Room was spacious, very quiet and had the kind of low level lighting I prefer. Also the bed pillows were good - not over stuffed and uncomfortable for the neck. The shower and bathroom facilities were great - warm water, adjustable shower head, shiny and clean, good water pressure, generous stack of towels, etc. Downstairs the bar, reception and restaurant staff were super friendly and efficient. Nice design features and layout to the whole ground floor space.
The coffee machine at breakfast got a bit confused and sometimes made a lot of noise and steam without producing an actual drink. But its twin sister did the job OK when it couldn't quite manage to pull it off. Nice scrambled eggs and pastry products. Plus the surge time breakfast sessions were expertly managed by duty staff.

The room was better once we had been moved
Booked through Booking.com for twin beds. There are only a few of these rooms and unless you pay extra you are not guaranteed one. Had to have fold out beds put in the rooms. Also the rooms for booking. com were very tatty, I complained about the dirty floor, broken telephone and no lights, at that point the staff moved us.
