Nestled in Cowichan Valley, this lovely house for $335 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Reconnect with family and friends while taking in the natural beauty of B.C.'s west coast! We welcome groups of up to 6 adults or 8 guests for groups that include children at Mystic Beach Vacation Home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an outdoor shower, hot tub and ping pong table. Full stainless steel kitchen, modern furnishings, hardwood and basalt tile floors, and vaulted timber ceilings. The open and airy zen-like space of the home and the incredible views are inspiring, uplifting and relaxing. This custom built timber frame home features Vancouver Island red cedar and Douglas fir. Mystic Beach Vacation Home is a 5 minute drive to the most beautiful wild beaches and old growth trails on the south coast of Vancouver Island. Located at the high point of a quiet subdivision perfectly placed to take in 180 degree view of the Juan de Fuca Strait and the Olympic Mountains. A 30 minute drive west of Sooke, BC and one hour from Victoria, BC. Explore Canada’s South Pacific! Just up the road (5 minute drive) from Jordan River, BC and the access points for China Beach and Mystic Beach, Juan de Fuca Marine Trail and Sombrio beach (the best surfing on Vancouver Island). The home faces south, so windows to the east allow the view of the sunrise and to the west, the sunset. When the fog rolls in down low most often you can still enjoy the sun from the large patio up here on the hill top. Sit in the comfort of a bright open space and vaulted ceilings while you watch the ships roll in and out of the Juan de Fuca strait. Hardwood and basalt tile floors, blue marble counter tops in the kitchen, and stainless steel appliances make the home calming and comfortable with a true west coast vibe. There is enough room for the whole family or a group of friends; a king bed in the master bedroom, two twins that easily convert to a king in the second upstairs bedroom and on the ground floor a private queen bed with second bathroom. This home sleeps 6 in bedrooms or 8 on futons. Please note the main living space (kitchen, living, dining, master bed, master bath, bedroom with 2 twins) is located on the upper level and the lower studio suite (tv room with 2 futons and queen bedroom open to en-suite) is accessed via the covered exterior staircase that connects the upper level to the patio area. Soak in the deep tub in the main bathroom or the second bathroom or take in the views from the outdoor hot tub. Have fun playing on the professional ping pong table. For the adventurous, there is a small indoor climbing wall for the kids. Enjoy the mountain and ocean views from the cottage or go out and explore the most beautiful trails and beaches in Canada. Mystic Beach, China beach and Jordan River are a 5 minute drive from the house, Sombrio is 20 minutes and Port Renfrew is 50 minutes away. Excellent accommodations to explore Vancouver Island’s best surf, wild and rugged coast line and rainforest trails. Thank you very much for letting us stay at your lovely home! Its very beautiful, and there are plenty of space for our three kids to roam around, the rock climbing wall was a great surprise as my kids loved trying to climb up and down. Rooms were clean, kitchen was well stocked and the gift basket was a great touch! The hot tub was great in the evening for relaxation! Owner was easy to communicate with and the instructions were easy to get in the house. We would not hesitate to stay there again in the future. Thank you again for sharing your home with us!!!

My family and I truly enjoyed the property. Great hiking trails,fantastic sunset views, a sheltered ping pong table and a small Christmas tree which was at the property when we arrived made the stay there magical. Highest recommendation.

The perfect place for us to celebrate my sister's big birthday with lots of forest bathing, beachcombing, hot tub soaking, and great conversation. The view is outstanding! This was our first trip to that part of the coast and we really enjoyed it. The beach house was super comfortable, with plenty of space to take breaks from eachother, too!

House is beautiful with an amazing view. Everything was there to make it a comfortable stay. Hot Tub and ping pong were an added bonus. Location is central to explore all the beaches and hikes in the area. Quiet property and once again the view was amazing.

The place was amazing. The property is huge and secluded with several different areas to hang out. The hot tub was perfect and the table tennis was a nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked. The house was super clean as well. Definitely will be staying here again.

The house is gorgeous and the location is perfect for exploring both ends of the west coast. We adventured and explored throughout the day but the highlights were definitely hot tub soaks in the evening and beautiful morning coffee views. Check in was easy and communication with owners seamless. Kitchen and amenities all well stocked. The owners left us a generous little check in basket as well. Our 13 year old felt so grown up with her own little suite. Definitely recommend this property.

Our stay at the Mystic Beach Vacation House was perfect. Everything we needed was there. It felt like home. The view from the deck was beautiful and it was neat to see all the different boats and ship that use that inlet. The beaches along the way were nice to stop for the view and for a picnic. Mystic Beach was hard trek but worth it once you got down to the ocean. We will definitely be back!!

We had a fantastic getaway at the Mystic Beach Vacation Home. The property has all the amenities one could need and is extremely clean. The extra touches from the owners are certainly appreciated and really enhanced our stay. From the moment you walk through the door, you can see that it is a property that is cared for with the comforts of home. The location is perfect for enjoying the views of the mountains, ocean and sunset views and is not far from the beautiful trails, beaches and charming communities of Port Renfrew and Sooke. Highly recommend! Our annual ladies/friend getaway was a big success and I will visit again with my family.

This house was spotlessly clean, well equipped and with a view that is truly exceptional! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and it was spacious and comfortable for our group. We so enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching whales and then the stars at night. It is extremely quiet, and a fantastic location for hiking the Juan de Fuca trail or for just enjoying exploring this part of the coast. Marlena was so quick to respond to my questions and the entire process of booking and planning our trip was so easy. This is truly a special place!!

We such a great time at this beautiful house overlooking the straight with absolutely stunning views of the water and mountains! We were 3 couples coming together for a week of vacation and the place is really well laid out for groups. We really hanging out in the spacious living room and deck and enjoyed cooking together while enjoying the view. The kitchen was well stocked with pretty much everything we needed.
We also really loved the space underneath the house with the ping pong table, chairs, outdoor shower, and of course the hot tub. This was a great space for hanging out together and also for dealing with all our surf and SUP gear. We also really appreciated having laundry facilities.
Marlena was an incredibly attentive and thoughtful host! Check in was easy and clear and any time we had a question she was immediately responsive. The house was well stocked and well cared for and it made our week easy and stress free.
I would highly recommend this house and hope we can come back again someday!

We absolutely loved Mystic Beach House! Trevor and Marlena have a little slice of paradise on the island and we loved being able to explore all the nearby hikes and beaches.
We stayed as two families and the kids loves the rock wall feature, games, ping pong table, and hot tub. The adults marvelled at the beautiful setting, stunning timber building, views, comfortable furniture, and hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This is our 3rd summer staying here and we plan to be back next year. The house and property are fantastic, as is the location near so many great beaches. Any small issues that come up are quickly resolved by email. Can't recommend this house highly enough!

Property was as advertised, remote, beautiful and quiet.
Local beaches all had some hikes to get to them but were well worth it.
Great views from the property, the hot tub at sunset was a nightly event for the family.

Wonderful Relaxing Location
I loved the house. It was a perfect fit with us. Lots of walks (and bears!) nearby. Although there were problems with the hot tub and the cooker during our stay the owner had already identified them and was working on them and they didn’t affect our use of either during our stay. Plenty of good quality soaps/conditioner/ shampoo and towels available. Good communication with the owner. Basically the house had everything we needed to provide us with a base for a fantastic first experience in Canada. Even the young adults enjoyed the stay despite it being a little isolated!

This vacation home was lovely and suited our family nicely. The beautiful deck and outdoor living spaces were perfect to take in the ocean view. The home has a nice west coast style and is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. We explored many of the surrounding beaches which were just a short drive away.
