Location was perfect. The host arranged transportation to and from the airport. Super clean!

Great location. We walked everywhere, only time we needed a ride was from the airport and to the train station and that’s mainly because of luggage or we would have taken public transportation. There is an elevator to get your luggage up but we just walked up the 3 flights to the unit. Nice wide stairway with shallow steps. We had 3 bedrooms and each bedroom in itself was like a studio apartment.
My complaints:
the kitchen was not stocked with anything. No salt, pepper, sugar, coffee or paper towels. There wasn’t even a dish towel. All the freezers were all frosted over and could not be used. At first we didn’t think it was a big deal but every rental since all were provided, including olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There is a convenience/grocery store steps away but it would have been nice to have it provided, at least a few days supply.

We could not have been happier with our stay. We were a family of 6. Children ages 5,7,10,11. The property manager was wonderful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Check in was easy and they even helped coordinate pickup and drop off from the Airport and Cruise Terminal. The property was great for a larger family. Three bedrooms and three full baths with great water pressure in all three. The market is literally 50 feet from the front door. My wife would go each morning and get a coffee from one of the many coffee shops but there is one literally 1 minute or less from the front door. The market has everything. The location was wonderful. We easily walked everywhere we wanted to go and it seemed like everything was no more than 10-15 minutes away other than the Vatican which was like 25 minutes and the Colosseum which was about 20-25 also. Although the walks were great and did not seem so long as there is so much to look at and experience along the way. If you are coming to Rome this is a wonderful place to stay. You truly feel like you are part of the community and the elevator is simple and reliable. It is your typical residential elevator. It is wonderful for taking your luggage up and also taking at the end of a long day of walking with kids! The next time we are in Rome there is no doubt that this will be our first option on where we would like to stay. I can not say enough good things about this place. Thank you for allowing my family and I to stay here.

First the good- location is an easy walk to so many sites, eateries, grocery, shopping. The flat is on the 4th floor and has a lift (size of a phone both) for those who need help with luggage. The flat itself is beautiful with three beds and three baths. Wonderful for families or friends who prefer having their own space. Beds are comfortable as well.
Things to be prepared for:
There is no group lounge area. One bedroom shares space with the dining table which is the only place you can sit together.
There are NO amenities. Other than a tiny bar of soap and tiny bottle of shampoo for each guest. No kitchen towels (whenI asked where they were I was told to go buy one at the nearby store) no coffee maker (other than a stovetop espresso maker which doesn’t accommodate the number of guests this property rents to), no paper towels, no toilet paper other than what’s left on the rolls in the bathrooms (not even new rolls) no washing machine soap, and no dish soap (other than what’s left under the sink which would not have lasted had we spent more than 2 days there).
the freezer in the main kitchen was so full of frost and ice you couldn’t fit anything in it. The gas to the stove was off we had to figure out how to turn on water to laundry was off had to figure that out as well. No in-person check in to walk us through the property either. It’s lovely but too expensive for what you (don’t) get.

The apartment is as pictured and is kept clean. It is close to all the main tourist spots such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, and Piazza Navona. The Colosseum is maybe 25 min walk away and the Vatican is maybe 30-35 min away. However, if you are traveling with someone with mobility issues then just be aware the elevator only fits a max of 3 people and does not stop on the floor of the apartment. You will either walk up or down 12 stairs to get to the apartment from the elevator. We enjoyed our stay at Casa Minerva and it worked great for us. Having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was very nice. There is some street noise but not too much of an issue. Light sleepers should just not pick the bedroom with the couch and dining table as it gets the most street noise. Pierfranco was a good host and responded to queries quickly. Just an FYI to tourists be careful if you are relying on taxi's to get to your points of interest. They can be difficult to get and sometimes they will not travel to certain parts of the city because of green zones or if there is a service at St. Peter's. We missed a couple of tours because of this. If you walk everywhere you will be fine. Also, if you arrange transport with Pierfranco to the airport it is convenient as i said taxi's are sometimes hard to come by. When we arrived it took 45 min in line to get a taxi. When we left we had Pierfranco arrange transport. Uber and ready now are not reliable.

This apartment is a dream...it is really like three separate apartments with their own bathrooms. Perfect for privacy at the end of a long day of sight seeing. Family harmony!
Lovely period decor. Excellent beds! We were three generations and it worked beautifully. Would stay again and again.

Our family travels a great deal. We usually stay at the Minerva Hotel in Rome, right at the Pantheon. This apartment is similarly located and so much better for three generations versus three hotel rooms. It provided privacy for each age level while allowing us to congregate together. Highly recommend the concept and this apartment.

We loved our stay at this apartment. The location was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked great. We could not have asked for more. If we visit Rome again we will be back!

This apartment was perfect for our family of 5. The apartment was clean, safe and the location was perfect!

Location really can't be beat. You can walk to all the major sites. There is a supermarket literally accross the street. Tons of dining options within a 10 min walk. The one downside is that construction is going on in the unit above. Pierfranco made sure that they never started before 8 and were always done by 3. That made the first two days a bit brutal as we were adjusting to jet lag. Otherwise, we loved it.

