Wonderful quiet weekend with our dog

Generally very disappointed with the standard of accommodation.

The premises are in a good location on North Stradbroke Island and, whilst the accommodation was reasonable it was in a poor state of cleanliness.

As mentioned the cleanliness of the accommodation was not up to standard. There were cobwebs in some bedrooms. Some pillows were badly sweat stained and one blanket was threadbare as were some cushions on the deck furniture. The main complaint was in respect of the barbecue provided which was completely inoperable due to not having been cleaned for many weeks, if not months, such that the gas would not come through and the ignition was blocked. Similarly the oven had obviously not been cleaned for many weeks and had built up fat and grime on the door and racks. The pots and pans were also in a disgusting condition. Also two down pipes on the top deck had rusted away from the gutter.

Good position and good outlook. Plenty of room. But needs a spring clean . Ie: screens windows cleaned and repaired. no screens on some windows meant early morning and evening mosquitoes were a problem. A couple of screen doors need repair. . Door locks were very difficult to reopen with the key. Outdoor couch furniture and downstairs deck furniture very well worn. Not enough seating for 8 people for indoor so needed to share seating . It was not major things . Overall good stay for large groups and families
