Located in the heart of downtown yet set aside in a quiet neighborhood, you can walk to the Olympic Training Center, Memorial Hospital, Boulder Park, Memorial Park or grab a bike from the Pike Ride stand and head on a short ride to all the best shopping, restaurants, and events in downtown Colorado Springs. Plus+ there is a wonderful park and playground less than 1 minute away. This is the ultimate vacation getaway! WIND BELL FACTORY: Originally used as a wind bell factory, this large home has many one-of-a-kind features that will make your stay both relaxing and memorable. Step inside to be inspired by the history and majesty of Colorado Springs and enjoy making memories with your family that will last a lifetime. HOUSE: Designed for Your Comfort - Keep warm and cozy in the winter with central forced-air heat on the main floor and individually controlled electric baseboard heat on the second floor. We install window AC units in all bedrooms and living areas to help maintain a comfortable stay during the warmer months. 5 BEDROOMS & 4 BATHROOMS: All bedrooms in this house feature KING beds! - Main floor master suite complete with king bed and ensuite bathroom with rain shower. - The second floor contains the remaining 4 bedrooms, all of which have KING sized beds! One bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a second bedroom has an attached balcony. There are 2 additional shared bathrooms, including one with a European soaking tub and rain shower on the second floor. LIVING: The main level features a large living room with large sectional and full sized sofa so everyone can enjoy the game or latest movie together on the 50” smart TV. We provide streaming tv service, which will connect you with most sports, news, and movie options or you can also connect into your own apps. The property is equipped with high speed WIFI for those working virtually. The sofa has a convertible full sleeper and provided linens. KITCHEN & DINING: The expansive kitchen is well equipped to make cooking at home a pleasurable experience. You’ll find granite counters, more cabinets and supplies than could ever be needed, a gas range, and stainless appliances. There are two primary dining areas - one indoors and one in the outdoor patio - both of which seat 12. You'll enjoy sitting under the chalkboard ceiling with an image of the topography of Pikes Peak. LAUNDRY: The laundry room contains 2 washers and dryers to help keep up with the dirty clothes you create while exploring the mountains. ENTERTAINMENT: The house features several fun entertainment options for your visit: - Checkers board game nook for that epic checkers or chess game - Second floor features another game area with foosball table, board games, bar top and small smart TV, also equipped with Hulu Live. - Outdoor patio - Enjoy the 300+ days of sunshine in Colorado Springs by barbecuing and eating at the 12-top picnic table on the outdoor patio. PARKING: There are 2 offstreet parking spots available in the alley, as well as onstreet parking directly in front of the house. The neighborhood is home to longtime neighbors and we expect that guests will be respectful of the surrounding environment. If you're seeking to party or have kids that will not respect neighboring properties, this is likely not the right home for you. To help maintain a tranquil setting, we use a noise monitoring device which is 100% privacy compliant and endorsed by VRBO. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels) so that our home is being used for residential purposes, not wild parties. We look forward to hosting you at our Wind Bell Factory. RENTAL AGREEMENT: Upon reservation confirmation, Guest will need to complete a Rental Agreement which outlines the terms and conditions for use of our property. This is the same as the terms listed on VRBO but we require your signature as a condition of our permit with the city. City of Colorado Springs approved short term rental permit #0218

The house was perfect!! Decor, furniture and design was all updated!! The outdoor area was very comfortable with plenty of seating!! The location is perfect, close to downtown Colorado Springs and walking distance to a Starbucks! Loved the house for our family of 5 children and 6 adults!!!

One of the nicest rental house we have rented. Great for families or a large group of friend. Fuse ball and checkers tables were a huge hit and were our tiebreaker on deciding to rent this property. Excellent. Would rent from again.

The house is great, and the kitchen is nice and well supplied. The open space was perfect for a family gathering - some cooking, some hanging out, some at the table. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed eating all of our meals out in the yard at a full dinning table with a perfect shade. I wish I could bring my whole family back to host thanksgiving here.

This property could not have been more perfect! The view of Pikes Peak from the front porch swing was breathtaking. The location was great. The home itself was amazing, it accommodated 11 of us, 9 adults ages 21-75, 2 children 6 & 9. Warm yet spacious, everything we could ask for. We were planning our next stay before we left! We cannot wait to return in summer.

Stayed at this property with family and we woke up to a winter wonderland on my wedding day. The house was so spacious for 9 people. It was nice to sit around the big kitchen island and visit. The dining room table was perfect for a big family dinner. We all were able to sit on the couches and watch our favorite show together as well. Overall Fantastic house and great location.

Great property in Colorado Springs about 15 minutes from the Broadmoor. House was clean and large with great bedrooms for adult couples. Only thing to consider is that the downstairs tends to get warm during the summer days but cools off extremely quick as the outdoor temperatures drop.

This home was so welcoming and comfortable for our large family! We had recently lost our Mother (who had lived in CO SPGS for 86 years), and we brought her back to Colorado for a Celebration of her Life. Our family felt at home here and we especially liked the peacefulness of sitting out on the patio. There was lots of laughter and memories shared here! Each room represented the special places of Colorado Springs, all of what we grew up with! There are so many special touches and each one put a smile on our face! Thank you to the owners and the management for a seamless rental and for helping us to make many new memories! If you are deciding on where to stay, this home will not disappoint you!

Wonderful location to access all the adventures in the area! Royal gorge rafting, zip line, hiking, pikes peak, garden of the gods. House had a good size kitchen/dining for our large group and all the beds were comfortable with remodeled bathrooms. 2 bathrooms upstairs and 2 on the first floor.

This property is so family friendly ! There were 11 of us (9-72yrs) and we had plenty of room. We ate some meals there and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare or warm up our meals. The charcoal grill is such a nice addition. The bar and dining table were just perfect for us. We could all be together and visit and enjoy each other's company. Having 5 KING beds is fabulous !! No one had to be crowded. Our 17 yr. old granddaughter even commented on how nice that was. The extra bathrooms are very accommodating too! No one had to be waiting "in line". Two washers and two dryers !! How great is that!! We also enjoyed our time outside on the patio. Again, plenty of chairs that we could all sit and enjoy the view of the mountains and visit. They are very generous with all of the extras.....laundry and dishwasher soap, handsoap in each bathroom and kitchen sink, toilet paper, paper towels, and even napkins on the dining table. They have thought of everything to make the stay as convenient as possible. We even enjoyed the foos ball table, my first time to play. It sure was fun for our 2 youngest grandkids. Thank You Mary Kay for being a wonderful, accommodating Hostess. I appreciate you being available and very prompt with questions I might have had. WE WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY !
