Located in Three Rivers, this attractive house for $275 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Shady Knoll is truly a great 'BnB'. It was created and is managed by a dedicated local Three Rivers Team. We really do care about all of our guests as you visit to "our neck of the woods". The ‘Knoll’ is located on a secluded and quiet lane only 2 miles from the Sequoia Park entrance and it really is on a Shady Knoll :) The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, spices, a blender, and a toaster, everything you would need to prepare meals in-house for those who love to cook. We also provide you with coffee and assorted teas, along with a few complimentary goodies. We provide plenty of local information and tips from your Host including where to go if you just prefer dining out! The bathrooms are always clean with plenty of fresh, clean towels. We also supply you with shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The beds are all top of the line King size and include all new linens. These beds are comfortable! We also use hypoallergenic pillow and bed protectors for your safety and comfort. The couches and the dining room table are comfortable as well. Yes, there is a large HD-tv and very good Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is good enough to stream movies 24/7 so we provide you with free Netflix! There is a BBQ on the deck and the living room is situated to take in views of the (often) snow-peaked Sierra Mountains. The views from the front and back are some of the best in Three Rivers and each is completely different. Relax on the huge back deck with a panoramic view of Moro Rock and Alta Peak! The small front deck looks over the whole town of Three Rivers. You will have a view of Eagles Peak and you can often hear the Kaweah River in the valley below. Always be on the lookout for photo ops of our local wildlife and those Selfie Shots! During your stay, you will have complete access to the home and privacy as well. If you have any questions or need anything I am available 24/7 however it is not mandatory that we meet. Most people just want privacy and of course a clean and comfortable stay. WE GIVE YOU THAT! COME STAY AT THE 'KNOLL'. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

This was a perfect slice of heaven for our stay while we visited Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The house was well equipped and very clean. The host was very attentive and made sure our needs were met. The views were incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

This property is thoughtfully decorated and appointed. We were deeply impressed by the location and the views! And because the kitchen had plenty to support cooking, we were able to successfully pull of a Thanksgiving meal with our daughter and SNL. If we had any questions, Mark, the manager, was so responsive to our calls. Thank you Mark! We would be blessed to return and enjoy more time at The Shady Knoll!

This house was much better than we expected. It was roomy and decorated well. We enjoyed the views and the night sky from the decks. We highly recommend this property if you are coming to the area. Mark communicated all necessary information quickly.

The Shady Knoll is all you need and more! The proximity to Sequoia NP is perfect. We loved that even when we got back to the house, the views didn’t stop! Watching sunset and stargazing from the porch was a major highlight! If we ever make a trip to Sequoia again, this is the only place we plan to stay.

I cannot say enough great things about The Shady Knoll!
The communication leading up to our visit was awesome, Mark made sure that we had up to date information about the National Parks and the status of the roads. And the house is just awesome, the outdoor spaces, the views, the patio built into the rocks, I could have spent a lot of time just enjoying the house, but it is just a couple of miles from Sequoia National Park, which is amazing, and then a short drive further to Kings Canyon, which is also amazing. The kitchen is great, but there are also good restaurants in town if you don't want to cook. I cannot recommend this place enough! You will not be disappointed if you choose this great place to stay!

This was a perfect house in such a quiet area. The owners were so thoughtful. The house is very well appointed. The views from all around were spectacular. Lovely places to sit and enjoy the heat of the valley and the view to the snow capped mountains beyond. We didn’t go to any of the surrounding restaurants opting to use the fantastic BBQ and all the kitchen equipment. The Generals Highway was closed and Mark provided helpful information about alternate routes. Might have to come back, travel the Generals Highway and stay again.

My family came from NC to visit Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Unfortunately due to road damage the close entrance was closed due to road damage. However Mark provided so much helpful information in advance of our trip as well as plenty of maps for us to use. It was amazingly well stocked with various kitchen amenities.
The view! The pictures do not do the view Justice. The back deck was our favorite spot for the short time we were there. Highly recommend and we hope to come back again one day!

House was perfect for what we needed. Communication with Mark was very good. Arrived and the housekeeper was just leaving. She was wonderful, she walked us around the house and showed us where everything was and was a joy to talk to. All in all this was a five star stay.!!!

This little cabin in the mountains is awesome! The location is wonderful, just outside of Sequoia National Park. The cabin itself is nicely updated. Perfect for my parents and I. 2 full bedrroms and 2 bathrooms. Very clean! The entire home was very well stocked from the kitchen to the bedrooms and bathrooms! We really enjoyed the views, spending time outside on the front and back decks and we even used the gas grill. I would highly recommend staying here when in the Three Rivers/Sequoia ares! Mark, my only suggestion would be to add some sort of writing paper and a pen or 2, but our stay was wonderful!

The Shady Knoll is the PERFECT place to stay when visiting Three Rivers, Sequoia and King’s Canyon National Parks. Our host is definitely a “ Super Host” in that all the details are lined out: excellent communication via email prior to arriving, where, how, what to do and immaculate cleanliness! All recommendations were spot on!! I could go on and on! We even received an email the first morning about the rules in the park due to snow conditions. That saved us a lot of time. If you choose to stay at the Shady Knoll, you will not be disappointed!!

The house is perfect, clean and comfortable! The outdoor spaces are beautiful and the views are excellent! We enjoyed seeing a fox, a black bear and hearing the Donkeys in the background. Great location to the park, unfortunately it closed due to mud slides and we couldn't see the trees. Oh well just means we need to come back to Three Rivers

The Shady Knoll was great. Was very nice to have condiments and spices available for cooking. The views were spectacular. Didn’t want to leave. The porch was perfect for sitting and enjoying the views. Was quiet and house was perfect for the 4 of us. Loved it!!

Gorgeous Views; Comfy Home!
We were traveling through this area and chose to rent the Shady Knoll…so glad we did! We loved getting up in the mornings and drinking our coffee on the deck watching the sunrise…the house was surrounded by mountains on all sides with views of the mountains from the front, back, and sides. The beds were so comfy and the home was well-stocked. Mark was so easy to communicate with and answered our questions, as well as gave us suggestions on where to eat and shop in the area. We highly recommend Shady Knoll in Three Rivers!!

Awesome seating areas for soaking in the beauty.
This place was absolutely amazing with numerous areas to just relax and see the beauty. The only downside was that the kitchen appears to have been overlooked in the deep cleaning process as there was food from previous visitors under the burners and the shower in one of the bathrooms had hair in it. I would still recommend booking, but would ask the owner to instruct the cleaning crew to be more thorough.

We absolutely loved the Shady Knoll! It’s surrounded by incredible mountain views which we enjoyed hanging out on the front and back porches. The VRBO pictures really don’t do it justice. The house is very comfortable inside and out with a spacious interior and big soft beds! Great location as well, only a few miles from Sequoia and restaurants. The Three Rivers locals were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely book again!!
