Friendly staff and excellent breakfast!

Wifi could be better but was okay.

Very well maintained historical building. The Chef,makes an exceptional,fantastic buffet breakfast. The best I’ve ever had. It made me feel very special. Location perfect. We had top floor with a balcony and beautiful view of straight of Juan de fuca and the Olympic mountains. Would love to visit again.

One of the BEST Breakfast we had in a long long time!! The Staff is amazinggg, everything was soo soo well taken care of. Very comfortable bed. Room was clean and so nice. Such a greatttt find!!! Whenever we visit Victoria, we would only want to stay here. BEST SERVICE , BEST FOOD, BEST AMBIENCE - I would rate the stay 20/10

Breakfast was exquisite! Such a wonderful variety and quality, as well as good hours it was offered. The room was well-furnished and offered the quiet solitude we asked for.

The shower could have been a bigger space, but honestly the tub made up for it!

Perfect place with a lot of interesting things inside, pleasant lawn near hotel, parking lot. Awesome stuff, very friendly! Great breakfast in beautiful dinning room! (Fruits, vegetables, pastries and others). It was very quiet at night!

Staff and location were perfect. The room we had was very well equipped, spacious and lovely and comfortable. looked out on nice garden with outdoor furniture in sheltered alcove. Breakfast was also first class - a real home from home - totally relaxing.

our room was great, it had everything we could need and more. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the breakfasts were excellent and the views were amazing. I highly recommend it and hope to stay there again sometime!

Jeff was so helpful! He took our luggage early and put it in our room so we could go enjoy our day in Victoria, He also prepared a wonderful breakfast spread for us all! He is an excellent chef and host! We will be back for sure!

We booked the room in the heritage hotel to enjoy the ambiance and historic surroundings. We were not given a chance to experience it though because were placed in the basement suite where the maids used to sleep rather than on the main historic building. First thing we saw entering the room was a sink and a kitchen - Home Depot special plus the old Old sofa. The smell of mold was overwhelming. I woke up with a headache next morning. The bathroom featured the soak-in tub in early 1970s style. We lived in a dark and smelly basement for a couple of night. Horrible! Main building looked authentic a lovely but we were deprived of the experience despite paying the full price! We were not given an explanation other than we should have called a hotel directly rather than book it via Booking. com. That was the first for us!

Quiet and comfortable, not too far from downtown. Breakfast was so good, the best I had so far in Victoria.

Needs some updates, the carpet on the top room was a bit of an eyesore. I would also go easy on the fragrance, the smell is quite strong.

Incuded breakfast was excellent with lots of variety including fresh baked goods and fresh fruit as well as variety of eggs, bacon, potatoes etc. Chef friendly and informative.

Bedding could use some updating.

Our room (Nottingham suite) was very large and super clean. The view out the many windows was great and everything worked. Jeff cooked up an excellent breakfast and was super friendly -- as were the other staff. I totally enjoyed the stay there!

The hot water ran out toward the end of filling the giant jet tub, but that's really a small detail. Everything was wonderful.

Beautiful, vintage, historical, charming old mansion with a lovely breakfast buffet every morning and wonderful staff!!! And the location was amazing… close to the ferry and downtown, and a half hour from The Butchart Gardens.

I loved everything!!
