Nestled in Parksville, this charming house for $151 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Waterfront at it's finest. Our rental property is located between Parksville and Qualicum Beach, 3 minutes from French Creek Marina. We are close to shopping, restaurants and Morningstar Golf course. The suite is fully equipped, self contained and is perfectly situated on our residential property to take advantage of the spectacular views of the Strait of Georgia. The property is 50' above sea level with stairs leading to a private beach where you can go for a refreshing swim, walk the beach or simply relax with a good book. The suite has a fabulous view from every window. You can see Ballenas Island from the kitchen, watch the Lasqueti Island Ferry from the living room or observe the eagles perching in a tree outside the bedroom window. Spent a month here with fantastic weather only exceeded by the care extended by John & Coral. Welcome and frequent treats were an unexpected bonus. No matter how long your stay here you will wish it were longer. The suite has every convenience and should you require something more, the hosts will supply it. Highly recommend this place and hope we can return some day.

Our stay at ‘Eagle View’ was wonderful, a peaceful getaway! The suite is clean, cosy, bright, well equipped and has an amazing view. We appreciated the kindness from Coral and John who were the perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome and giving us useful information about the area. We were also treated to several tasty treats during our stay. We will return.

We cannot fault Corals amazing property, and from beginning to end, everything far surpassed our expectations.
The superb location, and therefore the views, are even better than described - we loved watching the daily activities of the 17 resident Eagles, and the comings and goings of the many seals and fishing boats. Once inside the so comfortable (the bed is really great too), very clean and extremely well equipped suite you immediately feel completely 'at home'.
Coral has thought of everything, the kitchen and bathroom are really well equiped, (one of the best we've ever stayed in); but she also goes the extra mile and supplies many great quality extras, plus the welcoming treats when you arrive help make everything even more special.
Communication with Coral (from booking onwards) was excellent and as hosts Coral and John are 5*.
Throughout our stay they were always extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even delivered further treats such as freshly home made salmon pate and crackers - delicious; and as we had such wonderful weather for February in BC, supplied us with two chairs for a Valentine's Day picnic on the beach.
We had a fantastic holiday, definitely hope to return, and would not hesitate to recommend this property to all our friends and family.

A magical experience with breathtaking views!
Staying at Coral and John's suite has been truly memorable as the space is extremely comfortable, bright and spotless with a fully stocked kitchen; all over a perfectly peaceful environment to forget about the rest of the world. The panoramic views on the garden and the ocean are truly unique and the eagles guard the property with a higher vision! Best place ever
This property is a real gem. It is sparkling clean, quiet and loaded with little extra touches. The kitchen is probably the best equipped of any rental we have ever been in. The host and hostess are extremely friendly and the view is absolutely spectacular. We saw eagles, seals, sea lions, otters and all sorts of sea birds on a daily basis, just by looking out the window. The neighbourhood is very quiet, I don't thing we even saw another car and there are plenty of sights within a short drive. We would highly recommend this rental and we will be back.

Beyond our expectations
From the minute we entered our rental we knew we had picked one fantastic property. We were greeted by our host, Coral, who was so personable as she showed us around. First, the view was unbelievably beautiful from our own patio which led down to an astonishing beach.
Then we went on to our spacious upstairs apartment that had a view from every window. The apartment had a great layout and had everything we needed for our stay. It was so very comfortable. Great linens, dreamy bed, and a kitchen that was well appointed. Honestly I think this was our top rental since we have begun traveling. Coral and her husband John gave us a lot of great information about the area.

Better than Perfect
This cozy suite for two is amazing, with unbelievable ocean views and beautiful, manicured gardens. Very well appointed and immaculate. The hosts were very friendly, most welcoming and provided information for some great places to check out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a longer return visit. It just doesn’t get any better! Truly 5 star accommodation!

A fantastic home away from home for a couple or single. The suite is well-equipped, comfortable, and with the best view in town. This was our second stay here and we loved the wildlife, the location and our wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

A peaceful retreat with beautiful views
It was such a pleasure staying at Eagle View Guest Suite! This property is beautiful and inviting, perfect for two people. The suite is very quiet, spacious, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware, making it possible to prepare the fresh fish you can buy at the French Creek Marina. There are amazing ocean views from all the windows and guests have access to a lovely patio. Coral and John are wonderful hosts: friendly, helpful and prompt in their response to all enquiries. This is a wonderful vacation rental and we will definitely be back!

The place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Wonderful views, tons of wildlife and a great patio to sit outside. The suite was comfy and quiet with great views. Fish market close by allowed for tasty bc cuisine. Can’t wait to visit again for sure. Coral and John were great hosts with tips to help us make the most of our time there.

Wonderfully comfortable with a great view
Loved this suite situate above a garage (stairs) near French Creek . Very very comfy with lots of little extras from Coral and John including a bottle of wine and fruit. Well stocked basic pantry for spices. Had a little deck all to ourselves and the eagles and seals made themselves available for viewing. Would highly recommend unless you have mobility issues then the stairs and possibly the huge soaker tub may be a slight problem , not that I did not love having a tub. Thanks again Coral and John

Absolutely perfect property!
We had a lovely one week stay at this property. It is actually much, much better than the photos and description! The views are spectacular and the unit is immaculate, well-designed and extremely well provisioned.
We arrived late afternoon and Coral welcomed us with fresh fruit, homemade cookies and a bottle of wine. Frig had creamer, water and sodas. There was coffee, tea, olive oil and all the basics for preparing meals, along with anything you need for cooking.
The deck has 180 degree views of the water--really wonderful. There is also a private patio with a gas grill for your use.
John and Coral were great hosts and will ensure you have anything you need. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations as well as advising us to take a ferry from Mill Bay to Brentwood Bay (by Butchart Gardens) to avoid a couple hours of driving. They know the island well and are a great resource!
They also very kindly shared some local chanterelle mushrooms that they picked over the weekend--they were delicious!
This is the nicest VRBO unit we have stayed in---I would not hesitate to recommend.

A great location and a superb suite
The suite is ideally located within a quiet residential area with excellent amenities. During our stay we enjoyed hiking in the surrounding countryside and visiting many local sites. We had fine and warm weather, though forest fires on the mainland and the island severely reduced visibility during the last four days of our stay. We particularly enjoyed swimming in the sea adjacent to the suite and the exceptional sea life to be found there. Coral and John have upgraded the suite since our last stay four years ago with excellent facilities and if you enjoy barbeques, as we do, an excellent bbq located on the patio. I would have no hesitation in recommending the suite to a couple looking for a extremely well appointed accommodation with excellent facilities in a quiet area of Parksville with ready access to the central part of Vancouver Island.
