This was the nicest home we have rented on MV, or possibly anywhere. The house is clean, conveniently located, and spacious, with plenty of seating and room for the kids to safely romp around. The kitchen had nice appliances and all the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. The beds were also very comfortable. Host was responsive, and reached out in advance of our arrival to make sure everything was all set - a nice touch. Would not hesitate to rent here again!

Our group of 10 fit very comfortably in this large and welcoming home. The location was convenient to easily go out exploring and the heated pool made this property lovely to stay in as well. Sue was very easy to communicate with and you can tell the home is well cared for. Will definitely return in the future!

We had a great week despite rainy weather all thanks to this amazing property. Our kids spent hours in the pool, while we enjoyed all the outdoor amenities. The rec room with ping pong table provided indoor options for entertainment. The house more than comfortably fit 10 of us. The host was responsive and extremely helpful both prior and during our trip.

This home was perfect for our group. The owner is wonderful- checking in on us to see how things were going. Check-in was a breeze. The house is also well provisioned including bikes and kayaks. The pool had lots of floaties and was a perfect temperature! Would definitely stay there again.

This house was clean and spacious. It is in a wonderful location in Edgartown as well. The pictures in the listing do not do it justice! I highly recommend staying at this house and look forward to renting it again ourselves!

Amazing and Comfortable House!
We stayed in Sue's house for my 35th birthday with a group of 10 friends and family. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Sue was a great host. She checked up on us and made sure everything was running smoothly. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

Perfect house for our family vacation
This is an extremely spacious house for our two families, total of 9 people, adults and children. Each bedroom had extra space to spread out; all beds have mattress toppers; plus closet and drawers if needed in each room.
Kitchen was huge and fully equipped. We found it hard to buy takeouts during Easter weekend so we ended up getting grocery at Stop and Shop and cooking all our meals.
Location was great for us to bike out every day for 2 to 4 hours. Loved the biking trails at Martha’s Vineyard, best paved and safe paths for biking. (We brought our own bikes.)
We couldn’t ask for anything more at Sue’s house. We wished we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy more amenities of the house but we only planned to stay 4 nights. Kayaks were fun but it was too cold in April!
If we ever come back to MV, we will definitely look to rent the same house. Sue is a very attentive host and informed us of all the details prior to our stay. She has cleaners who kept the house spotless.

A perfect home for our family
This house was great for our family of 9 to spend some quality time together. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and not feel like we were on top of each other. The outdoor area with the pool, fire pit, grill and tables was definitely our favorite part. We would certainly come back again!

Perfect for my entire family of 6 adults, 3 adolescents and my toddler. Heated pool was a hit, the location was great, and the property had a lovely open concept and plenty of amenities to keep us entertained while we were relaxing after days tooting around the island. Will be back for sure.

Wonderful spacious house, perfect for family getaway
My family of 5 (adult children) thoroughly enjoyed our New Year's getaway here. We were looking for a place where we could spread out, cook and bake, play games, relax and read. This house could not have been more perfect. The weather was cold and gray and somewhat rainy, so much of our time was spent indoors (as we had anticipated). The downstairs of the house is very spacious, comfortable and well-laid out. Furnishings are nice, but not fussy at all. Kitchen is very well equipped, with most any tool/appliance you could need. Bedrooms are very comfortable. The ping-pong room with big screen TV was a huge bonus for us. We could have lots of activities going at once -- a raucous ping pong match, a work call in the kitchen, a quiet napper in the living room -- and no one was disturbed. The photos are all accurate, but they don't actually do the house justice -- it is super light and bright and bigger than we expeccted. The deck/yard/pool all looked very nice, though we could not enjoy them with the winter weather.

Fantastic house in great neighborhood
This house was perfect for our golf trip. It was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the open kitchen/dining room/peninsula floor plan where we congregated the most. It was nice to wake up and have coffee in this bright area and reminisce about our golf adventures. The home-owner made the whole process very easy and was more than willing to help us even though we did not require much. We would definitely consider renting this house again. Thanks.

My siblings, mother and our significant others rented this house...
Our family loved it! The pool was under maintenance but that just went in last month so it was not a big deal as it was usable and that was what mattered most. Sue also made an exception for our dog which was huge for us because he is apart of most family activities (she went above and beyond with our accommodations). The house is very well kept, in a great neighborhood and the pool is super warm! Our family will remember this trip forever.

A true gem!
I’ve been coming to the Vineyard since I was around 10 years old with my family. Now when I go it’s still with family but with young daughters of my own (6 and 8), my parents and an uncle and a sibling or two stopping by. We’ve almost always stayed in Oak Bluffs for the past 30 years but we were looking to try something new this time and this turned out to be the PERFECT ESCAPE from covid, politics and homeschooling. At this home you feel like you hit the lottery and did something right to deserve such a well kept, peaceful, fun, all inclusive setting to kick back in and unplug (if that’s your aim). And that’s before even taking a dip in the heated pool. Sue was great to work with and correspond with in general and replied to any email I sent in a timely manner. For a brief moment the air wasn’t working that well on the first level but with Sue’s tips, the breeze and open windows it became a distant memory. The house is awesome, the enclosed yard is huge and well-maintained and pool was a perfect alternative to the beach. No complaints whatsoever and not a hiccup worth remembering. Biggest daily dilemma is whether or not you should leave to enjoy the usual MV treats or stay home all day and just enjoy life. My entire family agreed we would happily book again! 5 stars! p.s. I’m 25-1 in ping pong against family members because several nights we couldn’t pull ourselves away from the table.

25th anniversary
My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at this lovely home! It was very clean and well appointed. We cooked most nights including lobster and had all the necessary utensils and pans! This is a great home for large groups, however, we only had one other couple who could join us and the home still felt cozy and comfortable.

The house is in a lovely neighborhood convenient to Edgartown and Vineyard Haven. There is plenty of open space for guests to spread out. The younger generation particularly enjoyed the family room with the TV and ping-pong table.

Perfect Spot for Larger Groups
The property was huge! There was ample space for our group of 10. Neighborhood was beautiful and the owner was very responsive to any question about the house we had. The dining space was perfect for dinners with the group and the backyard was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to others and would book again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed everything about the house.It is large ,clean and convenient to everything.
Four of the five bedrooms are very large , the last one being a decent size with a full size bed. Suffice it to say there is plenty of room to put it mild. Seating for dinner is fabulous. The house ,the grounds and the location all make for a terrific place to stay.You will be very happy to rent this house. I do hope to rent it again .

Quiet, Lovely, Serene on the Vineyard!
Attending a wedding on Martha's Vineyard --- Priceless! Having a beautiful home to stay in, relax in, enjoy each other in, also wonderful! The house was as advertised, clean and quiet. Plenty of room for 7 of us adults, and we so enjoyed the common areas to gather in. The beds were great, plenty of towels and beach towels, but the icing on the cake was that a car was available for use. Could not have done without it, thank you Sue! This property is amazing! The home surpasses the photos. It was very clean, well-stocked and located in a beautiful, centrally located neighborhood. The homeowner was most gracious answering a flurry of emails before our arrival. And - the epic battles of ping pong will forever be cherished as fantastic family memories.

ideal base for a group of professionals having business on MV
Large house, clean, well heated, good internet, good beds, good laundry, everything was excellent and needed given the bad weather. We had to do scinetific field work on the beach for two weeks, and the house was a lifesaver. No way we could have performed the way we did if we had to stay in a motel. Many thanks to Sue Eident for making our house available to us.
