The Oceanfront Pelican Watch community is a next-door stroll to the locally loved Ocean Grill and Tiki Bar. Get your exercise in the indoor community pool, or at the outdoor pool in Summer. Our boardwalk to the beach is shared only with other community guests. The building is served by an elevator. Downstairs, there is an indoor pool, and spa. Another pool lies outside along with a grilling and picnic area perfect for outdoor entertaining. Additionally, around-the-clock security helps residents, visitors, and their guests feel safe at all times. Pelican Watch offers residents an easy walk, jog, bike, or drive to either beach pier, as it is midway between the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and the Kure Beach Pier. Pelican Watch is an outstanding community whose level of amenities and features makes it one of the best in the condo complexes in the area. Ground Level: Eleven Story condo complex, Elevator, Outdoor Stairwells at each end of the building, free dedicated parking lot with overflow lot, lobby, indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, outdoor pool, party sun deck, beach boardwalk. Two Charcoal Grills in the yard area. Property Level: Living Room: TV, 2 chairs, sofa Dining Room: Table w/ 4 chairs Kitchen: Upgraded appliances, bar seating for 2 Primary Bedroom Suite: King bed, TV, Deck access. Ensuite Bathroom with Walk-in shower Bedroom 2: Queen bed, TV Bedroom 3: Twin bed with Twin Trundle Bathroom 2: Shower/tub combo Washer and Dryer Parking 2 Parking passes provided Parking lot available across the street Rental Policies: In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement. Arrival/Departure: Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4:00 pm and are guaranteed by 6:00 pm Off Season Check-Ins begin at 3:00 pm and are guaranteed by 5:00 pm Chack Out is by 10:00 am We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early early or plan to delay your departure. Hard Key Lock Entry. You will need to stop by our office to pick up a key. House Rules: No events such as weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, sororities/fraternities No Smoking Pet Policy: No Pets Allowed Cancellation Policy: - Free cancellation within 48 hours of booking - After 48 hours of booking and more than 60 days out from arrival, a full refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee - After 48 hours of booking and within 60 days of arrival, there will be no refund processed unless the dates are re rented. If premises are re rented, a refund will be processed less a $300 cancellation fee. Things To Do: Adventure awaits. Discover aquatic wildlife and vegetation at the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher or enjoy a relaxing ferry ride across the Cape Fear River to a quaint little shopping town called Southport. Take a trip back in time at the Fort Fisher State Historic Site and Museum which features live oak covered trails and bunkers from the American Civil War. Stroll through the marsh to visit the home of the famous Ft. Fisher Hermit. Loved the location and the easy access to the beach and pools. Sea Coast Rentals was awesome. I usually like working with owners instead of rental agencies due to bad experiences, but they accommodated every request and even brought us donuts on the last day!

Tenth floor gives a unique view of the beach and views of pelicans and birds that are very special. Accommodations were nice and sufficient for our needs.

The overall was good. The elevators were awful and a few issues with draining in the second bath. Please look at your sliding door off the living room. It's a bear to open and close. Had lots of great qualities.

The property itself was very beautiful, very clean, and refreshing to stay in. My girls and I had a fabulous time and felt comfortable the entire time. We really enjoyed the balcony and oceanfront view the most. It was a great property!

Not actually here, but lovely!
We weren't able to stay at the original property listed here because of fire hazard updates that was going on for the entire building. We were notified of this a week before our vacation. Sea Coast Rental did find and offer us a couple of alternate properties. We chose one (Shore Enough, Kure Beach) which was just lovely and we're grateful to Sea Coast Rental for all their help and open communication.

Perfect view, so easy to get on the beach, no long walk to access points. Management was very communicative, easy to reach, responsive, and helpful. The area was so close to tons of places for food and entertainment but not too close that it caused any issues.

We had two fireman and a nurse and their spouses. None of us were off all the days of our stay, so driving separately. We spent a total of $397 for parking vehicles beyond the two allowed passes. Great for families who can all ride together and stay the whole time, but that wasn’t our situation. Beach access was great, place was nice, and lots of great food minutes away.

Sisters-in-law trip
We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Watch! Our unit was 3 bed 2 bath. We had an issue with the shower in the master bath and after several phone calls and a visit to the realty company, our shower was fixed by Vincent from Suncoast Realty. He gets a million atta-boys from us for fixing our shower!!! Had it not been for Vincent, it would not have been fixed until the day we were leaving. The unit had everything we needed and the location was perfect with great views of ocean and beautiful sunrises!! Would stay again!!
