About this house rental
Located in Guerneville, this lovely house for $322 per night is a great choice for your next break. Experience the beauty of the Russian River Valley wine country at Redwood Lane Retreat! Situated high above the Drake Estates neighborhood, offering breathtaking views of Williams Selyem Vineyards and Drake's Apple Orchards, this well-appointed home features rich hardwood floors, an open kitchen and dining area, as well as a stone wood-burning fireplace. Off the dining and living room area are sliding glass doors leading to a large sunny deck with outdoor dining, gas grill and gorgeous views. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, complete with a wine cooler. The master bedroom has its own private bathroom with a walk-in tile shower with double showerheads and a rain showerhead. The home stays warm in the winter with central forced air heating and cool in the summer with air conditioning. A bottle of complimentary wine is waiting for you! Just sit back and relax with a great glass of wine on the expansive deck overlooking vineyards and apple orchards. Or take a short 2.5 block walk to visit Drake's neighborhood beach on the Russian River. Redwood Lane Retreat is located approximately 2 miles from downtown Guerneville. It is a 15 minute drive to many Russian River Valley wineries and the Sonoma Coast. Know Before You Book: Maximum Occupancy and Quiet Hours: The maximum occupancy at Redwood Lane Retreat is 6. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Outdoor amplified sound is prohibited at any time. Parking: There is room in the driveway for up to 2 cars, and street parking is available on a first-come first-served basis. (Garage is used for storage and not available for parking ). RVs, trailers and campers are prohibited, per the Sonoma County Vacation Rental Ordinance. Given its closeness to many Sonoma wineries and the town of Guernville, I'd give this home a 4.5 star review.
Large master bedroom with two separate rooms downstairs w beds provided plenty of privacy for all guests.
The kitchen was very extremely well stocked with all many cabinet condiments and utensils. Grill outdoors was a plus.
Having many extra towels and blankets another plus.
The view itself was a 4 star only as it wasn't the amazing view we'd hoped for of Vineyards, but not a big deal considering all the perks, benefits and privacy this home provided. We'd visit again.

Had a nice stay in this very clean and well maintained home. Property was nestled in large redwoods, but also had a nice open deck. Being a little off the beaten path made it very quiet and private.

Everything about this house is awesome! It was the perfect size for our family of 6 adults and we really enjoyed hanging out on the large deck. The kitchen is also extremely nice and well stocked. We loved it!

Great place to stay away from the "city" to relax and enjoy the views after days of wine tasting. Love the house despite it being on a hill. Perfect getaway for our first "Girls Trip Ever."
The deck offers some beautiful views to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine.

We enjoyed our short stay on Redwood Ln. It’s a beautiful home with a lovely and peaceful deck. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The driveway is a bit challenging (steep) depending on your car. The cooking pans need to be replaced, we had trouble finding one in decent condition to make breakfast.

Thoughtfully appointed home. Tastefully decorated; feels like home. Fabulous deck with great views. A bit longer of a drive to town than we’d anticipated by looking at a map, but the house was so comfortable we spent most of our time there. Would recommend!

What a lovely home! Great layout for families (especially with a napping child). 5 minute walk to great river beach. Pee wee golf and playground down the street! Lovely deco and fully stocked kitchen. Highly recommend for families. Very kid friendly.

We've stayed over New Year's twice at this house and have loved our stay each time. The house is spacious, nicely-decorated, comfortable and well-equipped. It's a bit far from town, but the location is perfectly manageable.

The house is about an 8 minute drive to "downtown" Guerneville, and a few minutes further gets you to the glorious hiking trails of Armstrong Woods.
It was nicely furnished with a well-stocked kitchen and a sweet wood-burning fireplace.
The yard is fenced-in all around, so dogs can run around safely. Our dogs loved romping around in the woodsy soil.
The layout is a bit odd if you enjoy watching TV., but easily remedied by moving the sofa. We asked the rental management company to remove the many (many) Christmas decorations (it wasn't even Thanksgiving yet), including a sizable tree blocking views of the mountains, and they came the next day with no questions asked.
All in all, a great experience. We will be back for sure!

This home was well furnished, very comfortable, and in a beautiful redwood setting. The kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled beautifully and function perfectly. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Thankfully, the driving directions provided were perfect where the GPS was not. We hope to come back again.
