Situated in Prescott, this lovely house for $215 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. "Our Craftsman Home" is the perfect escape from the Phoenix or Las Vegas Summer Heat, or a quick weekend getaway into the Mountain Pines. 1.5 hours from Phoenix, 3 hours from Las Vegas, 5.5 hours from Los Angeles/Orange County. One mile to Whisky Row.... Feels like home, light & bright, open up the house during the summer for a nice breeze, or get the fireplace going during those colder times. There’s a nice patio deck off the kitchen for morning coffee, getting some fresh air or just enjoying the view. Rural feeling surrounded by natural landscaping and trees, yet walking distance to all your needs, including Downtown Whisky Row & the Courthouse Square. Drive-in from Los Angeles, Phoenix or Las Vegas. Or fly in on Great Lakes Airlines. Check your city for direct flights. Once you get to the house, you can walk or ride a bike to wherever you need to get to. Kick back in a beautifully furnished home walking distance to all that Prescott has to offer. The Craftsman Home has a first floor bedroom with a king size bed, ceiling fan, clock radio with docking station for your I-phone or USB for any other phone. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs one with a queen size bed the other with a full size, dressers, ceiling fans and large closets. You can stay home and cook meals in the fully equipped, modern kitchen. There is a front porch with rocking chairs to quietly sit and read a book or to enjoy a glass of wine with a friend. The yard is professionally landscaped with solar lighting guiding you along a walking path in the back yard. The patio has a Weber barbecue grill and seating for up to eight people. It’s a great location for entertaining whether serving meals or stargazing on a cool summer evening. There is a bathroom on each floor, full size washer & dryer, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The weather in Prescott is hard to beat: more than 300 days of sunshine with four distinct seasons due to the 5400 feet elevation. The town square has various boutiques, open-air bistros, numerous restaurants, live entertainment nightly, theaters, art shows, film festivals, craft fairs and outdoor concerts. It’s also the Christmas capital of Arizona with activities galore during the holiday season. Never a dull moment… check out the “Things to DO” at www.prescott.com. This website will update you with attractions, tours, outdoor recreation, winery tours, shopping, casinos and special events. There are hiking and biking trails for the outdoor enthusiast along with bike shops that will rent equipment to you and your family. We have trail maps and menus along with suggestions of places to visit. Prescott was the first capital of the territory of Arizona and is home to the Prescott National Forest. This is pine tree country with scenic crystal clear mountain lakes and it provides activities that are fun and picturesque beyond words. Watson Lake is 4 miles from home and one of our favorite places to go as it features fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, camping and day picnicking.

The bedding was fabulous and the place was equipped with everything you needed - we went out to establishments but it is set up for full course BBQs or dinners on the patio !

We have rented several properties through the years. Some are okay, some not so good, and some so exceptional that you don't want to keep it all to yourself and not tell anyone else about it. Lol! But that wouldn't be fair. Anyway, this gem is one of the exceptional ones. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and appointed with everything we needed and then some. The location was excellent. We walked to the old downtown for breakfast (there is a big hill). I would love to go back when the weather was warmer to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor areas. As for Prescott, it was really lovely. Lots of good restaurants and nice shops. Great Christmas lights. We did some hiking, rented e-bikes and rode the Peavine Trail, took a four-hour train ride through the Verde Canyon, visited Jerome. Overall, a great vacation. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We would love to come back.

The house was beautiful. Lovely wood throughout, and very well decorated. Two bathrooms upstairs, I didn't go downstairs (handicapped). Close to everything we wanted to go to.
A set of expected keys was missing when we let ourselves in (per instructions), and the manager never brought them to us as we requested - but we didn't end up needing them, so no huge deal. There is plenty of space - very little noise reduction between floors, but not a big concern for just the two of us - my husband just practiced his horn downstairs while I was awake.
We saw a small herd of wild pigs with babies (peccaries) from the breakfast balcony, and a couple humming birds. Nice addition to the stay.

The home is beautifully decorated and has great amenities. It was perfect for 2 couples with a bedroom upstairs and downstairs. Everyone had their own space but also great living spaces to hang out together. It’s also in a good location and it was easy to get anywhere we wanted to go.

We visited this property and Prescott for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The house is located in a cute neighborhood within walking distance to shops, galleries and restaurants. We enjoyed taking a day trip to a mining town called Jerome. All in all our trip was most enjoyable.

Adult daughter and I arrived after dark. Check in process was easy. The home was very clean, neat, beautifully decorated. The floor plan is unique in that only the primary bedroom is on the main floor with two bedrooms and bath on the lower level. The stairway down is carpeted and has natural light streaming in during the day. Each bedroom has plenty of light, nicely furnished.
The kitchen was open to the family room, well appointed, easy access storage (frankly, I still have "storage envy"), two coffee pots, quality pans. There was beer in the fridge and a bottle of wine on the counter, a welcome touch.
We did not get involved with trying to figure out too much about the Direct TV. There are numerous games and CD's/movies.
The Primary Suite had a wonderful large closet, king size comfortable bed, peaceful attractive decor. The large shower was a real treat. The bathroom ceiling heater was a nice feature.
There was a light snowfall on the numerous trees outside the back windows which made for a magnificent view. It had been years since we were in snow.
We were in town for a wedding rehersal and wedding the following day. We discussed shopping in downtown Prescott, but in the end we spent our extra time relaxing and enjoying the lovely home.
Having use of the garage made it extra easy to unload/load the car. We had a mid-size SUV and recommend backing into the garage for easy removal of items from the way back.
We appreciated the opportunity to rest and relax before returning to the Phoenix Valley.

The location was perfect. The house was cozy, comfortable and perfect for us. During the day we were able to walk to historic downtown, and enjoy the stores, restaurants, and events that were offered there. Moreover, we were able to walk to the Safeway to shop for groceries. All of this allowed us to have nightly home cooked dinners, play games , watch movies, and create long lasting shared memories. I highly recommend this property.

Escape from the heat
This home is great for a small family gathering. My mom however couldn't manage the stairs to the lower level, so thankfully the four of us could hang out on the deck off the kitchen. It is an easy walk to Whiskey Row, if you are able bodied.

Lovely home, very convenient to our work location and worked well for 3 couples. Home has main floor master and 2 other bedrooms on the lower level, down a flight of stairs. Patio in the rear lower level, one off the kitchen, and front porch, all with comfortable chairs.
