The room was beautiful, high up in the sky with absolutely fantastic views across London. Just walking in to the room and watching the blinds raise to reveal the view was incredible. The room was extremely well-appointed, with everything you could think of in there for you. The staff were also absolutely incredible, very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The nightly turn-down service was a lovely touch, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would love to return again one day!
Leaving! I wish we could have stayed for longer, but hopefully we will be able to return one day and experience the Shangri-La London again!

…..obvs the city view, the breakfast, size of room and its serene calmness
They add a 5% optional service charge to the bill that they will remove if asked but this ‘emotional blackmail’ approach should be ended. Poor form and it is added to all the bill including gratuities you may have already added to meals. If they aren’t paying the staff well enough out of the £1,000+ bill they should be reflecting on the way they treat the staff.
