About this condo rental
Located in Centro, this lovely condo for $148 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Perfect alternative to expensive hotel room without giving up luxury or location! First floor with elevator, in completely brand new building inside, but with original facade outside on popular huertas street, extremely close to prado, thyssen and reina sofia museums and the palacio real, in historic center of madrid, the famous barrio de las letras. The apartment has a very comfortable king-size bed, plus an additional sofa bed in the living room area. With windows to a quiet and airy interior courtyard and smack dab in the middle of all the happening places. We have lived in madrid for the past 14 years, glad to help you choose the best places to visit in and around madrid. The apartment is right next to plaza de santa ana. Near puerta del sol and the plaza mayor. You can walk to la cava baja, a street full of restaurants and little bars. Also, the mercado de san miguel. Great meeting place and good tapas. *If your stay is at least 10 days, we have a complimentary cleaning that you can schedule at check in. This includes change of towels and sheets. No charge! *All of our sheets and towels are professionally dry cleaned.

My partner and I loved our stay in Madrid! This apartment is situated in a great neighborhood with lots of character, near the art museums and central to a lot of other popular sites. We really appreciated the communication with Gorete and help from Alicia at the front desk. The apartment has all necessities and was a great staging area for all our activities. Highly recommend and loved the location!

From the moment I requested our booking the owner was extremely communicative, warm, and welcoming. She provided helpful details regarding arrival, provided an early check-in, and we were greeted with a smile when we arrived.
The apartment is in a terrific location for walking yet, it is super quiet for sleeping ~ something that was important to us. We ate out most meals however, the kitchen is fully equipped for meals if you prefer to cook. Super clean, comfortable bed, and nice linens! Love this apartment and would stay here again. Thank you!!

The apartment was fabulous. It is better then shown or described in the listing. It has everything you need to stay there & is perfectly located. The concierge went out of her way to help us and even had a taxi waiting for us back to the airport. I would never stay anywhere else in Madrid.

The apartment was great. Clean, neat and as described on the website. The representative was there to meet us on our arrival and spent quite a bit of time explaining things to us and suggested things to see and do whilst in Madrid. The neighbourhood was great with lots of restaurants and bars to choose from. We were also close to Santa Ana square, where you will find lots of varying activities to do.

Gorete has thought of everything to make your stay wonderful - felt like a 5 star hotel but better. Highly recommend.

We were so lucky to find this apartment. We loved everything about it. In addition to the cleanliness and comfort, the personal touches were very much appreciated. The coffee, wine, and sweets made it extra special. The location was wonderful - walking distance to so many of the sights, yet so quiet - one would never know there was so much activity going on outside.

Perfect accomodations in a perfect location
We were so lucky to find this apartment. We loved everything about it. In addition to the cleanliness and comfort, the personal touches were very much appreciated. Great property and location in Madrid.
Renting our flat was seamless and enjoyable. Every amenity was included which made our stay even easier. We walked everywhere and tried several of the recommended restaurants, especially VCool!!

Beautiful apartment that even feels a little secluded in the heart of Madrid. Gorete was extremely attentive and thoughtful in helping us plan our stay that coincided with a huge football match. Thank you very much for your hospitality, I would love to return.

great little apartment
The apartment was as described - clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient. One difficulty was that the owner was out of town when we arrived and communication was difficult with her substitute since she couldn't speak English and we didn't speak enough Spanish to allow for sufficient orientation to the neighborhood. On one or two evenings, the neighbors in the building facing us were very noisy. You couldn't hear the noise if you closed the windows - but that meant you had closed windows.

Perfect location!
The flat was neat and well equipped for a week's stay. It was surprisingly quiet for a busy neighborhood. Best of all we could walk everywhere--- and we did! The Plaza Mayor, the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen museums, and the Atocha station were all a short walk away. For dining, many excellent choices in Huertas right out the door. Will stay again on our next visit to Madrid!

Wonderful apartment in a great location that exceed our expectations
My wife and I stayed here for five nights in late November 2018. We were ion a three week self guided tour of Portugal. Morocco, and Spain to celebrate our anniversary.
Simply put, Gorete and her team exceeded our expectations.
The process began on positive note, when our reservation was accepted and we received a nine page PDF describing the unit, the neighborhood, and helpful facts about visiting Madrid. It answered so many of our questions as well as enabled us to plan our visit to Madrid.
The check-in procedure went smoothly and we found a beautifully furnished apartment stocked with everything we needed. Gorete's assistant was able to point out the features of the apartment as well the location of nearby grocery stores. We then found an excellent notebook full of essential information. Not the least, the instructions for the washer/dryer in English!
The unit is in easy walking distance of the art museums, parks, shopping and other central Madrid sites. There are multiple restaurants covering multiple cuisines. The only impediment is that for non-Spaniards, you have to adjust to a much later dinner hour.
This apartment was the highlight of our three week trip and set a new "gold" standard for VRBO rentals.

Fantastic Madrid Apartment
Excellent apartment in a great position to explore Madrid. The apartment is in a very classy block and is impeccably maintained. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, well appointed and includes really good bedding, lounge, a lift, easy access to all the sites, restaurants, placa's, bars, metro and entertainment. Local breakfast spot excellent and has grocery stores very close by. The owners gave great tips for sites, restaurants and entertainment to visit and even gave us a complementary bottle of Rioja red wine (yum).

Terrific location; in middle of all the sites in Madrid. Very easy to navigate. Apartment was one of best we have stayed in; as my wife said, “you can tell a woman owns the apartment as all instructions, amenities, and decor were top shelf”.
