The host and apartment were both excellent. Good location for getting to the lavender fields near Valensole and Verdon Gorge region. It is about a 12-15 minute walk to the center of town. A large grocery store is about a 6 minute drive. The rooms are shaded which kept the apartment comfortable in the summer. Kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and having 2 bathrooms was a plus. Marc was very accommodating and helpful. He provided a local map and suggested things to do. We would definitely recommend Vacances Castellane.

The host was very welcoming, nice and helpful. We arrived when the weather got bad and he helped us find good places to visit despite the weather. The house has everything you need including a well equipped kitchen, washing machine, and heating that does a pretty good job during the nights when it can get quite chilly. There's a lovely garden outside where you can chill out. If you plan on Kayaking and seeing the nearby areas then Castellane should be a good choice.

The host knows the wifi is dodgy and is working hard with the internet providers to fix the issue as he himself is living in the same location and has the same problem. It's the ground floor in a village so you can naturally expect some insects to be around, but it would be nice to have some old spider webs cleaned from the ceiling, lamps etc. The beds, kitchen, toilet and shower otherwise seemed quite clean.

Brigitte and Marc are very nice. Location is great. Kitchen well equipped.
