Nestled in Savannah, this attractive house for $494 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Enhanced Housekeeping re: COVID-19: The health and safety of our owners, guests and staff is of utmost importance to us. We are taking extra precautions and steps to ensure that all professional housekeeping and interior property sanitation needs are not only being met, but exceeded, to ensure a hygienic environment. Specific enhanced steps taken include more commercial antibacterial cleaning products, staff wearing facial protection and gloves when in the homes, more frequent deep cleans, and continuation of our professional hospitality grade linen laundering services. Located just East of the famous Fountain at Forsyth Park, Mandy's Veranda is the charming Southern cottage you've been looking for! Look for the white picket fence and colorful trim to know you've arrived; this friendly 1800's cottage has been updated to suit the needs of the modern traveler, while still harkening back to old Southern charm. Put down your bags and kick your feet up inside the formal living room facing the front of the home. Adjacent you'll find the open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. Toward the back of the house is a casual living space and flat screen TV. A washer and dryer are ideal for extended stays, with a full bath conveniently located for sleep sofa guests. From this room, there is access to the deck with rocking chairs and a courtyard with large seating area -- the perfect spot for spending and evening sipping wine and recounting the day with loved ones. Upstairs, three bedrooms and two full baths. The primary bedroom boasts a King size bed, and en suite bath. Across the hall, through the game parlor and writing room, the second bedroom with Queen size bed and a third with Twin and Trundle. A full bath with tub/shower combo has Jack and Jill doors to accommodate both bedrooms. What is parking like for this home? Parking is on-street and non-metered, which is a first come first serve basis. Typically, guests do not have trouble finding parking in this part of town. Guests are encouraged to keep note of the posted Sweep Zone signs. Sleeping Configuration: Bedroom 1: King Bed Bedroom 2: Queen Bed Bedroom 3: Twin and Trundle Living Room: Queen Sleeper Sofa We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. There is a $130 pet fee (non-refundable) with a 35 lb. maximum weight limit per dog and a limit of 2 dogs per reservation. Some homes may allow larger dogs, please inquire for more information. We never received any emails with our door codes. Was on the phone the night before for at least 45 minutes trying to get a key code to get in, finally got
the information then was able send to my daughter and son, they were coming from different areas. Once we've got there the door code didn't work, I had to call Lucky Savannah back and finally got the correct code. The house was not cleaned has expected. The floors needed swept as you can see hair and dust I had to clean because I had my granddaughters with me. I have short hair and in the master bathroom had long hair on the floor. When we took the sheets and pillowcases off the beds, the pillows were yellow. 😡 The kitchen was not stocked, outdoor furniture was not wiped down such as the table. Some kind of construction was being done so there was long boards on the front porch which they did move as I complained because of my Granddaughters could possibly get hurt. Location was great within walking distance from the areas we wanted to go to. Overall, the house was cute. I highly recommend a deep clean especially in the bathrooms and kitchen. The walls going up the stairwell should be wiped down as well. Pretty nasty.

We loved our girls trip to Savannah. The house was exactly as the pictures showed. It was very clean, in a great location and charming. We loved sitting out back at night. It was so quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this house for a comfortable, fun visit. One note…lots of stairs so would not recommend for elderly.

Great place! Has all you need for a fun weekend. We walked when we wanted and cheap Ubers to come home. Beautiful neighborhood and the master bed is awesome. Only negatives: master bath shower drains slow and water pressure isn’t great but it’s an old house! As well as the AC. Not the best but it’s an old house. Also they forgot to cover the outdoor seating and it rained the day before we came so it was all soaking wet. Reason we booked was for that back patio. They have covers and must have forgotten to put them on. We had to use our own towels to sit on top of cushions

Mandy's Veranda was overall enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. My biggest concern/complaint is that the exterior of the home is in need of major maintenance. One of the master bedroom windows was broken/rotted. Due to the window being broken, we had a hornet in our room one day and we also heard a lot of outdoor noise (like the train that runs seemingly every morning). Additionally, a number of the exterior steps were visibly rotten and questionable to step on. That being said, the inside was lovely and is as advertised.

The customer service with Lucky Savannah was some of the best I have experienced with a house rental. I would recommend this company and specifically this house. We loved that it had three full bathrooms! The back patio was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. The historic district was in walking distance. We walked to Java Burrito for breakfast one morning and it was delicious! A few of us got the ham and cheese croissant and their scones were fantastic!

What a great little getaway weekend we spent in this beautiful historic home in downtown Savannah. It really had everything we needed and then some. Loved having the common areas to spend time as a family. Certainly makes hotel staying a thing of the past. This was an awesome weekend!!

Great stay, clear communication with the team. The house is so cute and central. The only down part was the showers/pipe are old so the shower gets clogged when showering so your feet are just sitting in a bath tube filled with water while you shower. But overall it was a great stay!

The house was as described. Not fancy but very comfortably furnished. Comfortable beds. Perfect location as we parked the car and walked everywhere we went. Spent most of our time in the historic district and the riverfront district. Toured several homes, ate a lot, shopped and explored on foot. Did the hop on and off tour to orient ourselves the first day so we could go back and see what we wanted. We also went to Bonaventure Cemetary, a haunted tour, Tybee Island and Hilton Head. (lighthouses).

Overall, my friends and I had a really nice stay here however, the house was dirty when we arrived. One of my friends stepped on a small piece of metal that was on the floor. There were pieces of candy and other trash on the floor and all the garbage cans inside were full. We weren’t happy having to start our vacation cleaning a house where we paid for a cleaning fee. Additionally, when I reached out to the management after checkout, they seemed concerned and asked for me to send pictures (which I did) but I never heard from them again.

Property is in a great location! The beds are very comfortable. It has a nice back patio, but we couldn’t use the large red furniture because the cushions were soaking wet. We would stay there again.

It has nothing at all to do with the property or the property managers, they were great! Maybe just pay attention what is going on in Savannah before you book this or any other property in the area. Had I been with my girl friends, it would have been perfect!

Location was great, and it was pretty clean, but the house needs work. A towel holder was coming out of the wall. The inside of the front door was filthy and scratched I guess from a big dog. The bathrooms need caulking. It just needs lots of attention.

The vacation rental was a disappointment overall. The location was great but that is where the great ends. In almost every room there is a maintenance issue. From shelves without braces (so they fall when you put something on them), to holes in numerous walls were shelves were moved and the previous holes not fixed, a pair of men's underwear (not ours) on the top of the cabinet in the bathroom, no replacement trash bags, shower heads in desperate need of replacement, the list goes on.

Great place and great location. Previous reviews are correct in that there are no standard kitchen cooking items, but otherwise well stocked. Comfortable beds and very clean. Some sort of gnat or biting flea at night on the back porch, but just cover your legs and no problem. Hands down I would rent this house again. It's so beautiful.

I was staying here with a few friends and we had such a nice stay. All of the rooms were clean. The living areas were spacious and had plenty of seating. It was a great location as well. Anywhere we wanted to go was just a 5 minute Uber ride or was walkable. Would definitely recommend!