Location couldn't be better. Convenient to all major attractions. Spacious rooms. It was like having three mini apartments in one apartment. Air conditioning was excellent as it was needed when we were there. Hit almost 100F! Host super responsive and polite. Would stay here again.

Great set up with a bathroom off of each bedroom. Convenient location to key sites in Rome. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend for large families or couples wanting to share a VRBO! We took our 4 kids, 11-17 and this place was perfect. There were 3 spacious rooms that had its own back room and each separated by doors. Everyone had their own space after long days of sightseeing. It was centrally located and not too far from public transportation. Pierfranco did a great job providing info prior to check in making the check in process smooth! He also helped arrange transport from the airport.

To say we enjoyed our stay here is an understatement. From the communication from Pierfranco (which was fantastic), to the location and size of the apartment...it was in a word, incredible. Clean, with huge bedrooms and bathrooms, including 2 kitchens. Our family of 6 had more than enough room and enjoyed the apartment fully. This place is only 3 mintues from the Pantheon and more restaurants than you could ever eat at. We loved the location, the fact there was a grocery store across the small street and a wonderful Caffe just steps from the door that you can get espresso and pastries in the morning. Well done Pierfranco...you made our Rome stay a wonderful experience. Grazie Mille, Ciao!

Three of us stayed here and everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. This is very unique for such a central location and much appreciated. Everything is in walking distance and it's a perfect location to explore the major attractions in the historic center of Rome. The third bedroom doubles as the living area, so there's a compromise for that person, but it worked well for us. The corner location of the apartment on the 3rd floor (4th floor USA) provides windows on two sides that face streets. This helps to fill the apartment with light and lets you feel like you're a part of city. With the windows open, the view is straight down Via Del Gesu, so you don't feel cramped staring right at another building. The grocery store and coffee shop just outside the building on the same street were welcome bonuses to this location. I'd recommend for those looking for a central location and a roomy apartment.

A fantastic location, but a bit noisy. Our only complaint was that it wasn't well-equipped. Within a day, we had to buy toilet paper, dish soap, and paper towels.

I've never reviewed a stay before but felt I needed to since this is the first time I've experienced a late check-in fee and wanted to clarify to those who do not read Italian. The policy says check in is at 330 -this is in English but if you hit the button to look further, in Italian there is some language about being assessed a late fee if you come in later. I came in at 730 pm- I updated the manager on the time I was arriving and when I got there was assessed a 50 euro late fee.
Otherwise, the place was clean. Hot water and bathroom - great. Be careful of moving from one room to the next, there is a step dividing each room. Great location, grocery store across the street, Thai massage also across the street ( awesome), restaurants galore. It's on the 3rd floor and while there is a lift - it holds maybe 1.5 people.

Very roomy in a great location. AC didn’t work in one room. We would rent again!

The neighborhood looks kind of dirty but I did feel safe. The property was within walking distance of many restaurants, a market, and shopping locations - very central and convenient. My only complaints are that 2 of the TVs didn’t work and the AC in one of the rooms didn’t work either. I did love that each room is like it’s own apartment with its own bathroom and kitchen. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. I would recommend this property.

Great Location on Via del Gesu'
This large property has a great location, just three blocks from the Pantheon and, in the other direction, the Piazza Venezia. It had bathrooms and small kitchenettes for each of the bedrooms we rented, and one larger kitchen and dining area for the larger suite in which we stayed. Although the owner/manager did his best to provide appropriate lighting to prevent trips, the apartment has several little steps up, down, and over to get from one room to the other. One of our party took a bad fall coming out of the bathroom in the middle of the night. This required us to find and visit a doctors' office and pharmacy on the first full day we were in Rome. Although interesting (and relatively inexpensive!), it was hardly what we had planned to do with our time! You will really want to drill your party to be careful and keep a few lights on. On balance, however, it was a great place to stay!

Family Holiday in Rome.
The property is excellent. The photos do not do it justice. We had 4 adults (Parents & Grandparents) and 3 kids - a 13, 9 & 6. And we had a fantastic stay in Rome which was made better by coming home to this apartment. The apartment actually has 3 self contained studios - so each "studio" has a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchenette of varying sizes and facility. Each room is airconditioned. The bathrooms are modern with excellent hot water and water pressure. The beds are comfortable and the apartment was impeccably clean. It is on the 3rd floor with a small lift, and you would just go down one flight of stairs from this lift to the apartment level.
Location wise, it is ideal. The Pantheon is less than a 5min walk away. It is also a short walk to Piazza Navona, Fountain of Trevi and the Jewish Quarter. There is a bus stop on the corner and there is a Carrefour conveniently across the road, as well as a bakery with coffee!
Pierfranco was very easy to deal with on Whatsapp and directly on the phone. We had an issue with an air conditioner not working and he addressed this straight away and came over to fix it. He also has a smaller apartment next door if you dont have a big group like we did. We were very sad to say good bye to Rome and this apartment. I think it really added to our trip and our memories of Rome. I plan to recommend this apartment to all of my friends should they go to Rome.

"Perfect place to stay in Rome. The apartment is right in the city center, you can go by walk everywhere. Very nice decorated (not from Ikea) and everything was clean and confortable. I though it was a little bit expensive but actually it's worth it. Just the best decision we could make. I strongly recomend it."
