About this condo rental
Nestled in Barcelona, this charming condo for $218 per night is a great choice for your next break. THIS IS NOT A TOURIST APARTMENT. MINIMUM 31 nights stay. This is the ideal place for medium and long stays at Barcelona. After a full renovation work made with love and passionate dreams, I am happy to offer this brand new apartment. New life in 2015!! It is a big apartment of more than 100m2, with 4 nice bedrooms and 2 comfortable baths. The living room is a big space of 25m2 looking to a huge windows that goes to the little terrace. A big square table with 8 chairs make the dinner moment a great fun to share. All 4 bedrooms are exteriors with nice windows and nice natural light. The apartment has a high standing isolation windows to avoid any noise from outside. Plus the fact of being in a 8th floor, we can assure a total silence in the apartment. Even being in a main avenue as is the Paral.lel avenue. Sweat dreams are guarantee!! jeje... There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds of 200x160 cm, mades by joining 2 single beds of 80x200 cm. Unless you ask for the change, we always prepare this beds as a double bed 160x200. Those main bedrooms have a wooden desk table and chair. There are 2 bedrooms more with beds of 150x200 cm. The apartment has 5 Air conditioner units, 1 in each room (with its own remote control) plus a bigger one in the living. Those units are Mitsubishi best quality, and work also as heaters in winter. All of them are independent. The apartment also has a high standing temperature isolation, and a great air flow in case you prefer the natural refreshing mode. jeje... The living is connected to a nice small terrace with space for a table and 4/5 chairs from where you have great views of the city, from its 8 floors high point of view. From april to september you can enjoy the gorgeous sun in your skin as it goes down to the sunset. The apartment has been rebuild completely in summer 2014, changing old windows for the best soundproofing materials possible to make my place protected from any traffic noise from main road Paral.lel Av.. And you can be relax, we done it great!!! You will sleep like angels... jeje Kids under 3 years old don't pay extra. Olders count as guest. The landlord also provides a baby cot free of charge. Ask for it if you need it. No parties are allowed. The respect to the neighbors is the main concern to us. Please be very respectful. Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but yes in the terrace. But keep it clean, please. EXTRAS: Please note: For arrivals from 20.00hrs to 23.00hrs there is a supplement of 25.00€. This is increased to 40€ if your arrival is after 23.00hrs. This charge is not included in the price quoted below. We request a weekly full cleaning service provided for an external and profesional cleaning company of our trust. It MUST be hire once the booking is confirmed. We will help you with that. It costs 90€+iva although we will be glad to cover more than 30% of it, making the final price for you only 60€ each cleaning service. It includes changing clothes of beds and baths.

We had an excellent stay here. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Kitchen ready for use with all cooking/serve ware. We did alot in the 8 days we were there. Close to many metro stops for our trips to Montserrat and Girona. We walked everywhere else. The neighborhood is lovely. Grocery right below on Paral-lel. Many restaurants. We loved it here and Barcelona in general. Highly recommend.

This place has a great location. Grocery store and plenty of restaurants within a block's reach. A quick walk to two different subway stations, and 15 minute walk to Las Ramblas or Catalunya Plaza. This was a wonderful apartment. It's new, clean and bright and it held our two families of 7 (4 adults and 3 teenage girls) comfortably. Victor and Flor were very helpful and accommodating when half our party arrived earlier in the day. The state of the art windows keep the apartment very quiet at night and the beds are comfortable. There is great access to the subway from the apartment; we used it to get around everywhere. Blai street just 2 blocks away is a great place to people watch, find tasty tapas and tip back a Damm lemon beer or two. The grocery store next door was also handy and the food at the Chinese restaurant across the street was surprisingly quite good. All in all a terrific apartment and location. We would recommend this apartment to friends and would not hesitate to return.

We couldn't have been happier in this clean, well appointed, conveniently located apartment in Barcelona. Flor greeted us at the apartment and made sure all of our questions were answered. She even left us a bottle of wine, some bottled water, and ice cream bars for the kids! We loved how close it is to grocery stores, many pincho bars, and the Metro. We were able to walk or take the Metro to everything! We enjoyed sitting on the patio and air conditioning in every room was fantastic. Great apartment in a central location
Ideal apartment on the 7th floor of a private block. Located on the Avenue del Parallel which is a road with loads of hustle bustle leading down to the port. Loads of restaurants within 500 metres many specialising in Pinchos which are like taster tapas. Spoilt for choice. There is also a large supermarket 10 meters away.
The apartment is very tastefully appointed and very clean. Good view from the balcony albeit a bit noisy due to the road. Although with the windows closed, you can't here any road noise.
Flor was there to meet us and explain everything about the flat. She also gave us some good tips to where to eat.
The apartment was very handy in getting to the Ramblas & old town, only an interesting 15 minute
walk

