A private single room (single bed) with ensuite in a great central location.
The room is not air-conditioned. For me it was Autumn so I was OK but I think in peak Summer it might be an issue.

The hostel is located close to the city center and Gran Vía.
The room and the hostel were clean.
A microwave and a sink for washing produce were available for use. There was a Condis supermarket nearby for supplies.
We were provided with two bottles of water, tea bags, coffee, and access to an electric kettle—all of which were welcome. I would have gladly traded the water and the two candies for toilet paper, the absence of which I discovered rather... late.
It is a transit location, suitable for a short stay.

The hostel suffered a security breach. I was bombarded with WhatsApp messages asking me to confirm my arrival and click on links. My phone was hacked. I contacted the host, who confirmed that the messages hadn't come from the hotel and honored our reservation, BUT I felt they didn't attach enough importance to the fact that my phone number had fallen into the hands of hackers.
The room is not recommended for people with claustrophobia. It is very small, and due to the heat, you have to keep the fan on with the window closed. I felt like I couldn't breathe.There is NO air conditioning.
You need to bring personal hygiene products.

The staff, particularly Yulia was kind, helpful, and took an interest in your activities and even recommended some. Room was large and had a balcony. The location of the hotel two blocks from La Gran Via and close to a market, cafes, and an assortment of restaurants, all within walking distance.
The extreme heat made me wish my room was equipped with an air conditioner rather than fans.
