Fun time in Savannah with friends. Lovely home!

Stayed here with 2 girlfriends. We had the best time! The house was beautiful, so big and felt historical yet luxurious. We absolutely loved it. We loved the location. We walked the park every day and walked to and from the river. It was a lot of walking but that’s what we planned for and really enjoyed everything. Very very clean!

An immaculately clean & appointed house. The kitchen is a dream & has everything you'll need for cooking & dining. All beds, pillows, & linens are nice & comfortable. We appreciated the close proximity to Forsyth Park & enjoyed the park immensely. You can catch the Savannah Trolley there, shop the vendors on weekends, & eat close by. The Collins Quarter restaurant is right at the park & is excellent. The one disappointment we had with the house is that the fireplace was not available for use. Also, if you are desiring a 'historical' feel with the interior, this is fully modern. It is sufficiently stocked with paper products, dish soaps, etc. There is a nice washer & dryer, but you will need to bring your own laundry soap & we didn't know this. We loved having a morning cuppa on the upper balcony.

Beautiful house! Comfortable beds only complaint was furniture in living room was nice looking but cushions very worn down and uncomfortable. Time to replace!

Overall excellent. A few minor quibbles: outlets on kitchen island didn’t work, exhaust fan in master bath didn’t work, stool in master bath tends to keep running after use.

Was not cleaned when we arrived

The only complaint was I feel it would be nice to have bars in the bathroom upstairs. The tub is deep and hard to step in. It was also slippery. Also code to lock box wasn’t given.

This property is exactly what we envisioned when we thought of Historic Savannah - an oak lined street hanging with Spanish moss, a gas fueled lantern over the front porch, and beautiful architecture that fits the neighborhood while being completely updated inside. The kitchen and living space downstairs are extremely spacious and well-appointed with top end appliances. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained when we arrived and made our stay very comfortable. The neighborhood location is perfect if you want to see Savannah on foot, as Forsyth Park is only 3 blocks away, most historic sights as well as restaurants, shopping, etc are within a square mile walking distance (including the Savannah riverfront), and Kroger is a short walk across the park for groceries. If you do decide drive around more, the city is can be a little trickier to navigate with the number of one way streets and pedestrian traffic, but still very manageable. One thing I would recommend to anyone staying at this property is to read the instructions carefully to know what additional things you may need to bring / buy if you are on a longer stay.

So clean, so “historically modern,” comfy beds, and spacious.

We recently stayed for a ladies trip and the property was beautiful! As described on the listing, clean and very comfortable. Impressed with the wonderful customer service as well. Location was good, but still about a mile walk to downtown Savannah. Overall our stay was great and I would highly recommend this property!

I absolutely fell in love with the house and all 21 stairs! The house is spacious and there are lots of closets. The kitchen design is perfect, my sister now wants to remodel her kitchen to look exactly like this kitchen. There are a couple of flaws though. The neighborhood isn’t the best and if something happens and you need to call the police, according to the rental agreement you will be evicted immediately. There is a used car lot on the corner along with a little liquor store. I do recommend you bring your own kitchen towels because you only get one, there are no tongs for bacon, there are giant tongs and a spatula for the bbq. There is a remote for the gate to get you in and out of the parking area, but both trash area gates are not locked so anyone can come in. Would I rent the house again? Maybe, depending on who was with me.

We loved staying at this property. The check-in process was confusing in that the listing states you can park inside the gate, but you can’t get into the gate until you go through the front of the house and grab the key from inside. That being said, it was extremely close to downtown and very easy/quick to Uber in and out. Definitely recommend for a group!

This is a very beautiful property. Spacious and clean, great ac for some very hot and humid days. We were a bit surprised by the lack of helpful kitchen and laundry items. We are used to cooking for ourselves. The kitchen was very well equipped with dishes for 20+. The pots and pans very nice. The disappointment was that there were no spices, not even salt and pepper. There were no coffee filters. While traveling, we don’t carry all of that with us. Many of the other places we stayed had at least a starter amount so we could cook. There was also no laundry detergent. We don’t expect all of that to be provided, but enough to get started would be nice. Especially with the amount we payed for this rental.

Convenient "home base" for discovering Savannah.
Beautiful VRBO! Incomplete renter's manual for the off street, secure parking and non-responsive daytime property management.

Savannah Trip Review
Checking in was difficult. We did not know that we had to go into the front door to get the fob to open the back gate, and to get the key to the gate at the house. I tried to call the evening we checked in, the my call went to voicemail. We finally figured it out. The house was very nice, comfortable, and we enjoyed staying there. Love the neighborhood and close proximity to parks, etc.

This was a beautiful, spacious home with comfortable beds that suited our needs perfectly. The area of town is fair- but Savannah tends to have pockets of amazing, surrounded by not so nice areas. I felt safe, and the gated parking was beneficial. The house does not have any amenities, in terms of cooking, etc- if you choose to cook, you will have to bring all of your own supplies (oil, butter, spices, etc.). It's a 5 min. Uber ride to The Riverfront- and walking distance to Forsyth park. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Lovely home just blocks away from Forsyth Park. More than a mile to the riverfront. Too far for our group to walk but there is a trolly tour that stops on the opposite side of the park. The home is beautifully done. Master suite and kitchen were gorgeous. Beds were comfortable. Second and third bedrooms were a tight fit but comfy and welcoming. Living room furniture could use a deep cleaning but were ok and gorgeous pine floors needed a wet mop cleaning. The neighborhood bordersoin the edge of a less well kept area but felt safe. Otherwise I give this property a thumbs up.

The place was beautiful and clean inside. The outside areas needed attention, the back porch area was very dirty. The beds were very comfy!
No Kleenex was provided.
The two electrical outlets on the kitchen island did not work at all.
Could have been provided better instructions for initial entry into gated parking area upon arrival.
We would stay again, location is great.

Our family of 5 adults spent 4 nights in this beautiful property. The renovations were at a very high standard. There was comfortable seating in the living room and the kitchen was a dream. The flight of stairs to the second floor were long and a little steep so anyone with mobility issues would have a problem because all bedrooms are upstairs. We were a group of 60+ and none of us are in great shape and we had no problem. Walking distance to many things, short drive to everywhere else. We used Uber more than taking our car out because the Uber rides were cheap and easier than trying to find parking. We went to the farmers market in Forsyth Park on Saturday which was fun. The liquor store is still sketchy but not problematic. The only loud noises were on a Saturday night but that was not any different than other urban areas. Bedrooms were beautiful and comfortable as were the bathrooms. Would stay here again.

Mom/Daughters Getaway
Perfect place for TN. SC. and FL family to meet. We walked from Lady Gwinnett to downtown through several squares to our tour beginning. The townhouse was immaculate, quiet, fully stocked with everything needed. I was concerned about parking spaces as there would be three vehicles. One went to designated spot and there was plenty of space for other two in front of house without any problem.

This townhouse was just spectacular and just kind of took our breathe away. We LOVED it! And it location to historic Savannah was great. We were able to walk to many things that we wanted to see. But if we chose to take an uber home, it was a short inexpensive ride. Only downside that I feel like I should mention is the corner store. At first we thought that it would be really convenient having a little market so close, but it turned out to make us feel a little uneasy. Easy fix... just don't go there! But the townhouse itself is just amazing and a true joy to stay in.
