Situated in Pacific Grove, this lovely house for $498 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. AMAZING LOCATION! This adorable beach home is an easy walk to downtown and Lovers Point Beach and has everything you need for a relaxing and/or action packed weekend. Originally built in 1908 in the historic Pacific Grove Retreat, this home is rich in history and completely updated. Cozy, Comfortable and with all the modern conveniences. Pacific Grove STR #0084. Walk in to an open floor plan, the living room flows to the kitchen. There is a huge gas fireplace, Smart Samsung TV with streaming apps, and soaring ceilings with skylights. Kitchen is fully stocked. Dining room opens to a private deck with an outdoor living room and a huge gas fireplace. An outdoor eating area, BBQ, hot tub and outdoor shower complete the backyard. The home has an upstairs living room loft with comfortable seating to watch the Smart Samsung TV or sit in front of another gas fireplace. Should you need a workspace we have an adjustable standing desk upstairs. Two comfortable bedrooms on the first floor with queen beds. Master bath has a bathtub shower and the middle bedroom has a steam shower. Rent from the owner- you'll communicate directly with me and my local house manager. I love sharing my home with people coming to enjoy Pacific Grove. You can’t beat the location - Everything you could want or need is so close- enjoy the downtown restaurants and shops or Lover's Point beaches, Pacific Grove Golf Course. It's one mile on the beach trail to the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium and historic Cannery Row Shopping in Carmel, golfing in Pebble Beach, hiking in Big Sur are an easy drive away or you can also just stay home and relax in the hot tub on the deck- read a book by a cozy fire. The Pacific Grove Retreat is a historic neighborhood where the homes are close together. While we want you to enjoy your time, this is not a place to host a party. We observe the guest maximum (4) and work to be good neighbors by keeping the noise down. Husband, 10 year old son and I stayed over the holidays at this special place. We enjoyed the fireplaces, hot tub, steam shower and comfy beds. My son loved the loft. Highly recommend this place. The owner was incredibly responsive to texts. And it was a holiday weekend!!!

My family and I loved the property and the layout of the house. It has wonderful amenities such as multiple fireplaces, a hot tub, a steam shower, and streaming apps on all tvs. The host considered all needs and everything was very easy for us as guests. We were already talking about coming back in the future!

It's a short walk to Lover's Point and just 2 blocks from Lighthouse Ave downtown Pacific Grove. Highly recommend Bookworks for your morning coffee and a muffin. There's a lot to do in Pacific Grove and Monterey (Monterey Aquarium, Lighthouse, Butterflies, seals @ Fisherman's Wharf, etc). We also did a couple day trips to state parks.
Rent an e-bike at Big Sur Adventures on Sunset and ride the 17-mile-drive for great views and points of interest. The Pebble Beach Visitor Center is really more of a museum than a pro shop. Don't skip it. We also enjoyed Carmel-by-the-Sea beach.
We would definitely stay here again!

Really great location close to the Ocean and lots of restaurants that are walkable. Place was very clean, comfortable, and the house was perfect for our trip. Neighboring homes are very close but had no issues with noise at all. Highly recommend...

I highly recommend Margaret’s place. Great location / super clean / great beds / and cute cute cute! You could not ask for a better location - just a 2 block short walk to Lover’s point, and 2 blocks to Lighthouse Ave (main street) for coffee or breakfast. My wife and i loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Pacific Grove Property. It was super clean and the outside Gas Fireplace was fantastic for setting around in the evening. The neighborhood is very quiet and very easy walk to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. We are looking forward to coming back to this property!!!

Walking distance to MANY restaurants, a block to the beach and walking trails, well stocked and prepped to anticipate your needs -- and a comfortable layout on a quiet street with ample street parking.

This charming home is within walking distance from Lover’s Point and several great restaurants. The area is quiet and. lose to Carmel-by-the-Sea, Cannery Row, 17-mile drive through Pebble Beach. Easy drive to view the majesty of the Bixby Bridge and Big Sur. The house is adorable and historic, built in 1909! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The house is so cute and spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed and more. Loved the yard with gas fireplace and outdoor lights. Very easy to walk to the beach and downtown. Overall, a very pleasant stay and we would go again.

This little row house was beautifully redone and they have made it much roomier than the original row houses. It was clean and warm but modern on the inside. I really wished I could have stayed longer after arriving as it was such a nice spot!
It is walking distance to everything and on a quiet street.