Great apartment, great location!
Our family of 5 plus a brother-in-law rented this apartment for a full week last week. In terms of the apartment itself, it had all the amenities and everything is new, clean and in good working order. One great feature was that each section of the family got their own room, so there was a place for each person to go for some quiet time. We also loved the balcony and the large dining table where we played cards and ate breakfast. But the most fabulous thing was the location -- near to all the shpos you'll need and a robust but very pleasant walk to either the beach or the Rambla, yet not in the thick of the tourist crowds. We especially liked the fact that the apartment backs onto a mostly pedestrian street with great restaurants and is a few short blocks to the base of Montjuic. Just a great, great trip and Victor and Flor were wonderful to work with.

Great service and brilliant apartment
A family birthday, 3 generations, 7 adults. The apartment was perfect. Clean, bright and had everything you could need supplied. It also was very close to central...15/20 minutes walk, or cheap taxi. The street is parallel to another street with more than 20 tapas bars. Flor also accommodated us by giving us the opportunity to enter early, which made life easy....thank you very much. Maoiliosa

The vacation home was really a home! We didn"t miss anything.
Very nice apartment in very good place. We had three little children with us and we found children's playground near us. Shops and restaurants are close. And the pizzas in Italian restaurant which Victor recommeded were superb! We will definitely come back!

Great, modernized 4 bedroom apartment in a fantastic location
I cannot say enough great things about Victor and Flor, and the apartment.
The apartment itself is a very nicely renovated 4 bedroom apartment in Poble Sec. There are all mod cons and higher end appliances, including A/C in each bedroom and the main sitting area.
The location in Poble Sec gave us the best of several worlds. We had easy access to Las Rambas/Gothic Quarter and could easily get to the beaches, either walking or with the bus out front of the building. Being in a local's neighbourhood also gave us a feel for genuine BCN, and we loved trying out food in the local area. Victor prepared for us an extensive guide to eating and exploring locally and further away. He greeted us at the apartment with water, fresh fruit and a bottle of wine and helped me find weekly parking (the B:SM parkade was a few blocks to the north which cost €70 for the week with unlimited in/outs and use of 22 other parkades throughout BCN).
I would stay here again (perfect for our family of 5: kids ages 10, 12, 14). Thank you Victor and Flor!

Positive experience
We met my son and his family at the apartment to spend time together. The apartment accommodated the 7 -(including three children)of us comfortably. It was clean and everything we needed to prepare food, showers, towels etc. were well thought through and provided. Victor and Flor followed through when we needed something and we were able to rent a wifi which was a godsend when in the town. Shopping was very accessible and there are groceries next to the building as well as down the block. It was a great experience and we left wanting to return to Barcelona to explore more. The neighborhood was good and transportation was close by. We are very satisfied and want to thank Home Away and Victor and Flor.

It was a great holidays at Brand new house
Everything was perfect. The appartment is very comfortable and cosy. I had a felling that I'm the first who live it. The kitchen has full equipment as at home. The owner is very helpfull. First day we were welcome with bottle of wine and strowberrys. He also remember about fresh milk, water and a coffee for the moning :) I spend a great holidays in the heart of Barcelona.

Wonderful tay at Barcelona
We had a wonderful week in this apartment. We were two families: 4 adults and 3 kids. And can say just great things about Victor's place. Everything is new and with nice decoration. Ikea is not here...thanks!! All rooms are nice and big, with really comfortable beds. Very quiet inside, not even traffic noise although it is located over the Paral.lel Avenue. Great sleep. Over all, as families, we enjoyed the nice common spaces like the square table and nice sofas in the living. But also the great kitchen that had all we needed. A good plus for the kids is the big bath.
We enjoyed very much the area of Sant Antoni-Poble Sec! Central place, more than we though when we rented it. Just a short walk to Las Ramblas and to the seaport . And two blocks from subway. It is not crowd of tourist but plenty of tapa bars, terraces on the street, and nice feeling of local life. And near there are few great museums as Miro that we enjoyed a lot.
When we needed any assistance, Victor was quick to respond and very helpful. We will certainly recommend this flat to any friends going to Barcelona, and hopefully we will get to use it again someday!
