This airy, bright and eclectic pad is ideal for those who want to indulge in Savannah's thriving nightlife scene. You'll enter off Montgomery and up the full flight of stairs to The Monty. Leading into the main living space, you will locate a bar to the left to shake up some drinks, and plenty of seating for everyone. Just off of the living room, you'll find a spacious kitchen with every appliance needed for cooking a full meal. The Monty is the home for you if you're looking for a fun place to gather with friends steps from bars and restaurants! When the sun goes down in Savannah, the fun has just begun. Thanks to the lively Savannah nightlife in this area, there are plenty of things to do in Savannah after dark. Grab a plastic “to-go” cup and carry your drink from bar to bar throughout downtown Savannah and River Street! Located just around the corner, The Rail Pub (voted the #1 dive bar in America) is fun spot to start for drinks, live music, and karaoke. Make your way next door to Congress Street Social Club for a beer and late night street food, and finish your night off at Lulu's Chocolate Bar for a sweet treat or dessert cocktail. We can welcome your dog companions at this pet friendly home, but ask that you find other arrangements for cats, birds, and other furry friends. The location is excellent. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The next door cafe is the absolute best. As warned in other reviews, it is loud at night due to street cleaning and other utility traffic. It’s an older property, so the walls and windows are not sufficient to block the sound. That was the only thing preventing a perfect stay. The place is well-maintained, rooms are large, beds are comfortable, everything is clean, clean, clean. If traveling with non-family members, you may wish to know that neither of the bathrooms is en-suite; both are down the hall from bedrooms.

The place was great layout wise, but I had no idea the location of the flat would be right next to a karaoke bar. We stayed Thursday- Sunday and the the bedroom at the back of the flat is practically in the bar next door so you will hear EVERYTHING. Luckily the 2 rooms at the front of the flat were a little better. Don’t book this place for sleep. We had a great time going out and loved the convenience it provided to the bars but there is a trade off for convenience! Also- the TV didn’t work for half the stay and for our last night they installed a Roku system. I was a little upset for how long it took to get the TV working since you have to pay for the management of the booking.

There is downtown Savannah then there’s really really downtown. Close to everything including parking garage. This is our 2nd stay.

We stayed here for a bachelor party weekend and had a great time. The location was perfect and close to many bars and restaurants. Only a 10 minute walk to River Street. Only complaint was one of the bathrooms had a very small shower.

We had a great time and it was nice to be in walking distance if everything. I agree with others about the noise so if you are not there to party and stay out late then this is definitely not the place for you. Bar downstairs was fun though!

The Monty is an excellent location. The apartment was clean and spacious. We will definitely be staying again and always use Lucky Savannah to rent through if possible. Lucky Savannah went above and beyond to help. This was the weekend of Hurricane Ian and they answered every concern.

We had the best time here! Location was perfect and the size was great! It rained for most of our stay, but because we were right next to a bar we were able to have dance parties on the balcony, in jammies… it was the best!

The property was well kept and they brought us a broom so we could clean up some confetti which was nice we didn’t have to go out and buy one. Would definitely rent this one again!

When we went to go check in, there were cockroaches (3) dead on the floor and we found that several other things were not properly cleaned (rugs, countertops, bathroom). We had a hard time working with the front desk to get someone over in a timely manner to properly clean it and it delayed our plans by nearly 4 hours (didn't get to go back in until 6 pm). After much back and forth they finally sent someone to properly clean the place and she was fabulous, but this should have been done prior to check in. The rest of our stay was better after the place had been cleaned and Lucky Savannah did refund us the first night due to the inconvenience which was appreciated.

That being said, other comments about the level of noise are accurate, but that's the price for being so close to everything. Bring earplugs or noise-canceling headphones for sleep but otherwise enjoy the great perch above a fun bar.

Honestly, we absolutely loved our property. The location was perfect and the place itself was so spacious. The ONLY complaint we have was out of control by the property; but worth noting… the noise was mentioned in previous reviews, but we thought it would only be noisy from the bar downstairs and the other bedrooms would not be as noisy. This was definitely not the case- the walls are so thin every conversation held by passerbys, the street sweepers, cars driving by, etc all echoed loudly into the rooms. Definitely not the place to stay if you’re a light sleeper. But if you don’t mind noise, I wouldn’t pass this place up!

I had read this in previous reviews but didn’t take it seriously until we spent 3 nights fighting the LOUD music and street lights. So you’ve been warned. Hopefully the owner makes some changes to help with these issues- solutions... put sound machines in the rooms to help with the loud music and black out curtains on the bedroom windows.

The unit was more than accommodating! Loved the fun vibe of the decor and the spaciousness of the rooms. Only complaint - I assumed parked would be more available. Loading and unloading was a bit of a chore with limited parking. There was good parking fairly close - just be prepared to walk.
I would stay here again and I would definitely recommend this location if you want to be close to it all.

Couldn't ask for better service! There were a couple issues with some minor things (blinds and TP holder) and these were addressed immediately! The place is perfectly located in the middle of everything Savannah. Scenery from our balcony of the Rail Pub was entertaining! I would stay here again, but caution those with stair challenges. The warning that nightlife noise was definitely helpful.
