This is a lovely apartment that is well kept, lovingly decorated and in a great location (so close to the Northern line tube). The only complaint is that like many old houses, you can hear people talking and walking around above you. But if that doesn't bother you, this is a great place.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Simon‘s apartment. It is conveniently located near a tube station. There are several convenience stores nearby. The apartment was high quality and well furnished and had all the necessary features. We would definitely stay here again.

Where do I begin? We loved our stay at this property. It was so convenient and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. There are black out shades. The decor is beautiful and homey. We loved being away from the hustle of London but only 15 minutes away by train. The neighborhood has delicious cafes and restaurants. There’s a convenience store a block away. We bought water and wine here. It felt safe. Communication was perfect. I would definitely stay here again! It was wonderful!

Simon provides a comfortable and well fitted out apartment close to both buses and the Tube. The apartment was quiet and we were grateful of being able to use the washing machine. The shower was great.

The property is clean, beautifully decorated, and in a quiet, safe area. We did a lot of exploring during our time and it was so nice to be able to come back to somewhere not so hectic. Traveling the train line from oir flat was easy! Simon was also a wonderful host and very prompt in any communication that we had!

The roomiest, reasonably priced, VRBO we’ve stayed in when in London. Quiet residential neighborhood; 5 minute walk to Kennington tube (Northern line); very responsive owners (Simon and David) to any of our queries. We’ll definitely try and book, hopefully for a little longer than our initial stay, our next time in London.

We were surprised how lovely the studio/flat was. Beautifully appointed with an eye to detail. Everything we needed, so comfy. Light, quiet, secure. Very nice neighbourhood, really close to the station. The steps down from the street were a little tricky with a suitcase but we knew to expect that.

The apartment was bright, clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Perfect kitchen with all one could need to cook a meal. Nice bathroom and shower. We loved the towel warmer! The bed was cozy and fresh. The location is perfect for jumping on the tube or bus to get anywhere in London. There are Lime bikes parked nearby also for easy rental. It is walking distance to a big park and some great bakeries, pubs and dining options. Our host, Simon, was kind and attentive and welcomed us with a nice bottle of sparkling to celebrate our 35 year anniversary, 60 bday, and upcoming retirement. Thank you for a wonderful experience to start off our UK adventure!

The place was very tasteful, and the host was very responsive. It's just a hop to the nearest tube station, and there are enough stores around if you wanted to pick up something to prepare at the house. There's a big park at one end of the street, but we didn't have time to explore it. We had no issues while we stayed here, and look forward to doing so again.

We loved our stay in this cozy apartment! It’s so conveniently located! We walked into central London and also had great access to the tube. There’s a very good cafe (Brickwood Coffee & Bread) walking distance too - you have to try their grilled banana bread! Would definitely stay here again!

This review is assuming that you are staying here primarily to sleep and you will be out most of the day enjoying the sights of London. If so, this is perfect and I definitely recommend it. It is about a 2 minute walk to Kenington tube station, which is on the Northern Line. Easy to get anywhere you want. We didn't use the kitchen so can't comment. The bed is comfortable as are the pillows. There are 2 chairs to sit in by the bed, which are functional. You can hear the tube from inside the flat but I didn't find it bothersome. The owner is very pleasant and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay in this flat. It was very comfortable and clean and Simon was very communicative and friendly. We loved how close it was to the tube along with grocery stores and restaurants. I would not hesitate to recommend this flat and would definitely consider staying here on future visits. There is some noise from the tube, but it’s minor so after a bit you don’t even notice it. I just wish we were staying for longer!

What a very special place this is. Situated so close to the tube and so very central. Simon is so very nice and helpful. Place is picture perfect and spotless! Well equipped kitchen, good facilities and very comfortable bed!! I’d definitely recommend this little gem to anyone visiting London..

I really enjoyed staying here. Excellent access to transit, in an eminently walkable neighborhood. Quiet, safe. Lovely touches made the stay pleasant - I’d go back anytime! Simon was pleasant and helpful - and maintained a beautiful little garden visible out the kitchen window. Idyllic.

There’s something special about getting to experience a neighborhood away from the hustle & bustle of the city while on vacation and Kennington does not disappoint. Walkable with pubs, cafes & parks but with quick & easy access to London via the Underground at the end of the block. So convenient, affordable, and easy to navigate that we often came back to the flat in the afternoon to rest before heading back to the city later for more fun. The flat was just perfect for the two of us and Simon was accessible when needed. Everything was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Highly recommend. Don’t forget to ‘mind your head and mind the gap’! :)

What a completely wonderful experience from beginning to end. Location is very near to the Underground and walk-able to many restaurants. In fact we walked to most everything we did. The flat was very clean and had everything needed to make our 5 days/4 nights most pleasant. The bed was 5-star comfortable! Despite some issue for both host and client we found this fall to be fabulous! So charming on a quiet street just steps to Kennington tube. Could not ask for a better place to stay and Simon was so very kind and gracious. Totally recommend this flat with 5 stars!

Fabulous location a block from Northern Line Tube that gets you into city center and any other line you could want within a couple of stops. And over about a dozen Northern Line rides I don't think we ever waited more than two minutes, en route to Emirates Stadium (Arsenal), Baker Street, Wembley, Wimbledon, Shakespeare's Globe and more, Some of the other lines had more waits...so the point is that Simon's flat gets you to the action really quickly. The flat itself was great, with a comfortable double bed and totally functional kitchen. We ate in the flat for about half the meals after easy walk to Tesco. It was also nice to have a separate room as the sleeping hours of my son and I were not prefectly aligned. Many walkable restaurant options as well, along with the Oval cricket grounds, Beefeater distillery, Vauxhall Gardens and more. I would definitely stay again if traveling alone or with just one other person.
