NOT a 4-Star Hotel - Dangerous and Filthy

Location

Wooden floors in lobby and breakfast room were broken and buckled so much with waves up to 3-4 centimeters that they were dangerous. Staff did in no way warn customers. Rugs in the rooms and halls were filthy with stains and were also buckled the could trip anyone. Bathrooms were very narrow , only one person could be in them at a time. NOT a 4-Star Hotel. Breakfast staff were inattentive, talking to each other or absent most of the time. Front desk did not provide good answers to questions. “Where is a good Portuguese restaurant?” “The main road to there you will find lots of places to eat.”

Very dirty and dangerous!

Very well located.

The rugs in the hallways and rooms were filthy. Wooden floors were buckled and very dangerous. No parking and WiFi was very slow.

the location is great but if you need to park you can probably only do it at night

the hotel inside seems dirty, the carpets are dirty, it gives a very bad impression. breakfast is so disappointing, I dont even underatand how this hotel can be considered 4 stars, very below expectations

Pleasant

The breakfast was amazing! There was a comfortable.

Terassa was dirty and uncomfortable. The carpet on the floor is tired and with spots.

Very nice and helpful staff. great location right next to all the restaurants and in the city center.

The room wasn’t super clean. There was a fridge in the room but as the staff said “we don’t have working refrigerators”…

Love It!

This is a Quaint Hotel with a Fabulous Breakfast, Friendly Helpful Staff and Cute Rooms-Even had a Rooster Crowing outside! Would stay again!

All staff was very polite and kind. breakfast was super good. And location is also very pleasant

I could not connect to any hotel's wifi with my iphone or macbook. that was really annoying. Room's isolation was not the best, so you would most probably hear your neighbours' voices and any other sounds

Short, comfortable and full of breakfast!

Big rooms with big comfy beds. Very nice location, right next to the monastery which is really cool to see on the doorstep as you’re leaving. Really good breakfast with free pastéis de Belém that you would generally have to queue up for hours to get at the shop. Pleasant and attentive staff. All around one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in!

The only unpleasant things are minimal and mentioned by most people already as I’ve seen, which are the carpet floors in the rooms, the Wi-Fi is complicated to access and doesn’t really work, when it does it’s very slow, and there’re no plugs by the bed.

Great location, basic living but ok.

Rather sparse breakfast. Super location for the sights in Belem.

Stayed 8 nights, elevator out of order the entire stay. Very few guests, but my room was cleaned late, sometimes in the afternoon.

Friendly staff and great location, but overpriced overall

The location and staff was really nice. Also the breakfast was really good.

The bedroom, the hotel is old. Needs renovations, it’s overpriced for the value.

Disappointing in comparison to photos and had no drinking water in my room and nowhere to socialise

The breakfast was excellent, the staff were pleasant and helpful

There was no bar or restaurant and no water in my room, the carpets were grubby possibly due to a prevous flood, making me feel like it was unclean although is was clean

Look for something better .

The location is great.

There's mold in the shower. Lots of stains in the carpet. The mattress was bad, uncomfortable. Lift had coffee on the floor since we arrived till we checked out. Bed sheets covers were thin and low quality. Ac just worked with hot air what made us sleep with an open window. Fire information in the room has written hotel torre when the name is Jerónimos 8. Staff isn't prepared to speak English. At breakfast and reception. In the reception, they talk to you without looking into your eyes or really making you feel welcome.

A good place to stay if you like to be out and about in Lisbon's culture.

Breakfast was good, location was a very good for a cultural experience. The room had all the basics and was well serviced. Comfortable bed and pillows! Get the Lisbon pass for easy transport and access to some attractions

The room lacked character and charm - too minimal for us. There was no restaurant (which I did not note on booking) and the bar was never open (unused). Lack of UK TV channels.

Excellent location. Breakfast had free squeezed orange juice and pastries from Pasteis de Belem.

The shower hose wasn't long enough to be hung up.

Good location, nice look of remodel

Needs a lot of “rethinking” for modern functionality. Examples: No outlets to charge phones near bed Power goes off when you leave room, computer cannot be charged unless you are in the room Wifi did not connect unless I turn tv on and activate it Room key had to be reactivated after first day

Very good

Large bed with great sheet and pillows. Close to all the great attractions of Belem. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

The Aircon in our room didn’t work. we arrived at the property in the afternoon and we couldn’t sit in the room, it was too hot and uncomfortable.

Wasn't super clean Small flies in the room The Internet didn't work in the room and when they moved me to another room the internet was so weak! The hotel is basic and have the basics only

A little disappointing as mentioned above however the staff were very nice and helpful

A more accurate description of the property as their was trouble with the air condition, no wifi in the rooms, no bar open and no patio that was operational. It would've been nice had the website or staff mentioned all this upon arrival.

Location. Just beside Jerónimos.

Cleaness. They gived us a dirty room and with a terrible smell of cigarette smoke.