Our house was scheduled for termite fumigation so rather than stay in a hotel, we decided to book a few nights at this lovely PG cottage. The location was perfect - a block from Lover's Point and walking distance to downtown PG.
From the outside, this was the cutest beach cottage. Honestly, the online pictures of the inside do not do this cottage justice. Walking in there was tons of natural light which I absolutely loved. The furnishings were comfortable to include the beds. I slept like a baby. The cottage was quite modern inside with a nicely updated kitchen, 2 large TVs, steam shower in one of the baths, a gas fireplace in each of the living areas, a speaker system to bluetooth to and fast wifi. If you want to watch TV, there are plenty of channels from which to choose. I had never used YouTube TV before and was impressed with all it had to offer. I loved the spiral staircase up to the loft. So cozy up there with the couch, large TV and gas fireplace. You could even get a peek at the Bay from the upstairs deck.
The outdoor patio was wonderful! It had a lovely gas fireplace as well so it was really nice to relax outside in front of the fire with a glass of wine. There is a hot tub available, but we did not use it. There is also a gas grill with natural gas hook up so no worries about refilling propane.
Margaret was a wonderful host - very accommodating and responsive. Frank, the property manager texted us to let us know when the property was ready for us. They even let us check in early as we had to be out of our home at 8 am for fumigation.
I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. We were so comfortable. The lovely cottage had all the comforts of home and pricing was in my opinion quite reasonable.
If I ever needed to have another "staycation" in PG, I would stay here. Highly recommend!! Perfect spot for a small family or couple to enjoy. Thank you Margaret for sharing your home and Frank for making sure it was ready to go and we had everything we needed!!

I love the Pacific Grove neighborhood so the location was a big reason for choosing this VRBO. Parking wasn't an issue, the neighborhood is quiet but still located to all the places I wanted to visit. The house itself had all the essentials but could use some minor improvements. The front door knob/keypad was functional but was a bit loose (I was a little worried I might accidentally pull the knob off but it was secure). The beds are a bit springy (could use a good topper) and the pillows were also a bit flat and old (could definitely use replacement). The front bedroom would benefit from curtains to block out the morning light (I'd bring an eye mask). The walls in that bedroom could also use some cleaning or fresh paint because it looked like there were some light brown water stains/streaks on the wall from the recent rain/humidity. It didn't look like water damage or anything, just the type of streaks that can come from humidity. The front restroom could also benefit from a toilet roll holder. The kitchen also had some ants (not a full on infestation but enough that I would be very careful about not leaving any food/crumbs out by accident).
The rest of the house was lovely. It was nice to have a table for games and counterspace. Kitchen was well stocked. Upstairs loft is small but pleasant space. It was nice to have a hot tub outside which fits about 2 people. Would warm it up before use if you like it above 98 degrees.
The owner and property manager were very welcoming, communicative, and accessible. Our group of 4 was comfortable here.

We stayed here to babysit our 2 year old grand daughter. we walked easily to Lovers Point and any restaurants. jacuzzi was great and theres an outdoor fireplace. We used the indoor fireplace every night. House is stocked with everything you need. Parking is on street and only one way, so first come first serve. We didn't have much a problem. Would rent again.

The location can’t be beat. Can walk to restaurants and the beach. Houses are very close together so be aware of potential for noise although the neighborhood was quiet. House is nicely remodeled and very clean. Bright light and cheery. Good heat source including radiant heat in the floors. House manager was very responsive and helpful. He even came over when we had a question. Downstairs living room only has a small couch and needs a comfortable chair as there was no room for the four of us. Hadn’t realized that getting up to the loft meant going up a very steep circular staircase which should be photographed in the ads so people can see if that’s right for them. Also it may seem minor but the ads showed all kinds of throw pillows that weren’t there. This made the seating in all parts of the house less than really comfortable. The fireplace in downstairs living room didn’t have a cover so might be unsafe for small children. But all in all it was still cute and we felt safe. Pacific grove is adorable.

The place was exactly what I needed. The house is in great condition with lots of high-tech amenities (with easy instructions and manuals) but the best part was the location. It was less than a 5-minute walk to the water in one direction and downtown (restaurants, bakery, market) in the other. The backyard is cozy with a ready-to-go hot tub and fireplace. Initially, we were worried about the neighbors being so close, but that quickly went away.
The host was responsive to my questions before and while we were at the property. The listing was right on. Highly recommend this host and house.

We had a great stay and could easily walk to the coast as well as local shops and restaurants. The property was clean and well kept. I wish we could have enjoyed the decks more, but it was cold and rainy for a lot of our stay.

The location of this house in Pacific Grove is terrific! The street is quiet and you are in walking distance to the beach and walking trail along the bay, as well as a little grocery store, and shops and restaurants. I stayed there by myself and felt safe and happy! I highly recommend, and hope to return.

Perfect property for our needs. Our out of the country guests were able to walk easily to the ocean, aquarium and other locations. I was able to use the jacuzzi and get a much-needed R&R day. Sorry about dirty dishes in the dishawasher. I had loaded it and there wasn't soap to use. Husband didn't tell me until 2 days later he wasn't able to start it.
