It was very clean and comfortable. Gaetano was very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. He even called a taxi for us on two occasions. We don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak much English but we got by!
The little terrace where we had breakfast was just lovely.
There was a fridge in the room and coffee and tea bags however there was no lid on our kettle. When I asked for a lid or a different kettle our host asked me to show him and just laughed. I assumed we would return to find a kettle with a lid but we didn’t. We just didn’t use it.
Breakfast was good but the milk was UHT and not very good in our morning cuppa. Maybe some fresh milk at breakfast and some milk with tea and coffee tray would be an added bonus.
Don’t be put off by the entrance as there is building work going on. It just added to the Naples experience!
Location is great and most things very walkable.
We stayed in Room 2 which was lovely but room 1 has two windows , one of which looks up the street.
The property is right next to an Underground Tour. Fabulous!
The only thing we didn’t like was the UHT Milk. And the kettle with no lid.

The place is in the heart of Naples old town. Amazing location to stay and to feel the old town spirit. The room was very clean, spaces, no noise from the street. Air conditioner was working excellent, beda comfortabile.
Was challenging to find the location (really hidden place), breakfast was really just ok. Nothing special at all, bread, ham, eggs, cheese, coffee, tea.

Overall, this was a delightful stay. The host was very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean, spacious with a balcony view of the street below. Breakfast had everything that we needed and dining on the common balcony was very comfortable with a great view. Bathroom was clean, well equipped and relatively spacious. Appreciated the elevator as the B&B was on the 4th floor. The location was excellent, just steps from great dining, gelato and shopping, and only a 10–15-minute walk to anything in the old city center.
Of no fault of the B&B, the common area of the building was under renovation, but that seemed to be getting close to being completed. There was no construction noise, so it really didn't affect our stay.

Great breakfast. Cappuccino and a croissant and a yogurt. Not a bad place for one single person. Great place for people interested in Roman and Greek history. Very congested area with narrow roads and too many small shops. Great place for young and middle age people.
We were two seniors with bad hips and a young 42 year adult who had to walk from four blocks away through cobbled unaligned streets in the middle of the night with all our luggage.
I didn’t like that I had to share a room that was designed for one person with two other adults on my party.
I left the next day. I had to book for another place 50 miles away and was so inconvenienced with cutting my visit to the City of Napoli.
I expect a full return for all my expenses from booking.com as I had made a change for my initial booking and it is the first time they dropped the ball. I have more trips left and I have continued to book with them on the hope that they will make this mishap right. Booking.com is a great app but needs to be more reactive to messages. This whole episode could have been averted. Host kept insisting he did not get my messages.
