The location is amazing. Close to Exhibition Square which is a major bus stop. Close to the Minster. Most things in walking distance. Lots of pubs and food close by. There were two bathrooms with showers and toilets. There was a double bed and a sofa bed so we could have separate rooms. The kitchen had all the basics so easy to make snacks and coffee. Towels and bedding are provided as expected but important for travellers to know. Also toilet rolls and hand soap in bathroom. There is wifi. There is a TV.
The bathrooms need a shelf. The steps down to the property really really need a hand rail. All the other basements have one. The top step is particularly difficult to manage. A hand rail would mean elderly and mobility impaired would not find it difficult. There is no mobile phone signal indoors but probably because it is a basement - it works as soon as you go outside.

The location was ideal for all of Yorks attractions. The main bedroom was lovely.
The main bathroom had quite a bad damp smell as there is no window. We had everything we needed in the apartment but it wasn't very well cleaned. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable & my back was so sore after sleeping on it. The sheets provided for the sofa bed were ripped and the throws had stains on them. The main bedroom was lovely and the bathroom was fine in there but no tv in the room. The kitchen was well equipped.
