Nice small house in a quiet area. Private parking spot. Wonderful garden to relax. Fatima is a lovely and helpful host.

No AC. But we didn’t need it because of the good weather (not too hot).

Everything was perfect. The house was clean and very well equipped. The owner was extremely nice and friendly, giving us tips on what to do to enjoy the island the most.

When we came the moisture smell was quite bad in the house, but after leaving windows open it was OK. This problem is quite often in Azores so it’s not just this apartment.

Really enjoyed our stay here at Alojamento Local de Santa Catarina. Fatima met us with a warm welcome when we arrived & supplied us with milk, coffee, bread & some yummy cheese to help us get started. Fatima also lives on location & was always available when we needed however she also left us to ourselves & wasn’t intrusive in the slightest. We really enjoyed Fatima’s company. Loved the location as well. Short walk to Riveria beach which we prefer over Vitoria. Vitoria is also a good walking distance or a short drive. We stayed during the festival and were quite pleased to be close enough to enjoy the festival however far enough for some piece & quiet. The location is also Great for exploring which we did a lot of & I would highly recommend while you are there. Around the corner is a Great cafe called Santa Catarina that Fatima recommended & is run by Paula & her family & it was some of the best food we had during our trip. Our party consisted of myself, my wife & our 2 children & we really couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thanks again Fatima for your kindness & hospitality & looking forward to returning in the near future.

Good location, clean house with everything that you need. There was also a garden with a table and bench and a parking spot. We were provided with towels free of charge (even beach towels). The host was very friendly, she gave us some local products like cheese, milk, bread and butter to try. She also gave us recommendations for restaurants, good spots around the island and local manifestations.

Lovely clean place in nice friendly village. Very good kitchen. lovely local restaurant 20 meters away.

Fatima is an exceptional host: she took care of everything we needed. The apartment is fully equipped: you'll feel at home and you'll find all you need, from cooking to cleaning. The flat is very nice, and we could use the garden for our apertifs. Deeply recommended.

The main road is a little bit noisy. We found some bugs in the evening: nothing to be afraid of :-)

The alojamento have the nespresso coffee!
