The kitchen was well stocked with large fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, stovetop & oven-/microwave. Milk, tea, coffee, sugar, shampoo etc provided & good towels. Good pans, crockery, glasses, cups etc
Tv was Netflix only, do need to log in or sign up.
Bed comfy enough. Lots of storage for clothes etc. ironing board & iron.
Staff very pleasant.
We upgraded to a 1 bed apartment. The 1st room offered had 1 armchair - and we were 2. We accepted another room with a sofa but it was very disappointing, dark & anything but like the room offered in the hotel photographs - see comparison photos below. - 1 is what we got, 2 & 3 are what is advertised. Turns out the hotel only has 2 apartments like the good ones, all the rest are like the one we got or even worse, the first room offered was tiny with an armchair for 1
Bedding was good but pillows were very lumpy hollowfibre - totally unexpected & disappointing for a very expensive hotel of supposed quality.
Our room had an accessible bathroom with shower. But the basin was tiny with no shelves or space to put personal items. The shower curtains were far too narrow so any wheelchair user who transferred to the shower would find it extremely difficult to not have a drenched wheelchair - the curtains needed to be twice as wide & longer. As it was the room instantly flooded drenching everything which had to be placed on the floor - shoes, clothes, etc.
typical poor accessible service that was not up to scratch even for the relatively able-bodied.

Felt so spacious compared to Lpnfon’s std hotel room. Able to use kitchenette for quick breakfasts
Comfortable place to unwind after spending all day site seeing
Shower enclosure or, more accurately, the lack of one made it hard to keep bathroom reasonably dry.
Not a huge issue but it should be improved upon

The property was in a very central location. Super close to the river and Borough Market. The air conditioning worked very well.
It was dirty. The room had two bathrooms, and one smelled quite bad. That bathroom that smelled bad had the entire drain cover from the shower removed - we suspect the smell came from there.
