Located in University District, this charming condo for $90 per night is a great option for your next break. This Studio is a wonderful retreat in the middle of the vibrant University District of Seattle. Whether this is your first time visiting Seattle, or your home away from home, our Studio is in an ideal location to experience this great city. Many wonderful amenities, all with in walking distance. University of Washington Campus, Husky Stadium. ample restaurants of almost any cuisine, Childrens Hospital, Light rail station with easy access to downtown Seattle and the airport, University Farmers Market (open year round on Saturdays from 9am-2pm), and University Village shopping mall to name a few. This rental space is above our garage with a private deck and entrance. Plenty of natural light fills this comfortable, clean and inviting space. There is a King sized bed, 3/4 bathroom, WIFI, TV with ROKU connection. Tea/coffee/snacks provided. Dedicated parking available upon request for one car. Free zoned street parking is available if a car is needed but the property is located in a highly walkable area and we recommend not bringing a car. Walking, Uber/lyft and lightrail are more convenient, less expensive and less stressful than dealing with parking and traffic in Seattle! We hope you will find this the perfect home base for your time in Seattle!

For the first time ever the pictures didn't do the property justice.. We were pleasantly surprised at how perfect the property was for ous and our " city getaway". The hosts were on point for all of our needs and went above and beyond for us. A quick walk to the light rail, lots of restaurants and thrift shops nearby and not to mention the perfect walk to the Burke and the Neptune. Showing up to a our place with a bottle of wine waiting, spoiled us; we will be back. Thanks

This bright and cozy studio has everything you would need for a super comfortable stay in the Universtiy district in Seattle. It’s close to the light rail, too, so you can leave your car parked at the studio. Kristi is fantastic host as well.

It was the perfect location for the two of us. Quiet, and we felt very safe. The place was super nice. Everything is detailed and written down on things and instructions.cafe, soaps, shampoo and conditioner is provided. We even got to see Puddles, their pet rabbit. Neighbor hood is great. It is walking distance to very good places and even a small Target.

This is a perfect arrangement above the garage at the rear of a property in a great neighborhood. Kristi is a very good communicator and the amenities are excellent. I'll return!

This studio was very cute, good size, and the bed was very comfortable! We slept very well. The bathroom was not as clean as I would’ve liked, but it was fine for the two nights we were there. If there was one bit of feedback I’d leave for the owner, it would be to provide dishes, silverware, glasses. It only had two tiny coffee cups, two small tumblers, two knives, one spoon, one fork. A full dish set of four would be ideal so we could eat meals there.

Pros: Quiet neighborhood; walking distance to bus routes and some dining; comfortable king bed; clean; coffee maker in the room; a few snacks; owner responded promptly to messages during the stay. Cons: None really, as long as you understand this isn't a hotel. There's no closet, and the one side chair is a style where you sink in (sort of like a hammock).

The location worked out very well with our needs. The room was perfect for us on this visit as we did not need to have any meals in our room. The bed is very comfortable. There are steps involved to get to the room, but that was not a problem for us.

We loved our stay here! The neighborhood is so charming and the space itself was very accessible and welcoming. The owners were so lovely to leave a kind note for us when we arrived which kicked off our comfortable stay. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone traveling solo or with one other person! Being first time travelers to Seattle, my husband and I were thrilled to be staying in such a cute and quaint little apartment/suite. It has everything you could possibly need (except for a microwave and/or stove). When we travel we like to eat out at local places we can’t get at home so that was not a problem for us at all. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. We ordered pizza one night (was forced to eat half since I couldn’t warm it up later) *wink wink* (okay, really I’m just fat! Ha!) There was a mini-fridge available. There also was a white noise machine! I brought my mini fan with me for this very reason... I’ve never stayed somewhere that provided this for me! The bed was very firm and I’m use to a really soft mattress that I can sink into. However, I never woke up stiff so maybe that’s what I’ve been missing all my life?! If I ever visit Seattle again I would check to see if this space would be available before booking elsewhere. Excellent hosts, excellent space, excellent location. Thank you for welcoming us into your home!

Gorgeous neighborhood with large older homes and tree-lined streets, extremely quiet during our stay. Beautiful and clean apartment perfect for our long weekend. Loved attached deck, lovely for a glass of wine and reading in the evening. The bed was super comfortable and cozy. Just couldn't ask for more! Thank you!

This place was perfect for our needs. Small, but warm, sunny and very clean. Kristi and family were welcoming, very accommodating and attentive to our needs. 5221 17th Ave was absolutely perfect for our trip to Seattle! The studio was as described, comfortable, clean, amazing host! Easy to get anywhere, Kristi was there to help w any questions and make great recommendations! Snacks were left and drinks in the fridge which were so appreciated after a long day of travel!
