We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Nori. The location is perfect, right next to the port, with plenty of restaurants and cafés within walking distance. What we loved most was that the area felt much less touristy, so we got to experience a more authentic side of Italy. Some of our favorite moments were simply sitting on the balcony with a beer, watching local life go by.
This is the kind of place that’s best enjoyed at a slow pace. Some evenings we went out for dinner nearby, and other nights we picked up takeaway and enjoyed it on the balcony while watching the sunset. The sunsets were absolutely stunning.
Filemona was an amazing host. She was always just a WhatsApp message away, incredibly responsive, and happy to help whenever we needed anything.

No need to wakeup early for your ferry to Amalfi coast, the place is right in front of the Piano di sorrento docking point. Filomena was very helpful and responsive, even got my ferry tickets sorted. Also don't forget to take the $10 Breakfast, it's absolutely worth it.

Accommodation was wonderful. Filomena is an excellent host. Accommodated all our questions and really helpful. It does have a number of stairs particularly if you're at the top apartment. It is a really quiet small part of Sorrento that is great to be in if you want to be out of the bustle of the main area. Great little village, lovely restaurant and boutique wine bar and cafes. It had a wharf to catch the ferry to Amalfi and Positano which was great. really friendly people and helpful. is a little out of Sorrento so you have to get to di Piano Sorrento station which is 2 stops from main Sorrento.
It's not that we didn't like it (should have done some more research) but it is a little out of Sorrento so you have to get to di Piano Sorrento station which is 2 stops from main Sorrento. It's at the bottom of the cliff so you either take the lift down (only daylight hours and easy to find on google maps) which is a little walk from the station, or catch a taxi which is quite expensive. there is a shuttle from one of the piazzas short walk from the train station which is much cheaper, ask the host for details. However, much cheaper than staying in main Sorrento and less crowded.
