Relax on the covered porch and let the sound of the ocean and breeze take you to another time. At night they will lull you to sleep. Sleeps ten, has 4 queen/full size & 2 twin beds. We love staying here. Would only ask for a coffee maker that you could read and a small nonstick skillet. Great location with beautiful views of beach. Hoping to come back next year.

On the beach with a road behind that sees minimal traffic. Stayed on the top floor suite and had a great view of the beach. Some of the house could use some updating or repair but otherwise it was a great spot. The biggest negative was we had to wash the towels before we left and pay a cleaning fee on top of that.

The house was very clean. Easy access to the beach. The dune was a little steep. There were some updates needed. Enjoyed our time. The house did a lot of swaying. I would rate my vacation at 10.

This is our 4th stay at Alice's Legasea since 2009. It was very comfortable for my rambunctious 3-generation family. We appreciated the upgrades and found everything we needed in the kitchen for family meal prep. It is so well situated, close but not too close to the boardwalk (3 visits to Britt's!) The lake (we enjoyed food truck Thursday), and a short ride to the NC aquarium. We love Carolina Beach and will be back, hopefully with another visit to Alice's Legasea.

Everything was great! The only downside is it was the upstairs condo and it was rough climbing the stairs. But that has nothing to do with condo. We had a wonderful weekend!!

Nick’s condo is just steps away from the beach, with a beautiful view from the balcony. Our family of 7 adults and 2 kiddos stayed here comfortably with enough space to not feel crowded. The centralized kitchen and living room make it easy to hangout and was perfect for fixing meals. The beds were comfy and kitchen was well stocked with supplies. The only two items of note are 1) this is a top story unit, so if you aren’t a fan of stairs, this may not be the place for you. We didn’t mind but our older family members grumbled a little bit :) and 2) plan to give yourself enough time to follow the checkout process. This is the first place we’ve had to wash, dry, and put away the dishes and towels, which makes me a bit nervous that it doesn’t always get done properly by guests who are in a hurry. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I’d rent this location again.

Lovely, spacious condo with open floor plan (kitchen, dining room, living room) and 4 nicely sized bedrooms. The owner is very kind and responsive. And the location, right on the beach, was perfect. We had a wonderful time here!

Our family gathered at Carolina Beach to spend time together. This home was perfect for us. The location couldn't have been better. My grandson liked the private beach access. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The kitchen was well- equipped. We enjoyed the large sofa in the living room. Best of all was the view. Sunrise was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was right on the beach and convenient to everything. Would definitely stay there again. Only issue was the stove...there was a huge crack in the front left eye and the front right one only cooked on high. We didn't really cook much so wasn't a big issue. Didn't mention to property owner as we figured he was aware as it had been cleaned before we got there. But when we did talk he was very polite and easy to talk to.

This house was perfect for our family get away weekend. If you want something affordable that is oceanfront this is a great property. Of course in order to keep the listing price affordable there are a few things you sacrifice and you may have to do a little cleaning and dishes that you wouldn’t somewhere else, but that’s all apart of the price. Beautiful ocean view and check in/out and communication with the owner was a breeze. We will definitely be back!

Overall it was pretty good , but there were few things we didn’t feel happy with: first: tenants on the bottom floor complained about our kids been too noisy, it was vacation , so the kids were having a very good time. Second: I’ve never been in a place we’re we need to wash the towels and let them folded, besides , the drier was no all that good, it took forever to dry them . Third: we had fo put away the clean dishes in the cupboards, I don’t think those should be part of a rental agreement, there’s a reason why we’re charged for cleaning crew, then what’s the purpose of it. Pots and pans were very old and burnt.
