The property was better than the pictures in listing. Unit was Clean, neat and well appointed. One short block from the beach. Two short blocks to shops along the strip. The property is ideally located. I would definitely stay here again.

The property is just perfect for two people. It was awesome that it is located literally 425 feet from the ocean. We coulld see the water from the second floor balcony. It was close to shops, restaurants and the highway. The bed was super comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. We highly recommend it.

Great location with partial ocean views. Interior appliances and furniture were nice. Walls were a bit thin, which wasn’t an issue until our last night when very loud neighbors checked in below us - this didn’t detract from the experience overall.

Our 3 night stay last weekend was just as nice as our June 2022 visit. We had everything we needed for a relaxing, trouble-free stay in a great location near the beach and town center. We will be repeat customers for as long as we have family in Carlsbad.

This apartment was lovely and very clean. The host was amazing, helping us to manage an unexpected 3 day delay of our flight home. The location was really nice and very close to the beach. We will definitely stay again.

We had stayed previously ( before Covid) so knew what we were getting - location to Village and Beach.

I am a clean freak and this place was spotless. We loved it and how close it was to everything. We stay a lot at VBRO’s and honestly this is the best one yet! Thank you and we can’t wait to come back.

From day 1, the tub was clogged and drained very slow. When I reported it, owner sent someone to fix it without notifying us they would be entering the apartment. When I complained, she didn't understand this was an issue to have someone enter property without notice. She told me she has too many properties to call the renter and let them know someone will be entering the property. We should all have such problems! I hate to think what would have happened if some stranger entered the apartment while I was there sleeping or showering. The bathroom sink has zero water pressure even if you turn on both taps full blast. The toilet hardly flushes because the water flow is so weak. After staying at the property for 3 more days, we woke up Monday morning to a warm refrigerator. When I sent another complaint to the owner, she said someone looked at it (again without notifying me that someone would be entering the property) and the fridge is fine. I had to reiterate that our food was warm and it wasn't working. She sent the prop mgr this time. All our food has gone bad by this point. We had to throw out $100 worth of food plus eat out for every meal, which defeats the purpose of having a kitchen to cook in and a fridge for food. They pulled the fridge out and left it open in the middle of the rental overnight. Then some guy in grubby shorts who said he was with the property management company came in with a screwdriver and closed the door and plugged it back in the next day. When I spoke to owner on the phone after this about compensating us for the food we lost, she refused. She said "you left the door open". Mind you, she never set foot in the property and we didn't leave the door open. I'm not two. I know how to close a fridge. She says this is what her "technician" (see old guy in shorts with screwdriver) says. And he was the same one that told us she would refund our food costs if we called her. Now she claims to VRBO that the fridge works so she shouldn't have to compensate. Yes, it works now but she disregards the fact it didn't work for almost 48 hours. Location is great but sometimes staying in a nice location is not worth it when the owner is a terrible business person who does not understand that her lack of providing a fully functioning refrigerator ruined the back half of our trip. So stay elsewhere or be warned that any issues you bring up will only result in you paying the price (literally).

We love the location and plan to stay here again next time we are going to try to get a downstairs just because we had baby stuff if it’s a pain to move upstairs, but I would have to recommend this for others families. You are so close to the beach and watching all the sunsets

Perfect accommodations- has everything you would want for a beach vacation. Close to the beach, all necessary beach items provided (chairs, umbrella, even a wagon). Love Carlsbad very walkable willage with great restaurants

Close to everything that the Village of Carlsbad has to offer…close as in right in the thick of it. Clean, comfortable, well equipped…perfect for a couple. Loved it and we’ll be back.

Very nice apartment with excellent location! My husband and I visited Carlsbad with our 4 yr old and the place worked out great. It is a little tight, the shower in particular seemed kind of small/narrow but everything was updated and looked really nice. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment to cook a few easy meals. If you do plan to cook bring any spices as the place only has salt, pepper, and a bit of olive oil. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach was just across the street. I would stay again just for the location and value. The balcony was great for relaxing and. The ocean view was just a sliver of a view but still nice and you could hear the waves at night out on the balcony. We really enjoyed our time here! Beach supplies: Our bin of beach supplies was missing beach toys, umbrella, and wagon. Luckily we brought our wagon and beach toys from home but if we hadn't I probably would have been more disappointed by that. They did provide towels but they seemed more like bath towels than beach ones which isn't a big deal but they weren't very big.

We were a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Easy access to the coast highway as well as the freeway into San Diego. The rental was clean, updated and quiet. Secure parking or convenient street parking. We enjoyed our stay!

My daughter, granddaughter and I loved this little condo. It was beautifully renovated and had so many nice touches. For example my granddaughter loved the hideabed. It had a REAL mattress instead of the box spring mattress she usually gets stuck sleeping on. The king bed was comfy too. All the beach supplies and luxury towels made our trip to the beach so easy and comfortable. The pots and pans were high quality. We felt very safe in the neighborhood too. We’d definitely stay here again.
