About this house rental
Situated in Topsail Beach, this lovely house for $400 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Welcome to the "Gough Club"!! This 2200 sq/ft home built in 2018 has the best of both worlds! Direct beach access one block away at the end of the road, and sound fishing area only a half of a block in the other direction! The interior is beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen. Come unpack your luggage, put your toes in the sand and unwind and enjoy your family and friends. The house offers a reverse floor plan home with water views from every window and deck on the top floor. Enter the house by the ground floor foyer or by the exterior stairs that lead to every floor. The first floor features a Master Bedroom with a comfortable King Bed and Private Master Bath with walk-in shower and double sink. This floor also features a Queen Bedroom with Flat screen TV. There is also a Bunk Bed room with a Twin over Twin Bed and a Twin over Double Futon. The shared Hallway Bath features a subway tiled tub. The second floor features an open floor plan with Living Room, Kitchen, Full Bathroom and a fourth Bedroom. The Living Room features vaulted ceiling, ceiling fan, Smart TV with Bluray player. (connect to your Netflix account). The Kitchen features granite countertops with stainless steel appliances and a coffee bar area. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths Maximum Occupancy: 10 people. Great Family Vacation rental, not a party house. (Families and Groups over the age of 25 welcome)( We may request copy of Drivers Liscense for non-family parties) BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS OR RENT LOCALLY Central heat & air, ceiling fans in almost every room. Dishwasher, washer/dryer. 4 Flat screen TVs, DVD player, wireless high speed internet Uncovered and Covered deck areas Charcoal grill available NO PETS ALLOWED ( Right to cancel and apply $500 fee is pets are discovered on property) NO SMOKING ( Right to cancel and apply $500 fee if smoking is discovered on property) Seven day rental (Saturday to Saturday) required in peak summer season Partial weeks ( 3 day minimum) available in Off-Season Fees: Taxes (NC Sales Tax 6.75%)+ (6% Local Accommodation Tax) Cleaning fee ( $175.00) and Renters Insurance are extra. Check in : 4:00PM Check out: 10:00 AM On Departure please have all dishes clean and put away, garbage removed from the house and placed to the street. Trash Days are Wednesday and Fridays. *Outside of house is under video surveillance.

We have stayed here the last two years for vacation and we love this beautiful home! It’s spacious, stocked with anything and everything you could need, clean, and in a great location to the beach and the inlet! The owners are wonderful to work with and always helpful for any problems or questions. We can’t wait for our next trip!

We loved this property
This was a great rental property. It was beautiful, was stocked better than any rental I’ve ever stayed in and the layout was perfect for a couple of families. Like all places in Topsail, there were a lot of stairs, so be aware of how physically demanding these houses on risers are if you’re traveling with seniors. Some high points for this property: it’s equal distance to the ocean and bayside beaches and you never felt crowded at all; the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were well appointed; it has an AWESOME outdoor shower and places to wash off your feet and chairs and hang towels outside; the front decks get shade and breeze all afternoon; they have some pretty fun boardgames at the house that both children and adults enjoyed (we highly recommend Smart Ass); and the owner was very helpful and responsive. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and will go back again in the future!

Perfect Getaway
We’ve stayed at the Gough house twice now and will return again. The house is beautiful, spacious and located within a short walking distance to the beach. This is the perfect place to kick back and relax and enjoy a great time with your family!

Most amazing week!
We travel a lot, have done quite a number of VRBOs over the years and this by far was one of the best. The house was so well taken care of, stocked with everything like it was your own home, amazing location between beach and sound for options when you have little kids and owner was so available and responsive. We will definitely be back to this area and will look to rent this house again, thank you Pat!

Wonderful beach house at Topsail!
We loved our stay here at Topsail! The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and included a very well stocked kitchen. Location is perfect just between the sound and the ocean. Check-in was super easy and property manager was great about communication. Highly recommend!

Our Second Visit
Our second visit to this property was just as amazing as our first. We love the location at the south end of the island. The house is well-stocked and perfect for our families. We love the easy access to the beach and sound. We also enjoy our boat in the sound, and while there isn't a boat dock, there is easy access to the marina just a few miles away. Topsail Beach is wonderful secret that we were happy to discover! Pat is great to work with and very quick to answer with questions. Highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Pat’s property. The location is wonderfully located near the beach and waterway. The house is fully stocked in all the things you could possibly need for vacation. The beds were very comfortable as well. Pat was very easy to communicate with and was very gracious to work with us to return something we left. This house is in great condition and we would love to stay again!

Why didn’t we know about Topsail Beach?
We loved every moment of our vacation at the Gough Club and Topsail Beach. The house itself was perfect for our two families. The kitchen may have been the most well stocked that we have experienced. The location is the best thing about the house. The ability to go to the sound side beach or the ocean was perfect especially on days with a strong current at the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. It is a bit of a distance to restaurants and stores but that was exactly what we were looking for this year. We are already planning our trip back to Topsail!

Excellent property. If you like to cook while on vacation you will find the kitchen has everything you will need. The owners were very quick to answer any questions we had. There was about a two block walk to the beach access but the walk was well worth it as the beach was beautiful.

Family Beach Week
My husband and I and 3 out of our 4 adult "kids" and their spouses and 2 granddaughters (1 and 3) enjoyed a wonderful week together in this beautiful home. The house is spacious and fit our family very well! The beach is just a short walk from the house and in early June, it felt like we had a semi-private beach!! The kitchen was well supplied and our family enjoyed several fun meals there!! The house is beautifully appointed but yet very family friendly. When we first walked in the house, it smelled so clean and new!! We would love to rent this house again!!!

Beautiful vacation home in a quiet spot
We decided on a last-minute getaway over Spring Break and are so glad we had a chance to stay at The Gough Club. The accommodations were spacious and very, very clean. The house is tastefully decorated with comfort, functionality, and simplicity in mind. We found everything we needed in the well-appointed kitchen for preparing our meals, and the large farmhouse table was a great gathering space to enjoy them together. The house has two lovely decks, and the upper one with views of both the beach and the ICW. We found the top deck to be the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail. We liked that the reverse floorplan provided oppotunities for both privacy and family time. Along with the kitchen/dining and great room, there is a bed and bath on the top floor. Three more bedrooms and bathrooms, including the master suite, as well as the laundry facility, are on the middle floor. We enjoyed the sun and sand at the beach which is a short, 2-minute walk away, and kayaking on the ICW the same distance in the other direction. If you're looking for a quiet vacation spot away from the hustle and bustle of the typical touristy beach scene, this family home is the perfect spot!
