Gorgeous, comfortable, clean, spacious, well thought out home! This was our second stay in 2 years and we hope to be back again. The property is lovely. The pool is wonderful! We used the back deck more this year and enjoyed every minute. Joann has thought of everything down to the high end bathroom amenities including plush towels and robes! Can't say enough about this lovely vacation home!

We had a fantastic week staying at White House! This was our 3rd time staying at White House. JoAnn makes it feel very welcoming. The pool is wonderful, a highlight every trip. We enjoyed going down to the Miami park beach, much easier to get to with the walk way finished. We enjoyed grilling out a few times. The house is well stocked with evrything you could need. Thank you JoAnn for opening your wonderful home, we hope to be back next summer!

The whole experience at the White House was great! Jo Ann is the nicest and most responsive host we loved our stay there! You feel at home and everything you need is there! We especially enjoyed the pool, walking down the street to the private beach and watching sunsets. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much for opening up your beautiful home to us!

This property was really clean and as other reviewers have said, very well-stocked (in terms of kitchen, beach and some pool supplies), but there were a couple things that could use some attention. 1. Arrival is easy enough but once you enter the home there are about 5 pages of rules and directions for things, which I think could be streamlined into an electronic document. I would rather know about those types of things ahead of time and in one spot as it was a little stressful trying to orient our family to the place. This could be a personal preference though. 2. Owner's suite shower was not working for us. I am sure if we would have contacted the owner about this they would have helped us out, but we were not really interested in trying to juggle that during our stay. We just used the main bathroom shower (which was bigger/ nicer anyway). 3. There is not really a place to put linens. When you arrive they have the towels and robes all folded on the beds in a nice presentation, but once you settle in, there is really no place to store them, so they are just being shifted to different chairs/spots in the room. The bathrooms didn't really have any shelving to store them...just sort of inconvenient. 4. The washer and dryer are VERY small. I was doing laundry constantly because our loads had to be very small in order to not overwhelm them. This was just sort of annoying. I do a lot of laundry anyway (with small kids), but this was just sort of a weird thing to me. 5. Private beach access. This is probably the biggest frustration of our stay. This home does NOT have private beach access. It has not had it for some time and it does not look like it will have it in the near future. I would urge the owners to update this listing to reflect as such because we were very confused about what was going on. There are two ways to access the private beach. 1. Stairs, 2. Tram. This house has access to the stairs, but the stairs are in really bad shape (and are not usable/ roped off with caution tape). This seems to have been the case since at least Sept 2020, so I am not really sure when they would be getting around to fixing them. To use the tram, you need to have a tram key. This rental does NOT come with a tram key so you can't use the tram. I think this situation could be easily updated in the rental description or explained upon arrival. It didn't ruin our stay but it did make me frustrated because the listing is inaccurate.
