Lovely country pub. Room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are what makes the experience memorable- everyone was friendly, efficient and helpful. Not the cheapest place we’ve stayed in but certainly value for money.

Well-located for the event we were attending. The breakfast was totally to order at a time of our choice.
The food was good.
Really terrible coffee....very, very weak. Portions extremely large. We shared a main on our second night and it was still too big, even when divided between us.

Produce was lovely but staff not so good. Felt like they wanted us to get out quickly. Didn’t have cups & saucers, spoon for cereal, forgot our toast. Had to keep a fling for things not attentive at all!
