Located in Wrightsville Beach, this lovely house for $525 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. ***On August 15, 2023, construction of a neighboring residence is slated to begin. This work may have an impact on noise levels in the vicinity. The town of Wrightsville Beach has an ordinance which prohibits work beginning before 8:00 am, although the workforce may arrive on-site before 8:00am. For updates, please contact our office directly. *** Our “Crane” property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and is a fabulous 4-bedroom, 4 -bathroom single family home that is just a few steps from the beach. This charming bungalow could be the perfect destination for your next Wrightsville Beach family vacation! The entry to the home is a spacious foyer decorated with traditional beach colors that incorporate blue hues of the beautiful natural landscape. There is a door that allows guests to access the garage and storage area, and a staircase that leads to the main floor. As you top the staircase a wall of windows awaits a panoramic view of the ocean that will relax and excite you at the same time. This home has been lovingly maintained and furnished for comfort with a touch of European flair. To the left of the stairs, is a dining room that can seat six people, making it easy to go from a buffet to a family dinner to a dinner party with ease. Located off the dining room is an updated kitchen with white cabinetry, granite countertops with a raised bar and seating for four. At the rear of the kitchen there is additional bar seating for two and a cozy breakfast nook seating for six guests. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, offering a choice of an automatic drip coffee machine or a Keurig to jump start your day. To the right of the staircase is an inviting living room with an abundance of natural light, seating, and a flat screen tv for your viewing pleasure. Moving back towards the front of the house, there is a full bathroom with tub/shower combination and acts as a walk through to a bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a sitting area perfect for reading. Next to that is the laundry room, which has a full-sized washer and dryer, utility sink and comes equipped with an ironing board and iron. At the front of the house, the spacious master suite features a king-sized bed and a seating area, where you can prop up your feet and reflect on the day. Adjacent to the master bedroom is the master bathroom complete with walk in closet and a stand-up shower. The second floor of this amazing family home has a skylight that showers the hallway in natural light. This floor consists of two bedrooms which are anchored at the front and rear of the house and separated by a modified jack-n-jill bathroom. The bedroom at the back of the house overlooks the ocean and has two twin beds and a private deck where a cup of coffee will help you welcome the day. The front room has one queen bed and one twin bed, perfect for children, as there is no exterior egress. Located off the main floor living room is a large, covered deck which maximizes the outdoor living space that this home offers. You and your family can enjoy an evening card or board game at one of the outdoor tables or spend a lazy afternoon in the hammock reading a book or napping the afternoon away. There is access from the deck to the private back yard where the children can play while you tap into your inner “Bobby Flay” at the barbeque grill. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower and hose to wash the day away. Occupancy: 9 Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in Summer. Minimum of two night stay other seasons. Bedding Configuration: 1 King, 2 Queen, 3 Twin. Parking: Parking for 4-5 cars in the garage and driveway. Pet Policy: Pets not allowed. This property is in a wonderful location. It offers and incredible view of the ocean. The kitchen and furnishings are adequate. However the walls looked like they had not been painted in years. Some of the furnishings were rather worn. A bathroom vent had significant mold. Could be an excellent rental if given some attention.

Management was helpful. House was clean. The new doors and windows were very nice. The one big issue we had was the double bed in the downstairs bedroom is TERRIBLY SQUEAKY. The couple that stayed there were not comfortable. As hosts we felt badly. Also the double bed upstairs needs a new mattress. A couple of new mattresses and a new bed frame would be greatly appreciated. It may be a deal breaker for our staying there next year. We try to treat the house as we would treat our own. We are careful with everything, We clean up each day. We keep sand out. I organized the very disorganized kitchen when we were there. I called the management to see if they would provide a utility broom so I could clean out the basement area and I was told to use the kitchen broom. Also there were no TV instructions which can be frustrating.

from the first day we arrived we had problems with the unit. We arrived on Sunday and the AC was not working. Property Management sent over a tech but he was unable to fix, stated the whole system needs replaced, and he had to call a HVAC Tech. The tech increased the fan speed and said system had a leak. it was only a temp fix. 4 days later we were without ac again. Cable in 2nd floor bedroom didn't work, spectrum had to send out a new box. Arrived after we left. Back doesn't have a track and it difficult to open. 2nd floor tub has a clog and drains slowly.

