It sits above a charming retail store located on the main street of Downtown Auburn. Built in 1889 - updated in 2018. We worked hard to keep the charm of the turn of the century character while making sure we updated the space to offer modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our family of four (including two adult children) stayed here for a SECOND time! It's clean, decorated with thoughtful historical charm (but not cutesy or tacky), comfortable, and located right in downtown. Lots of restaurants and shopping just outside the door. This is a gem and the owners are awesome. I highly recommend and would/will stay here every time we visit Auburn!

I loved our stay here and I hope to come back again. The apartment is in the perfect location to walk to the Auburn Downtown restaurants and shops, and near Old Town. The apartment is clean, comfortable, adorable and inspiring. Loved it!!

Fun little spot with great decor! Full of charm, character and comfort. The only downside of this location is if you arrive during peak business hours, close street parking is hard to come by so it can be a bit of a trek with luggage. But that can be easily avoided by having some flexibility with arrival time.

Great find! Traveling around California from the Pittsburgh. This was first stop to visit family in Auburn. Great location, super cute and clean apartment. Good set up for family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Plenty of room for everyone have their own space. Owner was great to work with. Yummy coffee shop with great bagels and oatmeal down the street. Would highly recommend!

This was our first time using Vrbo & we had a great experience! The location was close to so many options for dining & shopping in downtown. We had all the amenities that we needed & plenty of room for our family of 4. Would definitely stay again!

We were looking for a place for my family of four to stay that was close to Tahoe for skiing. I was a little nervous about being downtown above shops, but it was quiet and very convenient. Love the historic character of the apartment and the decor. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. The host was very responsive and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Love it. Dawn has this place set up just great. We had one rainy day in Auburn (a rarity) and stayed in watching Netflix in the Living room. Very Cozy!

We loved our stay at this property! It is meticulously clean, very nicely updated and I loved how it was decorated. It is easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants in Auburn. It is also very close to hiking trails. All in all, it made for an awesome long get away weekend for my husband and I.

Owners were very communicative and prompt in answering questions. Apartment is very cool, eclectic and great location. There are some stairs to get to it from the street so just be aware of that. Overall great experience.

This is a well-appointed and comfortable apartment above turn of the century (last century) retail shops in upper Auburn. As a child (I grew up in Auburn), I often rode by this location on my bike and bought candy and ice cream in the Drugstore nearby. Auburn is a small town in the center of the gold country in California, and this location is one of the best to experience all Auburn has to offer. We loved the space, very comfortable, USB charging in all rooms, wide screen tv, surprisingly quiet and cozy. We will be back!

From the moment we opened the door we were enchanted. This perfectly appointed space was almost too special to stray from, but the town of Auburn is too charming and fun to miss! We have been sitting around all morning thinking of reasons to return to Auburn and this apartment. We came for a family wedding and we hope they throw a first anniversary party! Dawn communicated great the entire time and ensured what the expectations were. In a great location in Auburn close to restaurants and shops and highway accesss. AC, clean, fresh linen, more than enough space, beautifully decorated and price point was there. I would stay again and highly recommend.

Occasional street noise, but nothing that was too loud for my sleeping 2 yr old. The place is within walking distance of a lot of great shops and restaurants. The bar directly across the street never go too rowdy, even on the weekend. Strong AC. Two living rooms separated by the kitchen in the middle. I’d recommend for a small family like mine or a few couples looking to explore Auburn.
