Just 5 minutes drive from skiing at Heavenly or 24 hour casino nightlife, this exceptional rental is sure to please! The home has been completely remodeled with new kitchen, appliances, floors, bathrooms and more! You will be sitting directly on the beach with amazing views of Lake Tahoe from the living room, kitchen, and deck! 1 mile of private beachfront allows for the perfect vacation. Plus there is a summer community pool, year-round community hot tub, tennis courts, and more! This is one amazing rental so book now! THE PROPERTY:
The property was average with some updating needed.
PROs:
- Great set of bathrooms for the number of rooms.
- Lots of cooking utensils and cookware.
- Backdoor opens right up to the lake. Great for the Summer time. We went in Winter and our family had great access to plenty of snow for snow activities (snowmen building, snowball fights, building your own sledding route)
- Comfortable beds
- Condo was relatively clean
- Parking garage available at no additional cost. 2 parking spaces available.
CONs/Room for Improvement:
- the air filter hasn’t been changed in awhile so everyone in our group got bad allergies from the dust being blown around. We didn’t know what was causing it until we noticed that our allergies all got worse every time the heater was on. My husband looked at the air filter and it was extremely dirty and full of dust.
- Cooking utensils like cutting knives need to be updated for safety. Every cutting knife was not easy to use due to dullness or being broken.
- A mat or something by the backdoor for snowshoes or wet shoes (during the summer) would be helpful in keeping the snow/wetness from traveling into the home.
- The number of toiletries available. You receive a small travel size container for all toiletries including dish soap. You have the option of driving to the office to get more but is inconvenient since it’s a 5 - 10 min drive from the property.
- The heat did not travel evenly throughout the house. The downstairs rooms get very hot while the rest of the house stays cold and gets colder the higher up you go. We tried to find vents for the upstairs room to help get more warmth on the top floor but we’re unable to find any.
- There we’re only two extra blankets for a total of 7 beds and since the heat didn’t travel well, most of us did not sleep well… either too hot or too cold.

I would say the best part of the whole experience was the exceptional customer service. They were very responsive and provided great support. I was able to text someone directly which helped a lot for check in and check out. I greatly appreciated how well taken care of we felt.
The property needs some minor improvements that can make a big difference in someone’s stay. Hope that this helps future stays!

The lake view was gorgeous!!! Easy beach access!!! You can’t beat the location.
The condo on the other hand needs some maintenance, the carpet has dirty spots everywhere and is heavily stained. Especially all around the beds. Some of the appliances did not work
and the kitchen has very little supplies including knives. The cookie sheets were dirty as well. Overall the place is very dirty.

We've stayed here before and absolutely love the location. Back door to sand & beach. This trip was snow. Condo is large. At night we had heating issues because some rooms were freezing and some too hot. Some of the bedding was used & dirty. We had a fantastic time and will probably go again

Family Thanksgiving
We had a wonderful trip. It was Thanksgiving and the condo had everything we needed to make a large family dinner.

Our family had a great time hanging out at the beach right outside of this home. Our only recommendation would be to include more pillows and ensure there are enough pillowcases. The carpet can probably use a cleaning too, but that was no big deal.

We stayed in this condo for a week. It was steps to the sand with spectacular views. The condo is spacious and there was plenty of room for everyone to have this own space. The location is spectacular. The large sectional in the living room is VERY comfortable and allows adequate seating for the whole family. The only negatives were the beds, dryer and lack of quality pots and pans for cooking and serveware. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. One of the beds downstairs was broken as if someone had jumped from one bed to the next and literally broke the frame causing it to practically fold on you if you try to lay on that side so the double bed can only hold one on the far edge of one side which makes this home sleep 11, not 12. This needs to be replaced immediately (and I'm guessing probably years ago). The other beds were very hard and uncomfortable. For the price I would expect much higher quality beds and not broken beds. One bed had dried blood on the pillow and the other bed had black streaks like someone's makeup. Both were clearly not laundered. We washed linens. but the dryer is so old and doesn't work properly and takes about three to four cycles to dry one load. This made it so laundry was not really something we could do and needs to be replaced. The kitchen was not well appointed for cooking as we had planned to save money. Also the property management had told us there was a bbq and community bbq's which there was not. I would strongly recommend a bbq on the deck so families can grill in summer. With all that being said, the location was absolutely wonderful, the condo was well laid out and felt like home and we had a great stay. Thankfully we were so tired after playing on the beach and in the lake all day we fell asleep quickly in the very uncomfortable beds. I would still recommend this place to others but it is very pricey as you pay for the beachfront location and hope they will make some upgrades to match the price. For the price I would strongly encourage the owners to replace the broken bed and upgrade the low quality beds and replace the dryer. Also housekeeping needs to do a better job when turning the house over for new guests especially in regards to bed linens and quilts/comforters. Whoever owns this property is very lucky as it is really dreamy! We will cherish the memories we made always.

We had to call to have our trash removed. They came once the whole week (after I called), even though the contract said daily.
We had some other maintenance issues - door handle broken (I called and they fixed), garbage disposal switch broken, re-caulking needed at sinks, dryer doesn't dry unless you run it 2-3 times

This place was amazing, but when I went to check in I had to drive down the road. There was no email informing me of a different check in location. I booked through VRBO but it was actually through lake Tahoe accommodations.
