Coastal Concepts, Inc., a design and development team, is excited to offer, Shore winds Beach House, now available to rent to discriminating guests. This stylish home is located on the beachside of Lakeshore Road in desirable Union Pier. There is direct beach access to Miller Street beach from the garden gate.
The interior environment cleverly mixes the use of original artwork, artifacts, and antiques in a playful way that captures the essence of coastal living. French doors lead from the kitchen to a side patio that is adjacent to the beach path. Each bedroom has its own French door that opens to an exterior seating area.
The property has a fence as well as professional landscaping of the gardens offering you privacy while still being able to hear the waves on the shore.
Dining furniture sits under the pergola-covered deck and is an inviting spot to spend the late afternoon relaxing with a good book and a beverage or outdoor dining. Seating is nestled by the firepit for late evening star gazing.
We offer 2 full bathrooms as well as a hot and cold beach shower.
This is a cottage that you'll be thrilled that you chose for sharing with your loved ones.
Our house keeping staff has been groomed and trained to be a cut above the best with attention to details.
Reservations are not secured until a 50% rental deposit and a signed contract are received. The balance is due 60 days before the scheduled arrival along with a security deposit and housekeeping fee. There is a 3-night minimum for holiday and Special Event Weekends, at the weekend rate.
Payment in full is required with bookings made less than 30 days in advance. Summer rentals are booked as a 8-day/7 night package only. All summer rentals begin on Saturday afternoon and end the following Saturday Morning..
Check in at 4pm and check out at 10am on Saturdays for weekly rentals. Cancellation fees may apply.
We sleep 5 privately in the bedrooms and 7 with the sofa sleeper in the great room for over night guests.
Note, weekly rental cleaning rate is $275.00.

Had a wonderful few days here with 2 granddaughters who loved the beach! We traveled by train from Chicago to New Buffalo. Got along fine without a car, but it would have been handy at times. Feels very safe and peaceful. A short walk down a path to the beach, but no beach view from the property. Restaurants, local small grocery store and gelato all an easy walk. Had one gorgeous sunset on the beach!

The property is one where we have stayed multiple times. Our host is everything you would hope for: accessible, attentive and very capable of meeting needs if they arise. The property itself is very well kept, pleasant, nicely decorated and very near the Lake Michigan beach. We will continue to come back here.

Shorewinds is a gem! Well-equipped kitchen, comfy and clean—so close to the beach, just down the path. Sunsets!Our host was great—provided complete information and very responsive. We spent a lot of time outdoors—the landscaping and patio areas are stunning. With a fantastic coffee/breakfast spot and dinner place within walking distance we were so content. Will return! Great for a couple or small family.

This property is truly a gem. Our family of four — two young kids in tow — had an absolutely wonderful stay. The space itself is beautifully appointed, and the location couldn’t be better: steps from the beach and close to everything you’d want to explore. It strikes that perfect balance of comfort and convenience that’s so hard to find. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