Getting the keys package and returning them from Bryant Realty was exceptionally smooth and easy.
Great premium location on Wrightsville Beach. Very spacious house with easy access to the beach, right down the back stairs off the deck and up a short path. Space for 4-6 cars with 3-4 in a garage. Great covered main level deck with privacy from the beach because of the sand dunes, exceptional kitchen, very well appointed. Close to food shopping at Harris Teeter, and some nice restaurants, South Beech Grill and Blue Water Grill. Great seafood can be purchased to cook at Motts Channel Seafood, what a great store. Outstanding key lime pie sold there too!
The main level deck has plenty of chairs and a nice hammock, enjoyed by all at one point or another. The beach behind the house has good waves for surfing and body boarding but should be done with caution as rip tides can be present, and if windy it can be very rough. The upper-level deck is not covered but has a magnificent view of the beach but can be very hot.
The main living and dining areas are great, spacious open concept. ……why only 4 stars….
The furniture is dated and needs a good cleaning (there was dried catchup on a couch cushion), the rugs going up the stairs and on level 3 are very worn and stained and many of the walls are marked up. The house was clean but could have been cleaner, found a mask between furniture in the living room, 3rd level shower has very poor lighting and there were dead bugs on the floor of the shower. The furniture on the deck needs new cushions and some of the chairs on the deck are in rough shape. The water was not turned on to the outdoor hose or the outdoor shower outback, we went through the garage but could not see how to turn it on, it should have been on already. It would be nice if beach chairs were provided as we flew in and could not bring our own.
The top 2 bad….
1. Grill- There is a grill shell under the deck that looks like it was used for target practice by the Battleship NC, it’s an eye sore and gross, throw it out….the “working grill” was covered by a disgusting grill cover, and the 3 burners of this very cheap grill did not function, 1 burner did not work at all and the 2nd and 3rd only lit half way, it was dirty, and we could not use it. A beach house at this price should have a nice functioning grill. It was very disappointing not to have one available.

We had a wonderful week at this rental. Great location to the beach and perfect size house for our group (3 couples and 2 kids). Floor plan was convenient and spacious, although the kids room had the balcony on the 3rd floor. I would have preferred the twins be swapped with the queen room upstairs for safety and to utilize the balcony. Beds were not the most comfortable, but I would definitely recommend.

Lovely Oceanfront Property
We had a wonderful week at this rental. Great location to the beach and perfect size house for our group (3 couples and 2 kids). Floor plan was convenient and spacious, although the kids room had the balcony on the 3rd floor. I would have preferred the twins be swapped with the queen room upstairs for safety and to utilize the balcony. Beds were not the most comfortable, but I would definitely recommend.

Every aspect of our stay at 12 Crane was truly wonderful, from beginning to end. The home is filled with natural light, is very spacious, and has a happy vibe. The street is quiet (there is no public parking), and the the views are breathtaking. The hammock on the main deck offers a peaceful retreat and both decks have ample room from which to enjoy the beach. We rarely went down to the beach except to walk because the decks provided the same experience without the sand. The house was well furnished with everything we needed and lots of extras. Haley and Steve at R Bryant were wonderful to work with from start to finish and were extremely responsive. After checking out I received a call from R Bryant that the cleaning people had found cash that I had stashed in a closet and they wanted to return it to me - a solid, trustworthy company for sure. My only hesitance in writing this review is the fear that the home will no longer be available when we'd like to rent it!

We had never been to Wrightsville Beach and really enjoyed the area. Also, the staff at Bryant was responsive and pleasant each time I called. The house itself was in a great location but very dated with rust on some of the fixtures (especially in the bathrooms), etc. While we would visit the area again, we would not stay in this house.

