Room was clean, in tipical Bavarian style, but updated (renovated).
Hitel has a bug parking lot and it also offers bicycles for guests that want to cycle in the german country side.
Breakfast was tasty.
The restaurant was closed. I was hoping to have dinner at the hotel, as it had great reviews online for food.

Close to the 2 castles, which is nice if you want to stay outside of Fussen.
Castle park property maybe 15 minutes or so away. Car parking at the property is a huge plus.
Nice countryside to take in with rolling hills and open green fields surrounding the hotel.
Great other beer garden/restaurant available to stop at on the way to/from the castles off the main road the hotel sits on. Just be aware of flies buzzing around while you eat etc.
No AC or fans in the room. The room we stayed in baked during the day while you’re out, which if you left windows open flies and mosquitos for the remainder of your night was a huge problem when attempting to sleep.
Predominantly non-English speaking staff, which can be challenging after a long day at the castles to attempt to simply unwind etc.
