About this house rental
Situated in Michiana, this attractive house for $300 per night is a great choice for your next break. Well located beach house with newly renovated kitchen and flooring in Beautiful Michiana, New Buffalo Township, MI. Just 0.7 miles to great private beach (2 free beach parking passes included) in a beautiful wooded community with playground and tennis/basketball courts. 5 minute drive to public beach and downtown New Buffalo with great restaurants, bars and shopping. 10 minutes to casinos, and perfect location to begin the wine trail or enjoy fruit picking/hiking. Lots of golf courses and breweries nearby as well. Pumpkin patches are also a short ride away. Enjoy our 4 bedroom/2 bath home that has 1 king bed, 2 queen beds, 1 queen and 2 full beds with ample living space including an loft area. Screened porch and outdoor wooded space with 2 decks, perfect for watching deer and birds. Hot tub and 2 grills (Weber 3 burner gas and one charcoal) are available for you to use as well! Thanks

Our late check in was easy. Cleaning crew could be a little better. We did not cook here. The kitchen would need some improvement for me to make anything, the oven and a drawer do not fully open because of the design. For coffee drinkers-there is a drip coffee maker and keurig The beds were comfortable and the location was pretty and great for walks. My family came here for a funeral in November. I grew up here and it was nice being here again. A coat rack or hooks at the door would have been nice for our snowy jackets/coats. Good stay overall!

It was our annual Michigan with 6 dear friends the weekend of 9/8-9/11/22. We were looking for a house in New Buffalo that specifically had 6 beds, was close to Lake Michigan in a good neighborhood, was close to the wineries, had a jacuzzi and fire pit. The real disappointment was how dirty this place was. When we arrived the first day the first thing that we all noticed was the strong musty, moldy, mildew and sewer smell. I kind of blew it off at first but when the other 5 people said the exact same thing I was beyond pissed off. Especially in the time of Covid. Both bathrooms had mold. One bathroom on the shower curtain liner and the en-suite bathroom on the showers doors. The toilets barely flushed. The kitchen, living room, bathroom and wood floors in the bedrooms were filthy. It didn’t look like they were cleaned in months. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet. No extra garbage bags or toilet paper. Please note again there were 6 women in this home for 3 nights. The Kitchen chair was broken. Toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall in the en-suite. Kitchen counter top was loose. Kitchen drawer was loose and almost feel out. No extra blankets or beach towels. Hair dryer in small bathroom didn’t work. All of us woke up every morning coughing up phlegm and sneezing and this continued when we were in during the evening. Oh and did I say that there was a moldy, musty, mildewy sewer smell the entire time we were there. Honestly we couldn’t wait to leave as soon as we could this morning. At this time I am requesting a full refund of the cleaning deposit. My final thoughts!! DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY.

I liked that there was lots of space, plenty of beds. I didn’t like that I had to empty the dishwasher, there was dirty sheets in laundry room. The coffee pot was old, could be updated, there was a Kerig available, no pods

This beach home is a very unique property. It can use some updates and the cleanliness of the home needs attention. The home is in a great location with private access to the beach, tourist attractions, restaurants and the casino. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay.

The public beach in New Buffalo was very nice. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our only complaint was that the deck where the hot tub was located was not cleaned/blown off before our arrival. Lots of leaves and debris covered the chairs and deck.

The house was amazing!! We had the greatest time! The hot tub was nice and hot, the beds were very comfortable, and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend! I will be keeping this house in mind for my next trip to Michigan.

Only downside was that the hot tub was not working, which the property manager let us know before our stay and offered several very acceptable solutions to the problem. She was very accommodating. Only downside if I had to find one was that the fully stocked pantry is slim. We needed olive oil and there was none. Everything else was just great! We will definitely consider this place if we come to this area again!

Good places to eat around this area, and the hot tub was quite relaxing and easy to use. The sliding glass door sticks/is hard to open. Some suggestions are: Add some more hooks throughout the place. Shovel/salt better the front walkway and the path to the hot tub better. General updating and painting could make the inside space more inviting.