We loved the view and extensive porches overlooking the beach. Really great floor plan! A huge downside is that the beds were terrible. One even had some support under it so it stayed up and didn't fall to the floor. Another was so hard that we had to use pillows under us to be able to sleep. We would like to stay here again but the beds were so bad I don't know that we could do it. I am surprised with the price of the home that the sellers hasn't done any upgrades in a really long time. Baths were dated with really low toilets. Risk of overflowing. The HVAC also leaked a lot of water into the garage. I heard from other reviews that this happened to them. Warning: Anyone with small children; the kids bedroom is upstairs with a sliding door and a balcony overlooking the beach. As a parent that would make me nervous. This room should have been furnished for the parents. Amazing views! Again, we love this place but wish the sellers would put some money into it to make the beds liveable and fix the little frustrations like the screen door falling off every time we would walk out, etc. Despite it all, we had a very nice weekend with great memories and also laughs about putting up with the beds and bedroom arrangements. The view and porches make this overall review higher.

Our family vacation was wonderful this year. With Covid issues around the world & a hurricane the week before our arrival, it definitely was touch and go before we knew the Realtor said the house was ready! Great news. The house was in perfect condition. Everything in its place. Decorating beachie through out the home. I loved the open floor place with all the views of the ocean. The hammock was our go to spot after a warm sunny day at the beach. The house comes with sheets and towels for every bedroom wrapped in plastic wrap. The house has an outdoor shower to rinse off the sandy beach day. The house has a new gas bbq, three cars can park under house in garage and driveway can hold three more cars if you are a large family. The top deck is wonderful for looking up at the stars. That particular night, we saw a meteor shower. This house is definitely upscale. The kitchen and dining room were gorgeous. House is great - well stocked and great location. We arrived 1 hour early in the rain, during the pandemic with a 2 year old and The agents would not help or accommodate us in any way. We had to sit in our car in the pouring rain with our toddler crying until check in time even though the house was clean and vacant.

Nice House, great location, Furniture and Carpet Needs Replaced
Great location, loved the front porch with hammock. My initial reaction to the carpet and the furniture in the living room was that it looked dirty and needs replaced. Eventually we got used to it and did sit on it some. The upstairs didn't feel inviting to sleep in but it ended up being ok. Would be nice to have a fresh coat of paint an carpet replaced.

When we arrived, the kitchen sink had fallen away from counters so I could fit my hand between sink and counter. They put wood braces under sink to hold it up. The smaller master is in desperate need of updating. The bathroom wallpaper is peeling off, there is a smell of urine that seems is not purely a lack of cleaning, but maybe in the grout, and the dresser has drawers that fall completely out, which is extremely dangerous. The rugs are stained.
This house could be so much better with some fresh paint and a few new pieces of furniture.

Overall the property is in a great location; HOWEVER we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and general shape of the property. We found several cockroaches in the house during our stay and had to call property management to address the issue. When we emailed them, the maintenance responder didn’t apologize and asked us how to solve the problem. We also had to wash about 80% of all dishes and cups prior to use because there was visible scum, which in this day and age with COVID is not a comforting fact. The owner of the house needs to take some pride in updating furniture and decor throughout the house. Most bedding looked original to build and everything just felt tired and very worn. Finally, there is so much wear and tear on baseboards, walls, and wallpaper thats flaking and yellowed, along with carpet that has been abused by years and years of renters, that you just felt dirty in certain sections of the house. This has the potential to be a great house, but it needs some serious investment from owners and property managers. As a courtesy, I am also planning to post this review to VRBO as well.

Beach getaway vacation!
12 crane couldn’t be in a better location- steps from the beach very large living space and two separate dining areas. Bryant Realty was very responsive to all calls and questions. Would rent this home again in a minute. Only complaints would be the dinner plates were mostly chipped and there was a chair in the main living space that was very dirty. Other than that loved the house!
