Lovely hotel in the perfect location. Great food, beer and good garden area. Room quite small but really well appointed.

Very busy pub but rooms on the 3 rd floor are surprisingly quiet. Food in the restaurant was excellent but breakfast was disappointing. The staff were all excellent & very helpful.
Both "fresh"fruit juices (apple & orange) were off during our 3 day stay. Also the scrambled egg was incredibly salty & cooked food was covered in pepper unless one requested otherwise. The home made muesli & granola were very nice though. Beds were rather saggy so not that comfortable depending on your preference.
