Situated in Carolina Beach, this attractive house for $392 per night is a great option for your next break. Relax and leave all your worries behind! Just steps to the beach and no roads to cross! Escape the stress of making sure you have everything packed before heading off to the beach. This property is as convenient as oceanfront but without the high oceanfront prices! Sit on the deck to watch the beautiful sunrise over the beach, then walk to Granny's Country Kitchen for a delicious hearty breakfast in the morning. Spend the day at the beach relaxing, maybe catch a wave or two, build some sandcastles with the kids, and then walk over to Ocean Grill's Tiki Bar for a few relaxing drinks. Check out the rides, arcade and the array of delicious food at the boardwark in the early evening. On Sunday nights in summer, Carolina Lake across from the boardwalk offers free movies at the park in the summer. On the short walk up to the boardwalk & lake, head into Pops ice cream and pick up a special treat for the family. Can life get any better? This is a 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom stand alone townhouse located oceanside at North Carolina Ave. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, TV and built in closet. Free wireless internet. Ground level: Hot/cold outdoor shower. Small outdoor closet for beach equipment. Undercover parking for 3 vehicles plus a space next to house to park a boat or additional vehicle. Level 1: Fully equipped Kitchen/Dining for 8, plus a bench table for up to 6 kids/adults; Living room with Queen sleeper sofa and TV/VCR/DVD/NetFlix - cable TV has free on demand feature, walk out to the covered deck; Full size bed in bedroom with own bathroom, deck access and TV; Laundry room with washer & dryer; Half bath in hall. Level 2: 4 bedrooms; Two Queen size master suites with full bathroom and TV/DVD/Netflix; Two Queen/Twin bunk with full bathroom and TV/DVD. Free Wi-Fi. Non-Smoking. Rents Saturday to Saturday during summer season. Please contact owner first if not renting Saturday to Saturday. Cats & Small-Medium sized dogs are welcome! (Subject to pet fee)

Our group of 12 adults and 2 youth found Leeward more than met our needs. Large enough that we could spread out, also space for us to gather together. The short walk to the beach without having to navigate road traffic was a blessing. A rarity, the kitchen was well appointed with pots/pans and dinnerware sufficient for a larger group.
Kure/Carolina has been our choice for more than 40 years, and Leeward helped continue that tradition.

The house was located perfectly for our large group and small kids since we didn’t have to cross any roads and we’re right by the ocean! You could hear it from the deck at night and see it during the day. My only small complaint was the downstairs bed, it was hard as a rock. Still didn’t stop us from enjoying the place and having the best time!! Property manager was easy to contact and super nice and helpful. We will be back again!!

We had such an easy walk to the beach or to Granny's for breakfast, ice cream shop, or a tiki bar. Or jump in the car and in a mile you can be in the center of restaurants, rides, shops. Traffic wasn't so bad and everyone is friendly. The house is roomy so everyone can spread out.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The rooms and bathroom set up is perfect for families. However there were quite a few things that needed fixing and small renovations. Two of the bedroom doors did not shut (One completely off the hinge and had to stay open the whole time. Hooks in the bathroom were hanging or missing. These are the few things I remember. Also, I highly suggest looking into a new cleaning company. The floors were a little gross and we had to move the couch once and it was disgusting and had not been clean in forever. Those things need some work. Other than that we truly loved our stay and the closeness to the beach and town. We would stay here again! Thanks so much!

Nice property and roomy. Could use some up grades. Pillows could have been washed, Stains on them. Pull out coach had no sheets and very uncomfortable. Cleaning crew could have done a better job, floor were still sandy and bottom door sill moves, because you can slip. Like I said, nice property close to beach and roomy for a big party just needs some upgrades.

Wish there were some portable cots, so we didn't have to bring air mattress for one kid. Kids do not want to share beds. Overall we had an awesome vacation in this house.

So nice not to have any streets to cross to get to the beach, especially with little kids! Everyone had their own bathroom, the house was clean, and the host responded quickly to any issues! Convenient laundry, nice porch with seating, and we loved having the hot/cold shower downstairs! We hope we can come back again!

Super Close to the Beach!
If you love heading to the beach and then being able to run back and forth throughout the day/night when you need to, you are literally <50 yards away with no busy streets to navigate. You can see the house from your chair on the beach! Sunrises were awesome. Yoga on the beach just steps away as well.
Having a bathroom for each bedroom was great + a half bath.
Note: Because the main drag through town is just on the other side (west side) of the home, those with youngsters will need to keep them close, just from a traffic standpoint. Otherwise, once you cross the street, you then have fairly quiet streets available for morning walks and the like (if not on the beach).

Great vacation home
We had another house booked, but they sold it, so we had to find another house which isn't easy for 11 people and doesn't cost us a fortune. We found this house and took a chance since there were not a lot of properties in our price range available. We all really liked this house. The little walk to the beach access was very manageable with children and all the toys they need for the sand. Kitchen and pantry were very well stocked. Large choice of puzzles and games for children. Nice surprise was the amount of chairs and toys in the beach storage closet. Next time we will not have to bring as much. Only complaint was that the front stairway and 1/2 bath had a mildew smell. Everyone said they would like to stay here next year too

Great House!
Great location and the house was a great size for our group of 10! Every room with a bathroom provided great convenience and we didn’t know there was an outdoor shower until we got there. It had everything we needed for our stay.

Nice place
The only negative thing with this property is the sliding glass door to the porch. It is EXTREMELY difficult to open/close. I suffered an AC sprain from it.

It was great even tho the family and I only stayed one night. Has everything you need fresh linens towels enough space for the kids and adults definitely book this place again stay longer

Close to beach. Adjoining bathrooms for all bedrooms. Easy and close beach access. Short walk to the boardwalk! Not fancy but had all we needed for our group
of 12.
Owners were responsive to our needs and were accomadating with a few minor issues that arose during our stay.
Kitchen well stocked. Beds comfy. Grill, outdoor porch.

Cozy home
The wifi was slow and the kids kept getting kicked off Netflix. There was only 1 TV that we could watch television on. There was no yard for outdoor activities. House was nice sized. Nice having a bathroom in every bedroom. Trash and recycle procedures were extremely confusing. Not enough garbage cans for a family that is starting a full week, especially when cans are full before you arrive. Management and maintenance team was on top of things a d that's always appreciated.

Family Vacation
This was by far one of the best places we have had in awhile. The house is perfect and very spacious and welcoming. We are already planning next year. The walk to the beach is perfect.

Great location!
Liked the house very much. Next to beach entrance and you could see ocean from the deck. We were a family of only 4 so there was plenty of room, however if you were a lot more people the living room might be small. Also if you need wifi it was very slow, worked but my husband was trying to do some work and said it was slow. We have teenagers so the road next to the house was the main road leading up and down the island was great for us, but if you have little kids you need to be careful the car go fast. The house had extra item like laundry detergent, coffee and some of the basic like paper towels and toilet paper so the was very nice. The location was great for us. We had a dog with us and it was very easy to cross the street and walk him in the quiet neighborhood next to us. This was the quieter part of the island and you could walk to the tiki bar two house way, very good food and drinks. Would stay here again!
