We stayed at paradise cove for a week in February 2019 and got married here. The villa it’s self and garden is beautiful and well maintained. the pool is surprisingly bigger than I expected. We visited the villa in 2018 to see if it fitted in with our needs as a wedding venue and the pool hadn’t been built yet, it is a beautiful place to sit and take in the surrounded views of the garden and beach. There is a large garden area which leads to the beach and there is also a patio area that is under covered Sena the villa manager and his team were amazing in every way, nothing was too much for them. They even went out of their way for our other guests who were staying in separate accommodation Who would come to the villa frequently to see us. We had a couple of bbqs on the evening and the food was the best we had. Each time the bbq was different and the chef catered for some of the guests who were vegan and they also commented on how lovely the food was. The food was also very reasonably priced especially for how much there was! Sena also organised a safari trip for some of our guests which they loved. Jimi the owner of the villa was also very accommodating. Planning a wedding is never easy and even more so when abroad but he put us in touch with a wedding planner who planned our perfect day. He also kept in touch frequently via email to make sure everything was running as planned. The actual wedding it’s self was beautiful the team of paradise cove and our wedding planners team worked together to prepare and decorate the villa, garden and beach. Me and Andre and all of our guests would highly recommended paradise cove. If you want to just relax and stay around the villa or if you want to get out there and do lots of trips it is the perfect place to stay.

An authentic villa with a modern extension creating a wonderful shaded dining and relaxing area and swimming pool. We had four children (two families) ranging from 1 years old to 13 and the villa was perfect.... younger family in villa and older kids upstairs in extension. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the staff who were so helpful and caring with the children. Sena, Christa, Pathan, Manu were so helpful and Ravi’s wonderful meals were amazing..... we were totally spoilt. The children enjoyed rice and grilled chicken one day, then hot dogs and chips the next..... grilled red snapper on the bbq was delicious but the traditional Sri Lankan curries were fantastic.... and so colourful and tasty.... we ate everything.... aubergine curry is a firm favourite as well as prawn. I can’t recommend more letting the PC team cater for you. Nothing was too much trouble. The dedicated tuk tuk driver, Seergat was great as well whizzing us around. We had a colony of monkeys visit and a monitor lizard in the garden which added to the children’s excitement. The surf and beach are wonderfully peaceful and private with a couple of fishermen and a few Sri Lankan dogs lazing under trees..... the setting sun.... a true picture paradise. All rooms are air conditioned, which was vital given the heat, and the villa has its own generator..... also vital given the frequent power cuts.....sadly caused by lack of water in reservoirs due to change in climate. We had a memorable week and truly enjoyed our stay, thank you to the kind owner for sharing their home in paradise and all the PC team.

Spacious and stylish design with great amenities and close to many beautiful beaches. Very local feel amongst villages and markets nearby. Infinity pool and almost private beach were sensational. We had a couple of meals cooked for us which were delicious and plenty. Thanks to the owners and staff for being so organised and friendly. Would happily return and recommend the house to friends.

A place that is in our hearts
A place that is in our hearts
Words cannot describe how magical our stay was at the very aptly named ‘Paradise Cove’.   Our excitement bubbled on the journey to the villa as we navigated in our tuk tuk through small palm tree lined streets, waving to locals and with the feeling we were getting closer to the sea.   We were warmly met by Sena and his team and welcomed into our gorgeous home from home, through the original part of the villa where some of the bedrooms are located, all boasting four poster beds and cool concrete bathrooms - one of which is an indoor outdoor style.   Coming on to the large covered lounge and patio area, you are met by the most amazing view of a beautiful palm tree lined garden that runs straight out to the beach and sea. It’s simply stunning!    Our room was situated above the outside living space, to get there you walked up the side stairs to a well-appointed bedroom with the same stunning with of the sea.   Our experience got better still when we tasted the chef’s food, it was a banquet of Sri Lankan delight every single time we sat down to eat. It was the best and tastiest food we ate in the three weeks we spent in Sri Lanka, so good that we only ate out on one evening during our stay! We can’t express how much we all enjoyed it and how much we miss it now back in England. We’ve been trying to re-create the dal ever since!   On top of all the paradise views and mouth wateringly good food, we were graced with the kindest and most thoughtful villa team you could ever wish for. They went out of their way to make our stay just perfect with every single detail catered for and they truly made our stay.   We shared our stay and special day with close friends, the amazing team and some friendly local fisherman watching from afar.  Our wedding was very much do-it-yourself style and in two days we had dressed the venue with the excellent help of Sena and his team. Sena is an amazing kind-hearted man and we felt really grateful to have him there, it would not have been the same without Sena and his super crew who helped to create the perfect venue to tie the monk-blessed knot.   Our friends had as much of a magical time as we did. It is truly a day, week, villa, country and people we shall never forget.  It is in our heart now and we will most definitely return to Sri Lanka and Paradise Cove for many years to come.   We would like to personally thank Jimi, Rebecca, Sena and the boys for helping us to create this life enriching and magical experience.   Stu
