian) were very helpful and easy to work with upon check in and check out. They contacted us ahead of our arrival by email and text. We felt very comfortable in contacting them prior to and during our stay if we needed to as well as with the owner, Bill.
You will not find a home better equipped to stay in. It was amazing every detail that was thought of right down to phone charging pads in bedrooms and very generous supplies available for use.
My favorite part of the stay was sitting out under the gazebo in the early morning with a cup of coffee and listening to the wonderful water feature and viewing the beautiful gardens with flowers and trees. Unfortunately the family wouldn’t let me sit there for too long! But sitting at the kitchen table, there is a lovely view to the front yard with more flowers and on two mornings we watched deer saunter along right in front of the kitchen window. Bottom line, this is a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it to everyone. We would love to come back and stay longer! Also, the house is so close to a lot of places to go. Do not miss the Cheyenne Zoo. It is fantastic. I say that having just been to the National Zoo in Washington DC which is fabulous. Thank you Bill, Kathy and Vivian for making our grandkid vacation even more special.

Broadmoor Home
Home looks beautiful, however, we never used it, had cancellations at Broadmoor, so did not need the additional rooms for staff..maybe next year! Bill was a delight to work with.

Great family home with wonderful location
Our three generation family enjoyed last week's stay at this home. It was move in ready for the week, only needed to bring the food. The location was central to most activities in Colorado Springs and was excellent location for hiking the mountains. The home was excellent inside/out. We enjoyed the indoors, especially all the activities for the kids and adults alike in the game room and the outdoor patio area where we ate most of our meals and relaxed in off time. The landscaping was beautiful and very relaxing in the evenings. All family members agreed, they would love to stay here again. Wonderful experience.

Amazing home, fantastic location!! Amenities perfect for our large group.
From the very start... reservation to leaving, we had a wonderful experience. There were 10 in our group, ages 10 - 66. The home had plenty of room to spare and something for everyone to enjoy. They went above and beyond to prepare a surprise for my husbands retirement to be ready upon our arrival. Perfect backyard for grilling/hanging, kids playing, or simply admiring the beautiful grounds/gardens. Close proximity to everything we had planned to visit, just don't wait to the last day to enjoy the bikes, start each morning with a bike ride if you can. Recommend to everyone, you won’t be disappointed! We're already planning to come back.

Well thought out with lots of room to relax!
Bill should teach classes on how to make a VRBO home comfortable and a seamless experience. He was quick to respond to any need or question. Every detail was well thought out! We had everything we needed to cook meals each night which is not common in VRBO's. We relaxed in the extraordinary back yard and spent much time walking around the property enjoying the beautiful landscape. We spent the majority of our time outdoors which was the intent of our vacation. We traveled with two small children where being outdoors was essential and it was made even better by Kassie Bowen with BabyQuip who delivered a crib, a wagon and LOTS of toys. We have now found our favorite combination of house and Kassie to have a truly relaxing trip with children. Also, the Colorado Springs Airport was a traveler friendly small airport which was a nice surprise.

Stunning with surprises at every turn
The beautiful home is inviting. So many delightful touches in a corner or shelf! A perfect place to stay while visiting family. Close to upscale restaurants, shops, trails. The highly rated Zoo is nearby. Playground and neighborhood walks made a stroller ride fun. Outstanding gardens and statuary in the yard were delightful. We look forward to future stays! Thank you!

Perfect in every way
This home is just fabulous. Our stay was so much fun. Everyone enjoyed the back deck and yard area. The game room was also a hit. My grandchildren saw deer and rabbits each morning. The location is perfect! We will be back. Thank you!

Very Nice Home, Great Location
The house was exactly as described in the rental listing. It was ideal for our party of 10 (ages 4 to 72) and offered everything we needed to make our time very enjoyable for our 6 night stay. After a day of exploring CO Springs and our different activities, the kids took advantage of the vast basement, ping pong / pool tables and large tv for video gaming. The large backyard allowed kids and adults alike to enjoy games of croquet and bocce ball and even some basketball. The adults particularly enjoyed reading on the back deck (with the fountain) and the fire pit on colder evenings.
The house was very clean when we arrived and well appointed. Vivian, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful throughout the week for any needs or questions that arose.
Halfway through our 6 night visit we had one small hiccup with the internet and TV going down. We never regained functionality because the modem needed to be replaced. This was beyond anyones control and did not severely impact our stay as we compensated with games and reading.
The house is conveniently located, only about 1 hour from white water rafting, and the Royal Gorge and just minutes from the amazing Cheyenne zoo and downtown.
Everyone really enjoyed the Broadmoor home and the Colorado Springs area and we would definitely stay here if we visited again.

Exquisitely Appointed Home
Our stay at William Moyes beautiful home could not have been more wonderful! The home is exquisitely appointed with absolutely every possible dish, glass, towel, etc.
We spent most of our time outside on the deck and lovely gazebo. We hope to do this again next year. There were 9 of us all retired RNs who graduated together from the University of Iowa in 1963.
The yard, flowers and gardens are beautifully maintained. We felt like we were living in a mansion. Thank you for this lovely vacations! Nancy Peters
