We booked this place for 2 nights when we first arrived in Sri Lanka, before making our way somewhere else. The room was clean, the AC was working well, and the bathroom was perfectly fine. Everything looked just like in the photos. It’s a lovely family-run place.
Alexis was very helpful and organised an airport transfer for us. He was also always contactable whenever we needed anything and patiently answered all my questions.
One small downside: the hostel is located right next to a cemetery, which we didn’t realise when booking as I hadn’t checked the location properly. It was a little spooky! 😄

The Guesthouse is perfectly located: close to the beach and mainstreet, but far away enough from the traffic to offer a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
The Alexi's Family is extremely (!) nice and helpful. They try to cater everything to your needs and help you with planning your tour across the country, airport transfers, restaurant recommendations and everything else you might need.
It was the perfect place to arrive after a long flight and I'll surely come back for my last night in Sri Lanka as well.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Alexis is a really nice host and helped us with our journey and all our questions! The room was really nice and had everything you needed. It’s a quick walk to the ocean and there’s a really nice church nearby
